it's all in the small details, where did you get the strap kit for the blanket? did you just repurpose some straps, or was it made for use like that right behind a solo seat? I have a Road King Special as well, and I want to have a blanket right behind my solo seat like that.
Def agree about the details being everything.The bedroll straps and sarape blanket were purchased from a California vendor named Stellas_Parasols, which you can find on Instagram. Just send her a message, she's super approachable and ships out fast. In order to affix the straps to the back of a solo seat I used two small black zip ties (one on each side) which connect the straps to the solo seat by looping them through the seat's metal mounting tabs. Once you place the mounting tabs over the rear fender screws and tighten down the seat bolts you won't see the zip ties anymore. Hope this helps, thanks for leaving a comment!
They did my fender about a year or so ago and it wasn’t cheap. The price for the stretch was about what others charge but the shipping back and forth is what made mine $$$.

I'd probably just go with an alternative like the fiberglass stretched fenders sold for under half of that quote

So in this video the fender is a stock FLHR fender with the stock fender trim (powder coated gloss black). You can go with a stock fender it will just need fender lift brackets. Here I’m running the Arlen Ness ones. This will ensure the stock fender won’t rub on the 21” wheel by raising its mounting position upward a couple of inches, then you’re good to go!
Front: Harley OEM auxiliary lights for 2017 Road King Standard w/ Harley visor-style trim rings (all housings, light bar, acorn nuts etc. powder coated gloss black). Hogworkz 7" LED Headlight and 4 1/2" passing lamps kit. Custom Dynamics LED turn signal inserts. Rear: Cuztom Kraft Afterburner lenses (w/ cheapo Amazon 1157 LED bulbs), Custom Dynamics low-profile saddlebag lights. Stock light bar (bottom of fender). 🤙🏽
The black console is the stock one that comes with the bike. I removed the console from the bike (which isn't hard to do), carefully peeled off thin metal decorative insert which is glued on, hit it with goo gone and then had it re-painted vivid black by my local auto painter (less than $100). You could also go the Bad Dad route and buy a custom console from them but then you still have to get it painted. The "use what you already have" way made more sense to me economically.
I hear you bro. I got mine used in 2019 with low miles for just about 15k. There are def deals to be had on the used Harley market. The bars are 16" Tradition handlebars from Steady Custom Cycles.
@@mikeanderson9613 Thats sound about right about the dealership. I found mine on Cycle Trader. I live in NJ and the bike was at a Florida dealership that sold all kinds of bikes. Had it shipped to from FL to NJ (shipping a bike isn't as expensive as you'd think). Good luck bro, Im sure eventually you'll find your Road King at a decent price.

Avon cobras are great tires (I ran them also before switching to whitewalls). They performed than these Shinkos but I needed the WWs. @@oldsparky14

It’s a S&S 550 cam (part of their 124 kit). I had the 465 for stage 2 then went big bore and it got replaced with the 550.

No, it was a 107. If you start out with a 114 then the big bore should be a 128.
