IU is by far the most authentic artist out there. Everything abt her is based upon honesty, integrity and sincerity whether its her song lyrics, her attitudes, her beauty, the clothes she wear, her actings, her words or her consideration for others. I pray for her well being every single day. After I become a fan, I cannot watch any other dramas except hers. She is the best story teller through her songs. I like that she not only write love songs but alsp life experiences songs. May Jieun-ssi be blessed every single day. Most of her dramas she acted, it seems to me, have some element of true stories that happened in her life. Some people crticsized her acting skills. But to me, she is a great actress.
I think we have the same thoughts. The way I feel totally changes when I listen to one of her songs especially "Knee" I suddenly felt sad though I'm happy, I don't know, when I wanted to cry I will run to her song to comfort myself, maybe her songs speaks for a lot of people that's why I prefer listening to her song than the others.
So basically, IU deserves the world :)))

She even go to the graduation of her fan who requested for her to perform, she said will come, and she did, she bought a flower and gifts for that lucky fan. When a fan request for her to sing to the wedding which is also a Uaena couple, she came without hesitation and even gave a huge gift for the newly wed. She's so kind, humble and a loving person who always take care her fans.

There aren't much because most fans are into the upbeat and almost monotonous so-called music of K-Pop girl groups... I honestly think such nowadays lack sense and sincerity or reflection of emotions and are kinda messy to listen to, that's why I only like very selective K-artists' pop songs.
BTS and IU are the ones I've binge-listened to. And because of them, I'm becoming willing to give other sincere K-music artists a shot to listen to.
I just started appreciating K-pop because of the mentioned artists just less than 3 months ago, actually.
I always thought it was all the glamor and lack of soul put into songs, plastic-surgery and white wash enriched faces that were the selling the company name, not for the sole purpose of making real music.
And it was just the K-drama scores or instrumental soundtracks I used to like listening to.
But now, thanks to IU and BTS, I'm liking their vibe in many ways.
The visuals and background match their songs, the rawness of every thought and emotion put into it, the genuineness they show in their tours and concerts to their fans, both local and international, their efforts in being a part or doing a part of their song productions.
I hope for IU to be more known internationally- it's not just Western music artists that have to shine all the time, to be honest.

I got to watch IU act for the first time in My Mister on Netflix. She was brilliant, she is a true artist. ive seen a lot of people hating on her and the reason are just idk but i never hated her i mean i just was focusing on my own groups but when i listened to don't like her i just cried and fell for her but didn't stan but kept listening to her songs and in last june when i was feeling lonely and idk but i was having a hard time i fely that only her songs can ease me and until now when i feel a bit sad i just listen to her and send massages to her on Instagram idk it makes me a lot better and now i know that she's one of the most beautiful talent women and she deserves everything and now im trying to search more about her ty❤.

Funny because that is actually what I look like watching this video. 😂 Aaahh, she just makes me happy. I'm also quite sad because I wasn't able to go to her first concert in Manila last December because I didn't know her yet at the time. Then I watched Hotel Del Luna and it became my #1 favorite K-drama (I must have watched the whole series 3x now). And that's where the fangirling began. After 5 months of non-stop fangirling, I've watched almost all of her shows (My Mister, Scarlet Heart, The Producers, Hyori's B&B, Dream High) and listened to her songs on Spotify (my favorite album is definitely Palette!!). I've also been watching videos of her everyday. I gotta say, stanning her is definitely one of the best things in this life. 🥰

IU is a really talented and beautiful singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor. That said, there are many others who [arguably] exceed her in some or all of these areas. But what separates IU from all the rest…is that she’s IU.

And her type of visual is just nice, enough to make you wow (prove: she is a CF queen), but not too bright it can outshine her song or her acting (prove: her song, her music are consistently good, her acting projects are always good; no one can say watching IU's drama or MV just for her visual). Her beauty is not a boring type too.
2.she is a deep thinker and reflected in her songs and her interviews. Please read carefully her interviews translation or her lyrics. You definitely will learn some new little things about life.
3.she is an inspirational figure. Like how an introvert like her can challenge a dark, exhausting kpop industry since 15 y.o until now. And win most battle on top of that. Being female idol is hard, its like 3 times harder than male idol. And IU is female idol, solo act, and from a middle tier company. Despite all of that, she have been on top of the industry for like 10 years.
4.like some uaena here stated too, she is so honest. Her honesty sometimes too hard to watch, and worrying because it can harmed herself. Sometimes its okay to say some white lies in entertainment industry, of course fan will be understand if she told 10%-15% white lies. But she said almost all of it, like her bullimia story, her drinking habit, her watching porn, her insomnia, her anxiety about confidence, her slight depression, etc. She even make her story to songs (!).

I didn’t know that she’s a great singer I thought she’s just an actress but when I listen to her songs, I fell in love even more. Her lyrics is beautiful and relatable, she’s a storyteller. I think its great that many ppl got to be IU's fans from her acting, why? Because you will fall deeper from her music XD IU's musicality is no joke, in 2008-2010 she was guest in weekly radio gigs about 3 times a week, and that programs she will sing and sing and sing. Week in and week out. And she covers numerous song too in many small stages. If you search youtube literally there are hundreds videos of her live singing, from 2008 - now.

I really enjoyed this video. Iu is a pure sweetheart. She also has a lovely voice and is just stunning. I absolutely respect her though there is a reason a personally don't call her a queen.
