- This video shows the procedure to replace the battery inside the key of Perodua Axia 1.0 Standard G, facelifted. Perodua Axia preface lifted version too have this same type of key.

Hi kokwah i want to ask you, if I buy original axia remote key from online, how I want to sync/link the remote key with my car??
Try this
1. Put original key in key cylinder.
2. Turn to ON and back to OFF for 5 times. At the fifth time leave the key in ON. The car horn will sound.
3. Press any buttons on original remote and the remote you bought.
4. The car horn will sound.
5. Turn key to OFF and remove the key.
6. Test both remote.
If the above does not work, ask help of a locksmith.

I am not able to download Axia first model user manual from Perodua web site. I got these instruction from Perodua Alza and Myvi user manual. Not sure if can work on Axia. You can try like this.
1. Put in key, remove key, put in key, remove key to enter modify mode on alarm.
2. Press on alarm remote, Lock, Unlock, Lock, Lock, Unlock. Hazard light blink 2 times.
3. Put in key and turn to ON to end modify mode.
Try lock your car to see if alarm buzzer sound. Usually your car horn will sound as buzzer.

No setting required after replacing the batteries? Because for Toyota you have to do some setting once replaced the battery
What kind of setting are you referring to? While I prepare to shoot this video, I removed the battery and put it back a few times and they still work.
@@kokwahgoh1932 Because my Corolla Cobra's alarm system requires setting once battery is replaced, if not it won't work and won't able to unlock the car.
@@ericocy Perodua does not use Cobra alarm but, Wheels Alarm. I believe the Cobra alarm transmitter need to be sync with the car because they could be using rotating frequency.

Will it work if I use 1616 battery?
1616 is 0.4mm thinner and 55mAH compared to 75mAH in 1620. Both are 3V. 1616 may work but lifespan maybe shorter.
Use only 1620 if car is still under warranty.

Check sensor suis kat setiap pintu pastikan berfungsi. Bila pintu tutup rapat pastikan lampu warning pintu betul betul off.

@@lionadlius7149 pergi kereta, check samada cover hitam getah masih ada pada sensor switch lock pintu. Kalau cover itu sudah pecah atau hilang mungkin itu boleh menyebabkan alarm berbunyi.
Kalau sensor switch masih ada cover getah hitam, hantar kereta ke Perodua Service Center untuk cek lebih lanjut. Mungkin ada sebab lain.
Kalau dah check and tiada problem maksudnya kena tukar bateri remote ye?

the button lock and unlock should be place in different color sometime very difficult see which is lock or unlock button
Unfortunately they are all grey. The only way out is to purchase silicone key cover for Axia which they have markings in white.
1632 x boleh ke?
CR1632 lebih tebal 0.2mm. Pakai boleh, takut klip plastik pemegang tepi itu boleh patah.

hi, how do disable the alarm after unlocking the key manually instead of using the button bcs of low battery?
1. Put key in the key cylinder.
2. Turn to ON and press the foot brake.
3. Alarm should turn off.
