I followed your advice Pastor Ewing about two years ago about giving to the poor! I was DEEEEEEEP in debt at the time, had to leave a dead end job, and barely surviving! I fasted and cried out to God to help me change my financial situation. He impressed me to developed a strict budget, but FIRST, He confirmed that I needed to liberally give to the poor--with my time and money. I stepped out in faith and started doing this, and am so thankful to say that I am now finally debt free! When we give to the poor, we are literally loaning to God! HalleluYah!!

Also if I see a need on the street and feel led I bless there as well. Always look for an opportunity to bless. I always try too have loose change in the car so as to bless the car gaurds.

@@dnmoss there's alot of homeless in my area sometimes I give them food if I cook too much, a ride if I see someone at the bus stop like a young girl w kids. Money if I'm led to. Giving to the poor and tithing isn't always money sometimes it's time or food
I Bless God for this teaching which was a benchmark for me searching the scriptures about tithing. I have since 2019 stop tithing and started giving to the poor and to the church that gives to the poor. To God be the Glory for these teaching and study. I am now debt-free as of 08/01/23. I used to give to the needy for many many years and I never used to lack nor have financial problems. A few years back I became friends with someone who influenced (by putting fear in me) me to not give to them anymore. She influenced me by telling me that all the poor and needy use the money for rituals and they sacrifice the money to satan, and if I continue giving I'll be cursed and my finances will be cursed. I listened to her. I stopped giving and today for maybe 3 years or so I've been in serious very serious financial debt to the point I can't even afford to buy bread for my kids to take to school. It's true that some people do curse money that you give them. BUT..... 1 you have to pray before giving them money, that "Father I pray that this money is used for good, and nothing will be use against me ; no weapon/ device formed will prosper against me. OR 2 you can pray the same prayer as in #1 before making a payment and give to a Reputable homeless shelter, or food pantry,etc. You can give online avoid touch anyone
Those who have the audacity to complain about Pastor Ewing going over 1 hour can re-watch the video at a more convenient time in their personal schedules. Usually, people pay for financial advice (and buy expensive books or travel to conventions), and the money goes to unbelievers. I usually re-watch the day after videos are posted and still gather nuggets of wisdom.
Too Repetitive , that’s insane to not listen to someone because they are too repetitive….. how about our parents or whomever raised us?!? I can’t tell you how many times I rolled my eyes because my mom saying this and that but it helped me in my life! Whoever said that is someone who likes to learn the hard way and will make mistake after mistake. Wow HALLELUJAH I'm in tears listening to THIS POWERFUL teaching and it's so true because I have gave Thousands Of dollars over 40 years of walking with the Lord and I never saw the blessing they said that I will get, however recently I personally been given to those around me who are in need and I noticed immediately the Lord meets my needs and desires and gives me more to continue giving to those in need. My sister, I am like you, I had walked with the Lord for 45 years and was never so enlightened. I did not study as I should have, and I was not taught the rules in this manner. Since 2019, I started to obey consistently to give to the poor every and anything I had, and God changed my finances for the better. And I believe that once I continue, he is going to bless me exceedingly and abundantly .
Same here. In 2019 during covid shutdown I asked the Lord about tithing. He pressed on me to give to Compassion International. He said 'they are doing my work'. I give to my church but more to the poor now.

If the Holy Spirit tells me to give to a certain person and to the church, I will give. And not all land is good land to sow-in that's why some people don't reap a harvest because it can be cursed land. That why it's good to only obey what God tells you to sow at, that's where u will reap a harvest. And it's also says that it's better to give than to receive. I'm grateful to have learned to to sow seeds cause you reap a harvest, you reap what you sow. Thank you Pastor Kevin 🙏🏽. You have truly taught me how to become financially stable, I thought for years and I mean years, that the tithes and offering were my security blanket, and I even bragged about it, but honestly they did not work and I paid them consistently for years just hoping and praying that God would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing for me, and also because I didn't want to be cursed as the Pastors brain washed me, teaching that giving tithes and offering to the church was giving to God, and leaving out the poor was fine, one pastor even taught that we didn't have to give to the homeless/poor because the he said the bible said that the poor would always be with us. He also said that if we didn't tithe, we were in sin. I was truly hoodwinked and naive thinking that the tithes would get me out of debt, and that I was following the rules of God, and God would get me to a blessed state, but it brought me so much sorrow and pain. I am so grateful to God for your teachings because it has truly set me and my household free, and got us to a better place financially and I can only continue to go upward by and thru studying and following the Word of God, and your teachings. @@irenemukisa6909we are not completely out of debt but we are in a much better place financially and we got there by listening to Pastor Kevin's teaching and following them. We were able to pay off some debt, and now adding more to the other debts that we owe, we are able to save more and also have some to spend for things we need to do, but we help the poor and those in need much more.

Cos i always had something to give but i would always seed it to the churches for marriage, car, house etc. None of that worked. The "system" of which I'm a part is perhaps a little different and so tithing works for me and it's not done out of duress, BUT I now have a different perspective, now that I am enlightened by the WORD! I can also testify that giving to the poor and helping the less fortunate MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

Many years ago before i became a believer in Christ Jesus, I used to hear a friend say that he would rather give to the poor, pay fees to the orphans etc and he used to increase all the time... for a while now, I have been asking God about first fruit giving and most believers tell me to pray and ask God which church should I give. This morning I woke up been led to this teaching and thats how God has answered me... Give to the poor..thank you Jesus..and funny thing is I have been teaching people about giving to the poor and also practice the same but I just thought in terms of my salary but not my business income😅 now I know

Daniel who had interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, gave advice to the king, by telling him to repent of his sins and show mercy to the poor, and if the king heeds to this advice perhaps, what he saw in his dream will not come to pass and not be removed from his kingdom and continue to rule as king[Daniel 4:27]. I stopped tithing many years ago, I now give to the poor (2 organizations). My question is do I give 10% of my salary to those organizations OR give what God lay’s on my heart? My goal is to give to a 3rd organization real soon and another. All the years I paid tithes and a jumping Jack seed, first month seed, first fruit seed and pastor vacation seed and saw nothing in return, I’m running to give to the poor and will continue to give to the poor. Period!

Why stopped paying tithes?
I Bless God for this teaching which was a benchmark for me searching the scriptures about tithing. I have since 2019 stop tithing and started giving to the poor and to the church that gives to the poor. To God be the Glory for these teaching and study. I am now debt-free as of 08/01/23. I used to give to the needy for many many years and I never used to lack nor have financial problems. A few years back I became friends with someone who influenced (by putting fear in me) me to not give to them anymore. She influenced me by telling me that all the poor and needy use the money for rituals and they sacrifice the money to satan, and if I continue giving I'll be cursed and my finances will be cursed. I listened to her. I stopped giving and today for maybe 3 years or so I've been in serious very serious financial debt to the point I can't even afford to buy bread for my kids to take to school. It's true that some people do curse money that you give them.
BUT.....
1 you have to pray before giving them money, that "Father I pray that this money is used for good, and nothing will be use against me ; no weapon/ device formed will prosper against me.
OR
2 you can pray the same prayer as in #1 before making a payment and give to a Reputable homeless shelter, or food pantry,etc. You can give online avoid touch anyone
I always cover the money I give by The Blood of Jesus Christ before giving..
Those who have the audacity to complain about Pastor Ewing going over 1 hour can re-watch the video at a more convenient time in their personal schedules. Usually, people pay for financial advice (and buy expensive books or travel to conventions), and the money goes to unbelievers. I usually re-watch the day after videos are posted and still gather nuggets of wisdom.
Too Repetitive , that’s insane to not listen to someone because they are too repetitive….. how about our parents or whomever raised us?!? I can’t tell you how many times I rolled my eyes because my mom saying this and that but it helped me in my life! Whoever said that is someone who likes to learn the hard way and will make mistake after mistake. I'm in tears listening to THIS POWERFUL teaching and it's so true because I have gave Thousands Of dollars over 40 years of walking with the Lord and I never saw the blessing they said that I will get, however recently I personally been given to those around me who are in need and I noticed immediately the Lord meets my needs and desires and gives me more to continue giving to those in need.

Can you pray God to open my Husband eyes to giving to the poor and not the church because I personally know they don't help the poor with the money brought to the church.
My sister, I am like you, I had walked with the Lord for 45 years and was never so enlightened. I did not study as I should have, and I was not taught the rules in this manner. Since 2019, I started to obey consistently to give to the poor every and anything I had, and God changed my finances for the better. And I believe that once I continue, he is going to bless me exceedingly and abundantly .
Same here. In 2019 during covid shutdown I asked the Lord about tithing. He pressed on me to give to Compassion International. He said 'they are doing my work'. I give to my church but more to the poor now.

If the Holy Spirit tells me to give to a certain person and to the church, I will give. And not all land is good land to sow-in that's why some people don't reap a harvest because it can be cursed land. That why it's good to only obey what God tells you to sow at, that's where u will reap a harvest. And it's also says that it's better to give than to receive. I'm grateful to have learned to to sow seeds cause you reap a harvest, you reap what you sow. Thank you Pastor Kevin 🙏🏽. You have truly taught me how to become financially stable, I thought for years and I mean years, that the tithes and offering were my security blanket, and I even bragged about it, but honestly they did not work and I paid them consistently for years just hoping and praying that God would open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing for me, and also because I didn't want to be cursed as the Pastors brain washed me, teaching that giving tithes and offering to the church was giving to God, and leaving out the poor was fine, one pastor even taught that we didn't have to give to the homeless/poor because the he said the bible said that the poor would always be with us. He also said that if we didn't tithe, we were in sin. I was truly hoodwinked and naive thinking that the tithes would get me out of debt, and that I was following the rules of God, and God would get me to a blessed state, but it brought me so much sorrow and pain. I am so grateful to God for your teachings because it has truly set me and my household free, and got us to a better place financially and I can only continue to go upward by and thru studying and following the Word of God, and your teachings. @@irenemukisa6909we are not completely out of debt but we are in a much better place financially and we got there by listening to Pastor Kevin's teaching and following them. We were able to pay off some debt, and now adding more to the other debts that we owe, we are able to save more and also have some to spend for things we need to do, but we help the poor and those in need much more.

The way i used to care less about the poor OMG i feel im in a backlog to give them. Cos i always had something to give but i would always seed it to the churches for marriage, car, house etc. None of that worked. The "system" of which I'm a part is perhaps a little different and so tithing works for me and it's not done out of duress, BUT I now have a different perspective, now that I am enlightened by the WORD! I can also testify that giving to the poor and helping the less fortunate MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE!!!

Many years ago before i became a believer in Christ Jesus, I used to hear a friend say that he would rather give to the poor, pay fees to the orphans etc and he used to increase all the time... for a while now, I have been asking God about first fruit giving and most believers tell me to pray and ask God which church should I give. This morning I woke up been led to this teaching and thats how God has answered me... Give to the poor..thank you Jesus..and funny thing is I have been teaching people about giving to the poor and also practice the same but I just thought in terms of my salary but not my business income😅 now I know

Daniel who had interpreted King Nebuchadnezzar's dream, gave advice to the king, by telling him to repent of his sins and show mercy to the poor, and if the king heeds to this advice perhaps, what he saw in his dream will not come to pass and not be removed from his kingdom and continue to rule as king[Daniel 4:27]. Again pastor Kevin Ewing, thank you for this teaching. This was a wealth of information through the scriptures on how we can be blessed, if we consistently follow God's rules for financial freedom.
We need to gather resources and invest in more homeless shelters. Especially in all the big cities. It is out of control.

I stopped tithing many years ago, I now give to the poor (2 organizations). My question is do I give 10% of my salary to those organizations OR give what God lay’s on my heart? My goal is to give to a 3rd organization real soon and another. All the years I paid tithes and a jumping Jack seed, first month seed, first fruit seed and pastor vacation seed and saw nothing in return, I’m running to give to the poor and will continue to give to the poor. Period!
Our giving should be in accordance with 2 Corinthians 9:6-10. With this particular law of giving it is not limited to a 10%
