The epic fight scene between Gamby and Russell is one of my favorite few minutes in all of television. Vice Principals had a near perfect life. Great show.
Nice, Sam Rockwell is one of my favs. Have you watched Search for on eyed Jimmi? He has a small part, it’s the end but it’s the first movie I watched with him. Mybother favorite is ‘Welcome to Collinwood’ that movie is sooo flippin funny.
@@Hugh_Morris Michael Shannon is definitely one of those people when he's in a movie you know it's gonna be great. Movie might suck but Michael Shannon's gonna be amazing. Especially if he loses his mind in it.
Walton was fantastic in Justified. One of the best classic villains. A good villain is one with a personalist and you get to know them. No cardboard cutout bad guys, he brought the best to that role. Great acting..
I recently watched that episode of Justified and the chief makes sure to say something like, "They didn't teach you to shoot through the heart in academy?". So they implied it missed the heart, and maybe on purpose. But yeah, he definitely looked dead at the end of that episode.
Didn’t he have a super small role in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood? 🤔 it’s been a while since I’ve watched it but he was like a cowboy in one of the film scenes I think. Please correct me if I’m wrong. Anyways he would be a great Tarantino character in a new film
@@ibeymunoz7196 You must have seen him on the Blu-ray, he didn't show up in the film. The Blu-ray for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is chock-full of extras, including a number of deleted scenes that didn't make the cut in the Sony film, which already ran more than three hours in the theater.
Walton is one of the most underrrated actors out there, he's always this secondary character who saves the whole thing, but the big credits are always to the pretty boy in the main role. I'm glad that he got a big presence as The Ghoul in Fallout.
I have to say, Walton plays such a great bad/sleezy guy that my 1st reaction to seeing him is "omg, I can't stand that guy". BUT, my opinion changed after seeing him in The Unicorn & The Righteous Gemstones. He is perfect as Baby Billy! Can't wait for the new season! P.S. sorry The Unicorn was canceled 😞 great show!!
The funniest part is Sona cracking up at the Hamburglar story while unintentionally looking like the Hamburglar herself 👀. It's like the universe planned this bit without anyone realizing.
I never knew Walton until Sons of Anarchy. I don’t normally like drag characters but he seems so natural and witty I get why Tig fell in love at first sight 😅
I remember seeing him as generic crazy henchman guy in Shanghai Noon, and he just steals the scene everytime. Then there was Hateful Eight, and Gemstones, I love this guy anytime i see him.
Walton is simply one of the best around. For my money I am not sure there will ever be a better bad guy than Boyd Crowder and the magic that was on the screen when him and Olyphant's Raylan were on the screen will never be matched.
I'm so glad he became a recurring character, Walton and Timothy had great chemistry. Love justified. And love Danny Mcbride, anybody seen the Australia commercial he did looking like crocodile dundee? I thought it was an actual movie and was hype lol.
His best work is an older show called "The Shield." Highly recommend it if you like gritty tv. It's extremely well-written. Most great shows are well-written for portions (like Breaking Bad S1-4, True Detective S1, The Killing S1-2) but The Shield had story arches & character arches that lasted all 7 seasons. I think it's arguably one of the best written shows in television. Walter Goggins' character in it poised him for a strong career too. Check it out if you haven't yet.
This conversation reminds me of a youtube video where Stephen Tobolowsky talks about a movie he did with Steven Seagal and how Steven had a religious awakening and didn't want to kill people in his movies. They had already shot the movie and at the end he shoots Stephen who's some sort of sick murderer.. in post they had his character begging him to finish him off.. it's a great story.
Gotta love some Goggins. I would do anything for another season of 'Vice Principals'. That show needs more love. Nothing but unhinged, in the best way.
Walton Goggins can fit to any project like a tailored glove, but it is especially gratifying that such a glove was worn upon the work of Elmore Leonard (in a loose sense) for any amount of time.
I have to admit my disappointment that while Walton was talking about clogging, not one person said "Walton Cloggins". I was actually waiting for Matt to drop that.
Walton's one of those actors who puts in a top notch performances even when the movie/show isn't top notch itself. Dude rules.
Luckily most of things he's been in have been too.
If so many actors weren’t cast for being especially pretty, we’d probably see a lot of super-talented performers who look more like normal people.
Classic sort of old-school character actor where you know he's gonna give you something he's crafted and thought out
I love how he threw his poisoned coffee down on the cabin floor in The Hateful Eight!
That part gets me every time! 😄
@@pablot-r9402 I'm looking at you Joe Gage
He's had such a good career no one even talks about his work on the Shield anymore, and he was absolutely awesome as Shane Vendrell
Years later I noticed him as a background guy in The Bourne Identity. The guy doesn’t miss!
You mean Cletus Van Damme
that show has all-time performances from the whole cast and gets no flowers ever…

I wish he’d star in another comedy series. He is absolutely brilliant in VP! Had such a good time with that.

more an anti-hero than a villain 😀
I LOVE goggins he plays the sliver tounge bad guy like no one else!

Love Goggins, the man crushes every part. he's technically a character actor I guess right? Awesome talent regardless.
First introduced to Sir Goggins from SOA - always fun to see him pop up in any show!!
Vice principals was an amazing show. Both were amazing in it.
So hilarious.
I second this. Finally got around to watching it last year -- it's HILARIOUS. And Walton kills in his role (as expected).
Walton Goggins has somehow became one of my favorite actors. The dude just kills it. Dude has a good vibe and I bet he’s fun to be around.
Walton is SUPER underrated man. I love him in everything I see him in.

He should’ve gotten an Emmy for Justified. Walton Goggin’s as Boyd Crowder was my favorite felon
I could be having the worst day, but when I hear Conan make Sona laugh, I feel better.
Walton is one of the greatest. His roll livens up every show he is on.
