You're not the only one here who watches these kinds of videos just to write good and realistic love stories for their own fictional characters! I actually watch these kinds of videos to get a much better more realistic understanding of how the concept of romance works so that when I write my love stories I can make the romances between my characters feel more genuine and realistic and that way it makes the characters romance feel more relatable to the audiences and if I didn't do any of that the romances between my characters could possibly end up either becoming too cringy, too bland, or just feel forced and unrealistic and if any of that happened the audiences wouldn't really care that much about the romance of my characters! In case your curious to know about the love stories between some of my characters I can share some of them with you guys if you really want to hear about some of them!
At this point, I think my friend definitely likes me. My problem is, I don’t really know how to act about it. We’ve had moments where this is slight romantic tension, but other times I feel like I’m accidentally sending him the wrong signals. For instance, today my friends and I were talking in a group, and he mentioned how his mom asked if we were dating now (because over the summer we saw Infinity War together). My close girl friend also said that another friend of mine thought we were dating when she first met us, and I laughed pretty loudly at these two statements. It’s not that I don’t like him, but I worry about making it seem obvious to my friends that there may be a connection there. 1. How do I prevent myself from sending mixed signals? And 2. How should I react if I want him to know I feel the same way, but not make it obvious around my friends?
1. You do the opposite of the things listed. 2. It's hard to cover it up. If you want the relationship to be low-key, you need to really really cover it up.

Some of these characteristics can be easily misunderstood. There are people like infj's intp's (etc etc) or empaths that just care about people. There are people who just search for real and true friendships in which they are very careful about maintaining it. There are people who just care about other people or many people without having to add a romantic element. Theses signs can be easily twisted as they are too common in more rare personality types and just really caring people.

My crush always keeps eye contact with me the entire time we talk, and he goes "[name]~~" whenever I come into work. He's always asking about my drawings, and we've talked about similar interests (we have so much in common it's unbelievable). He's opened up a little about his childhood, but nothing big. He's complimented me a few times before; I wore my hair differently once, and he complimented me on it and he knew how I had it different when others couldn't tell. And when I got a haircut, he said he liked it, then a few minutes later said, "I like your hair even more the more I look at it." But he's also complimented a few other people once or twice (one on a necklace, one on a shirt). He'll also say I'm doing a good job or say "wooo go [name]" even if I'm just standing there, and he acknowledges me pretty much every time we pass each other during a shift. He jokes around a lot with me and has made jokes like "no you can't leave now haha." He's even stopped what he was doing just to open a door for me when he wasn't even leaving, and he's gone out of his way to follow up a joke with just me. He jokes around with everyone though, but to my knowledge he hasn't made jokes like that with them. He doesn't try to touch me at all, but he gives high fives to other people. He did hold out his arm once when I bumped into something, almost as if to catch me. Help??? Idk what to think.

My current boyfriend admitted to me that he liked me for years. I’m trying to do a retrospective analysis of our relationship before that since I didn’t see his confession come at all. We were close friends. He always called me undateable, not his type then suddenly he just confessed. It was the subtle things which should have told me he liked me. He hated being called bro. He wanted to know the names of the other guys I hung out with. He chatted me every night. He did some errands for me like school supply shopping, He gets really hurt when I laugh at him when he talks about how much he values his friendship,

I actually watch these kinds of videos to get a much better more realistic understanding of how the concept of romance works so that when I write my love stories I can make the romances between my characters feel more genuine and realistic and that way it makes the characters romance feel more relatable to the audiences and if I didn't do any of that the romances between my characters could possibly end up either becoming too cringy, too bland, or just feel forced and unrealistic and if any of that happened the audiences wouldn't really care that much about the romance of my characters! In case your curious to know about the love stories between some of my characters I can share some of them with you guys if you really want to hear about some of them!

At this point, I think my friend definitely likes me. My problem is, I don’t really know how to act about it. We’ve had moments where this is slight romantic tension, but other times I feel like I’m accidentally sending him the wrong signals. For instance, today my friends and I were talking in a group, and he mentioned how his mom asked if we were dating now (because over the summer we saw Infinity War together). My close girl friend also said that another friend of mine thought we were dating when she first met us, and I laughed pretty loudly at these two statements. It’s not that I don’t like him, but I worry about making it seem obvious to my friends that there may be a connection there.

Okay there’s this guy, he’s my friend since I was still together with my ex. Some of these characteristics can be easily misunderstood. There are people like infj's intp's (etc etc) or empaths that just care about people. There are people who just search for real and true friendships in which they are very careful about maintaining it. There are people who just care about other people or many people without having to add a romantic element. My crush always keeps eye contact with me the entire time we talk, and he goes "[name]~~" whenever I come into work. He's always asking about my drawings, and we've talked about similar interests (we have so much in common it's unbelievable). He's opened up a little about his childhood, but nothing big. He's complimented me a few times before; I wore my hair differently once, and he complimented me on it and he knew how I had it different when others couldn't tell. And when I got a haircut, he said he liked it, then a few minutes later said, "I like your hair even more the more I look at it." But he's also complimented a few other people once or twice (one on a necklace, one on a shirt). He'll also say I'm doing a good job or say "wooo go [name]" even if I'm just standing there, and he acknowledges me pretty much every time we pass each other during a shift. He jokes around a lot with me and has made jokes like "no you can't leave now haha." He's even stopped what he was doing just to open a door for me when he wasn't even leaving, and he's gone out of his way to follow up a joke with just me. He jokes around with everyone though, but to my knowledge he hasn't made jokes like that with them. He doesn't try to touch me at all, but he gives high fives to other people. He did hold out his arm once when I bumped into something, almost as if to catch me. Help??? Idk what to think.
