I asked ChatGPT why Chloe's surgery is any different from female genital mutilation (FGM) - which the World Health Organization correctly says is a human rights violation, regardless of whether the female consented to the procedure.
ChatGPT spewed a lot of nonsense. I persisted, pointing out over and over that ChatGPT had failed to explain why FGM is a human rights violation, while what happened to Chloe is not a human rights violation.
Eventually, ChatGPT concluded that Chloe's surgery and FGM are both human rights violations.

I don't think its that simple or that "evil" I think in a bid to make it acceptible for those that sincerely have this issue, somehow it has become almost "trendy" and rather than fighting through puberty with the previous methods, perhaps, goth, or whatever the rebellion was, we can now pick Transgender. I don't think this is a surgery that should be done on ANYONE until they have reached adulthood.

Yupp this is all true. On top of it all why do you think its being pushed so mucb, could big pharma and provate healthcare profits have any influence? Could chinese tiktok want to distract western children from reaching their full potentials? All posibilities.
They should focus on getting to the root causes of the astronomically hugh self harm rate in this trend.
Teens going through puberty, having to grow up and mature, is such a stressful and anxious thing. This ideological trend tells these kids that they can blame all their problems on their natural born body, and when they change it all their problems will go away. Then after they mutilate their body and destry their health with hormones, and the same problems are still there, it hightens all those negative feelings. This is absolutely the equivalent of a rebellious goth, emo or punk phase that helped teens ease into adulthood. The difference is that their telling kids to see their body as the enemy, because their identity does not match the made-up societal labels and sterotypes that were constructed for each gender/sex. Which is absurd, gender and identity are two completely different things.

I never saw this kind of indoctrination made on purpose. That's crazy... But I saw broken and abused kids who try to turn away from the abuser, only to run into a "community" who has been consistenly abused and which developed slowly into a fierce group which we call today indoctrinators. We should actually step back from the" tree", because only seeing the whole forest will give us a chance to find a way out of the "woods."

Be careful in condemning the parents. First, parents are told by the "experts", "Do you want a dead daughter or a living 'son'?" implying their child will commit suicide if they are not allowed to transition. Second, there are many stories about parents who have lost or are losing their children to the state because they will not affirm their child's desire to transition. Social services takes these children from their homes and away from their parents and confuses the children even more. It is pure evil.

I truly feel for the children that are becoming adults, and having this realization. Society is so quick to jump on people that are feeling different or feeling like they don't belong. People are so quick to slap a label on it, not thinking for a moment that this is a feeling the significant majority of kids will have during their developing years. There are groups out there that will reassure them that they're just not in the right body, and the child will feel like they're finally being included in something, getting that feeling that they finally belong. It's heartbreaking that the first jump people take when a child is feeling 'different', is that they're not in the right body.
It just makes me sit back and think about how happy I am that I didn't grow up in today's society. I was a tomboy growing up, mostly male friends, liked a lot of things that were considered more masculine, like fishing, camping, video games, etc. It's a very real thing to realize that teenage me probably would have considered the idea that I was in the wrong body and spent my entire life regretting it.

I’m so sorry ppl in your life let you down and helped perpetuate the lie that you were born “wrong”. It is so sad that kids are being told they have to fit into a certain mold to be accepted. I played sports all my school years and then went into the Army to serve as a medic. My goal was to be a nurse. There weren’t as many women that had chosen that route at the time(80’s). However I loved it and did become a nurse and a mom. My point is I didn’t necessarily fit the mold of being a typical female. Yet I thrived. It’s ok if girls want to do traditional “boy” things and still retain their femininity!
I pray you get over this time of your life and continue to live life fully as a female. You can still be a mom…you can still do things that will impact others and have purpose in your life. Thank you for sharing your story so others can benefit. God bless you young lady❤️

Honestly, what's lost in our society is the ability to discern with reason. Read the works of the late professor Charles Kinsey. He spoke of gender fluidity and it not being a securely linear occurrence. Look at Basketball player Dwayne Wade... The man loves his kid and the kid was born with a platinum spoon in her mouth. Yet the kid identifies as a girl and the support she faces prevented her from having a rotten self image/falling ill from depression. This is the unfortunate consequence of religion. The 'Devil' is to blame for all of this. First and foremost Bullying is unexceptionable and parents need to install this in children’s brains, I always told my boy “your not better then everybody else BUT your as good as everybody else” No child should be making this decision, from everything I’ve read that at a time during puberty they have mixed emotions about their sexuality, and parents should educate themselves about all this before allowing your child to make such a decision.

Why the hell were they doing surgery at 15???? They will NOT do that in Canada. You have to go through A LOT of therapy and you have to pass certain milestones like being socially transitioned for more than 3 years. And they absolutely will not do surgery until you are 18!!! This isnt a trans problem it is a medical mal practice problem. In the US doctors dont give a shit as long as they are making money. As a mother of a trans teen I can tell you my teenagers journey has been VASTLY different. It really upsets me that this is put on as a trans issue when its not. Its a doctor issue. Its frustrating to see so many hateful cruel people that use this as fodder to be absolutely cruel to trans and even cis kids. Like the parents attacking cis girls accusing them of being trans when they are not.

If this is in any way common, the government needs to step in and control the doctors. Can parents prevent this from happening, and if so, why did you’re parents allow u to have the surgery? Why would the doctor do such a drastic, life changing surgery on a young girl? What the heck is the doctor thinking? Why is this allowed by the medical profession? Where are the ethics? What about the oath to do no harm?

  • @chrisdejong709

Chloe, there are many trans regret stories being ignored in these times, being labeled as "hate", but I'm so glad you spoke up. I'm a gay man, have been criticized/called a girl in my teen years, and even my own mother thought maybe I was supposed to be a girl. I chose to leave my body as it is, remaining male, not lying to myself, and never hiding who I really am... If #yolo and "god makes no mistakes - #ladygaga #bornthisway " are the true, your message can save so many from so much pain in the future. Thank you so much for standing up to this ongoing #pride drama issue, the simple things in life should always be appreciated, never complicated. Btw, I'm not religous at all, I'm just a gay man who know's the basics in life, that we all need help remembering.

The internet is one of the best inventions mankind has created. Social media, however, is the exact opposite. It has brought nothing but despair amongst my generation, and I feel "disconnected" from the rest of society just because I choose not to use it, like an outcast or someone who's strange and not all there. We're living in a loneliness epidemic that no one is treating seriously, and it affects me every day to the point of developing depression (there are other reasons, but it's one of the main contributors).

She's been very clear in other interviews that her parents were presented with an emotional blackmail, "Would you rather have a living son, or a dead daughter.". This is based on the false information that kids who don't get gender affirmation treatment (hormones and surgery) will end up committing suicide. She knows her parents were emotionally blackmailed and she doesn't blame them.

This is why my kids aren't getting any surgeries until they are 18. I went through this same thing (minus the surgery it was late 2000s so this wasn't known in my area, all I knew is I didn't want my boobs anymore and wanted to be a male. Eventually I learned I was genderfluid, but at that time I was 12 and had felt that way until I was 19). My kids can be whoever they want to be, but I want them to be SURE it's truly them and not just what they feel at the time.

If you are interested in actually parenting your children, you’d be railing against this ideology altogether and not encouraging it whether they’re 18 or otherwise. Regardless of age, this medicalization process is incredibly damaging and shaves years off a persons life, and that’s just for wrong sex hormones, let alone these surgeries that have a 35%+ complication rate.
