Squeeze totally went under my radar as a youngster. So underrated, and the back catalogue is banging, if you want a good singsong just get their old songs on your spotify.

Chris and Glenn are both intelligent, well-spoken men. Why did Wogan only choose to speak with Jools, who wasn't even a primary member of the band? Granted he is a talk-show host himself, but it seems dismissive of Difford and Tilbrook.

    • @agoogleuser2896

I remember at the time watching this, and when Terry said about watching Madonna and paying a lot of money for a seat andd they won't see her expression!
Well they ave those massive screens for people that are way back in the stalls or up in the gods.
Example-Duran Duran on their: Arena Tour in 1984.

@@michaelbrosnan3016 I was being facetious. Squeeze is actually my favorite band of all time. Argybargy was constantly spinning on my turn table and was the license plate on my car for several years until recently. Not bragging but to answer your question honestly, I've seen them perform live so many times since as far back as 1979 that I've lost count. Several venues in the US and the UK. I was at King Tut's Wah Wah Hut in Glasgow when Chris jumped on stage to perform with Glenn (and The Fluffer's) for the first time in years after they'd split. It was an emotional scene on stage and in the audience. I couldn't believe I was there to see it. That was around 2004 if I remember correctly. And I agree with you ...they sound better now than they ever have.
