- edit: in light of recent events regarding the person i attained this ust from, i'm taking their credit out of the description. since i can’t really do anything about the fact that they're burned into the video, i want to at least eliminate the ability to go to their channel from my video directly. if you’re gonna get mad at me for it, then maybe consider that me not crediting them is nowhere near as serious a crime as what they did. google is free.
there were supposed to be subtitles at the bottom left corner which is why the producers go over her face and not down there, but for some reason the subtitle track didn't take when i went to render this video. oh well.
keep in mind that some of these producers use earlier voicebanks for miku or use entirely different voicebanks usually. i work with what i've got, and what i've got is miku's v4x bundle and maybe $25 to my name. that's not an exaggeration or a lighthearted joke. we're behind on our bills and our rent just went up. please help.

Jokes aside I fully did not expect to be in the same lineup as SLAVE.V-V-R and PinocchioP. I think you did a good job at my style - certainly captured the distinctive trait of never letting Cryptonloids near [I] because they always say it as [i:], and you did SLAVE.V-V-R good! I can't speak to any of the others 'cause I don't listen to them but it's a fun go

wow slave vr tuning is so amazing, how did you do that?
short answer: very carefully. long answer: vocaloid6 editor's note menu has a good handful of different tiles for vocal fry, so i use a lot of those. i think vocaloid5 also has them, but there's tutorials on how to make vocal fry in other engines. outside of that, i used miku sweet for that one, and here's the parameters: breathiness=50, air=50 (honestly these maybe should have been set to 64 but it's your choice), mouth=all notes set to 64 instead of 127 to change up the pronunciation and make the consonants a little punchier, and then just adjust velocity to your liking on how much of each syllable consonant sound you want her to linger on. hope this helps!

why tf did you not upload youtube subtitles tho?
unless you literally made the subtitle track IN the video editor, youtube should accept most subtitle formats, iirc
and if you bother to use third-party tools you can even do fancy stuff like colored subtitles, or position them on screen (tho only works on desktop)
it was a subtitle track in davinci resolve itself, and i haven't figured out how to do youtube subtitles yet.
unnecessary update: i figured out what was wrong. when i rendered the video, there's a little dropdown menu hidden at the bottom of the davinci resolve render tab called "subtitles" where it gives you the option to render subtitles separately or burn them into the video directly. the problem was that i didn't even have anything selected, so it's not even that the subtitle track is a different video in my folders now (which would be pretty funny already), it literally just didn't render with the video. this will be remedied in future videos that have subtitle tracks but man i love technology.
