You are definitely setting the bar High. I am in San Antonio, and so far I have not been able to find anyone to commit to mimicking this build for me. (Headlights, ground affects, controls, vehicle approach) I don't even like ground effects. But you just gave ground effects class. I love it! I have not given up I'm going to start reaching out to Dallas.

I used some clear plastic clips made for LED strips on Amazon to hold them in place. The adhesive failed on me.

What size fuse came with yours? Mine had a 5amp with the sp611e. After the fuse blew it will turn on but only to white and will not receive bluetooth functions or respond to the controller.

The only thing that I don’t follow is this.
The underglow start-up animation when you unlock/ open you car.

Hey Vincent! Yeah it's the blueghozt that enables the welcome animations. There's a couple ways to do it but easiest way is to ditch the 602 and just use the blueghozt to control it all

question.. when you plug in the lights does the blue ghozt app automatically see the lights? or do you have to do something else to make them connect to your phone?
not sure I understand the question. if the lights are wired to the blueghozt, then it sees them. to connect the blueghozt to your phone, open the blueghozt app and the name of your blueghozt should pop up. click it, and you'll be in the interface to control the lights connected to that ghozt.

Is it possible to program and have underbody lights automatically turn on/off as welcome lights? Like how when the car is park and you unlock from the fob, the door handles have lights that turn on and then turn off. I'm thinking of adding under lights to that sync. White 2014 q50 with white LED underneath.

@@SquareWheelsAutoyes!!! Sorry, didn’t catch that when I first watched it. But can you make it so that it auto turns off after starting the car? I kinda want the underbody lights to be low key and not be too much attention. Also, I live in CA and illegal to drive with.
Yep anything is possible, just depends how you configure the triggers to interact with your car

Does this drain the battery with all these wires ?
Not if you wire smart! Addressable LEDs can drain your battery even when they're off thiugh. Check out @17:27 I cover the power delivery options and how I did it. U could be fine with just underglow, but with all the heavy lighting I'm running I had to be smart about it 👍🏾👍🏾

@@daltonmohr9327 you can achieve all those you mentioned with just glowe's UFO controller. To protect your battery, just be sure to have a way to cut power (relay or switch) to it if you're gonna park the car for extended periods of time. I only have the blueghozt in place so I can unify my headlights/led emblem/underglow/interior all together, and do that triggered welcome animation when I unlock the doors.

My bad man - here's the seal I used: amzn.to/3y6Hpbk - I drove to Florida and had it rip off. I applied new strips and used self-tapping screws to hold it on and its been secure ever since
Question… I did notice you said it activates with the welcome lights. But can it be turned on and off on the fly?
Another thing I was hoping to see was the illumination match the rest of the car. Can’t tell if that’s the cool white or some sort of purplish blue that is showed in the video.
Yeah since this is one of my Blueghozt outputs, I can turn it on and off easily in the app. 👍🏾
I hear you re: white. Because these are RGB strips, they max out their Red, Green, and Blue LEDs to *simulate* white. Additionally, if the strips end up mounted at an angle, it can affect the way it blends the colors together and you can get a tinted look. In a nutshell, simulating pure white is tricky.
What size wheels and tires do you?
In this video, they were 20x8.5 245/35/20 all around.

@@lilashe23 no cutting, that's pretty conservative sizing. I actually added 25mm spacers to make them fill the wheel wells better. My new wheels are 10.5" wide with 295 tires and still no cutting or fender pulling required.
Your car. Do what you want. But that's super ricey. I do like your headlight animation though. Very informative video even though I'm not into the content,

Still in process of getting other mods (exhaust, sound system, air intakes(have one just not installed yet), 1" larger rims & tires, tint & possibly a better radiator (hot af in AZ), front lip, side skirts & rear defuser, LED Seat Covers, and brakes & rotors.

I stopped the video when you tried to tell me 12v is more efficient than 5v… please do your own independent research instead of reading what a company says. Other than that the video and voice work was amazing
12v pulls half the amperage as 5 volt, and you have a nearly unlimited supply of 12v amperage readily available.
If you run 5v LEDs you’re going to need a ton of power injection all over to keep voltage steady along a 30 foot build.
Less amperage also = less heat and stress on the wires.
You can produce 60 watts at 5 amps @ 12v.
You would need 12 amps (over 2x!) the amperage to drive this at 5 volts.
We have builds eclipsing 30 amps of current at 15.5 volts. That’s 465 watts. That’s 99 amps of current on 5v tech, woah.
The research has been done and I’ll stand by the statement. It’s not a baseless claim. We recently had 12v addressable halos made, too, that can hook up unline with the rest of the kit, no adapters or converters needed.
