Yes, he said that. However Bolmen is the biggest lake in Smålands, but it has 37 m max depth not 14 m he mentioned... 14 m max depth is Åsnen ;) And they started from Hulevik småbåtshamn by the Åsnen lake :)

I think a leader break/cut while drilling a fish should be punished. 0.28 is very thin, especially when you fish in waters that contains pike. It's not very sportsmanlike to let fish eventually die just because you want to catch one fish more. In the last episode CWC Adam also lost a pike on 1mm fluo cut off clean, that shows what these fish can do even on thick mono leader. Happened to me once many years ago, it was my last time using a mono leader. Why not using steel or titanium leader? I've fished a lot of waters and i think i can say: Zander usually give a shit on a steel leader (6-9kg 7x7 steel), so do pike and perch. I caught all my big pb fish using metall leader.
Agreed, and you also get less fish if your leader breaks all the time. I use 1.2mm fluorocarbon without issues for zander. Not sure why people use super light gear for a fish that can reach sizes above 10 kg

I havent seen the whole episode but my guess is that the morning fishing is not needed because of the live scope during the afternoon.
