Fsg and the media have done a wonderful job of allowing us fans to be having our expectations managed throughout the years and then people make excuses for FSG because we've been so programmed to accept this stuff!
If Trent wants to leave and turn his back on being the next Liverpool captain, then he can go.
He’ll have a couple of season at RM and then what. He can do one if he thinks he coming back.

If we're all honest, cards on the table, Bradley performed better than Trent at right back last year and I saw it in person for two games and it was a clear difference. I love Trent and everything he does, but if he thinks he's going to become a midfielder somehow now at Liverpool I think he's dreaming. He will not be the midfielder that we would need and require, especially the midfielder we need now, not a year or two from now.

I said it when Edwards came back. That I was worried and wasn't sure he was a good choice for the club. We all saw what happened right after we won the league. Key players would leave but will not be replaced. Pretty sure klopp left early because of him, then he brings an untested slot when when we could have gone for xavi, who did a decent job at barca. Personally, I wanted Simone inzaghi. Now we probably won't sign anyone.

If TAA does leave it won’t be that detrimental as we have Conor Bradley who is a better defender and can take players on and score goals , ok he hasn’t got the passing ability of TAA but his other attributes make up for it . TAA trying to get a big pay day ? Make Real Madrid pay top price asap and don’t wait until he can go for free
If you’re relying on a yet unproven Bradley as a starting full back next season, you could be setting yourself up for big disappointment

Iam Galatasaray fan. Our president is just trying to increase transfer fee for Yılmaz. If liverpool offers 40m Euros they will accept. Yılmaz is not only a RW. He can play also LW, CF, RB and LW. He scored most of his goals while He played at LW. He got most of his asists when He played at RW. I hope Yılmaz will stay in Galatasaray, I love watching hım play.

The result sounds very similar to ours against Rosenberg, however as I was with our result I will be with yours, it’s a training match to get minutes in the legs. And that’s despite having to take a load of banter from Liverpool supporters about our match.
Hi Craig I also prefer Conor Bradley cause he is a work horse and has speed to outrun and keep up with wingers, so let TAA go if he wants to and it shows his dedication to LFC.

The contract extensions will have been affected by the unexpected resignation of Klopp (which possibily was a forced announcement).
To compound this we have had a massive turnover of staff.
You have to appreciate and accept that this leads to a rocky transition, will affect players and their outlooks and we may see casualties.
This is compounded by the fact that klopp was so influential and the aftermath so much more for this.
To turn round and state that the club is slow to react, is to be ignorant of the circumstances.
Remember that a lot of the players that have left on frees and others that were not cut (after their prime) where in Jurgen's time.
Yes it would be madness to see Trent (Mo and Virgil) leave on frees, but also why is this not also a logical outcome given what had come before?

For the first time as long as I can remember, I’m not looking forward to the new season starting.
With the contract renewal’s for certain players still not progressing and little to no action regarding significant player recruitment, up until now it’s all negativity.

As for the transfer spending, i think that despite sitting at the bottom of that list we have more than managed to compete with those above us, in fact we finished above all except 2 of em last season, spending loads of money doesn't equal success

It must be tempting. Actually makes sense from his pov to wait a year and see how slot does and how ambitious the club are by what the bring in this summer. He doesn’t get the big transfer fee and he will make big $$ in his contract regardless. No one knows how slot will do. Other PL teams are strengthening while we do nothing. He gets to live in Spain, make $$, win more than he ever did here and play with the best attackers on the planet.

The only problem with what you’re saying is will Trent be an automatic choice to be in the first eleven consistently. And I’m saying this because of Phillippe Coutinho’s experience with Barcelona. These big clubs buy players to pad their bench, whilst reserving the starting spots for elite players. Is Trent an elite player?

Dani Carvajal, Jeremie Frimpong, Ben White, Kyle Walker, Denzel Dumfries, Pedro Porro, Joshua Kimmich, Achraf Hakimi. EVERY SINGLE ONE of these do their PRIMARY role of defending better than Trent. Trent does not get tight to his man, his positional instincts are not as good as any of these, when he loses the ball he is slower to track back than any of these, he is slower than most of these. Trent’s strength is his vision, long range passing and ability on the dead ball. Unfortunately for him Real Madrid already has players who can do these things. What Madrid wants is what Trent is not. A defensive maestro at right back.

Slot should of been at Liverpool training ground weeks before he actually showed up. All this stuff is a back log from a management that spent too long on the beach. I hope slot proves me wrong and has something up his sleeve because its not looking good on first glance.
Here is my (speculative) reading of the situation:
Calafiori is the “trip-wire,” and team goals can’t be set until most of the transfer work is done.
If Calafiori goes to Arsenal, Liverpool make final offer to TAA. It will be underwhelming for him, and he will reject it. Then Liverpool will make a move for a young right back and an experienced midfielder ( this is why Rabiot is in the rumor mill ) so they can push for a dark horse Champions League campaign, which invariably involves an upset against Madrid. Trent will sit the season out.
If Calafiori can come to Liverpool, Liverpool will make a gregarious offer to Trent and he will accept. Team goals shift from merely making top 4 to winning the league, and we will see a cascade of big transfers targets.

I’m not a qualified ethnographer but my gut says that Italians are late bloomers, physically. I would be more concerned if he was expected to be a pure left back, but, I envisioned him shifting to the right with TAA moving up, some kind of 3-4-2-1 situation.

Based on the severity of his first injury, it’s not unreasonable to assume that tissue from his hamstring was used to repair at least one of his ligaments, hence the hamstring issues that came in 21-22.
