I don't think people (males) hate strong female characters, I think when they're written poorly and unlikable is where they fall flat. I love Sienna as a character, she's so brave and heroic when things get real, but shes also sweet and relatable. She is my Sceam Queen! Up there with T1&T2 Sara Conner, and A1 &Aliens Ripley!
Bingo. Sarah Connor, Laurie Strode, Sidney Prescott, Nancy Thompson, Ellen Ripley...that's just a few off the top of my head The problem is that there isn't enough focus on new ideas (gender be damned) and Damien has nailed with Sienna. It also helps that Lauren is a fantastic actress.
Agreed! I'll take a movie with a strong female protagonist any day of the week so long as she's well written! Too many big Hollywood movies poorly write their female characters - Captain Marvel, pretty much everything Star Wars since Rogue One - and then call the fans misogynists when they point that out. Give me a good character, I don't care if they're male, female, adult, child, animal, anthropomorphic furniture, whatever. There's no substitute for good writing.
If she wants to go into comedy terrifier is a perfect start that will definitely help her get comedy because art is hysterical and her character is very funny
The character of Sienna could have been terrible if played by the wrong person. Lauren really is phenomenal in the role. I believe every feeling she conveys and I think her experience in kickboxing makes her characters aggression believable. I hope to see a satisfying conclusion to this story and I'd love to see Lauren in more action oriented roles. Maybe some sort of fantasy film?
Before I saw Terrifier 2, I didn't know Lauren, so she's someone new to me, frankly she's the new Neve Campbell of Terrifier saga, meanwhile David Howard Thornton is the Jim Carrey of Horror films haha.
Saw it at a scream unseen, so you don't know what movie you're going to see. When the name and certificate was shown on screen, it was the sound of a theatre full of people being instantly traumatised.
If she would have watched All Hallows’ eve she would have had that whole story of her dad like the rest of us do I really liked what they did with this 4th film it was incredible I have to give it a 10/10 it’s going to be very high on my list at the end of the year
Shoutout to REC!! 🎉

Which theater and day was it?
@@justindixon6777 Odeon Cinema, Portlaoise, Ireland. 9 October 7:45pm Scream Unseen screening.
@@justindixon6777 Movie's great, btw. The best Terrifier so far.
@@justindixon6777 I think he’s talking about the premiere
@@Eddgutierr678 They did that in the theater where people threw up and leave in UK. Maybe it's that
