Hi Benn. Another Classic movie, and one of my personal all time favourites that I re-watch regularly. Delighted also to have this HMV Premium Edition on Blu-ray. Your sound on this video was very hard to hear Benn, I had turned up full & was straining to hear you ?
Such a Fantastic piece of Sci-Fi & the colour elements for the time setting of the movie, and all of the time travel components & lands, are superb. I was transfixed by the film from a very early age & still get that thrill from watching today. The actual full sized Time Machine was lost for a while & then was discovered in a thrift store of all places, looking the worse for wera, but was restored to its full glory & is thankfully available on display. I would love a nice metallic table top piece of the original design Time Machine to have on display.
Yeah, I am picking up these classic creature features on the HMV releases, love them! About the sound, I am having problems with background noise on my mic, people have told me to turn down the volume on the camera, but I think it is worse than having the buzzing sound, I will have to play around with it as I don´t want to buy another mic, the good ones are quite expensive.
Didn´t know that about the machine, lucky they found it, it was on an episode of the Big Bang Theory, but don´t know if it was the real one, I suppose it was, though, have you seen the episode?

Hi Jack, yeah these HMV releases always look great, I do collect steelbooks, I have about 20 at the moment, but I only get them of my very fav films.
Yes, I always watch the movies in my collection, when I buy a new film, and always watch it before I put it on the shelf, even if it is a film I have already seen, I have all the movies in my collection at least once ( a part from 7, that are on the to watchlist, lol), but most of them I have seen 2 or 3 times, and some of them even more. thanks for watching and commenting mate, have an awesome weekend.
@@blu-raybenn4854 thanks you too!! I don’t own steel books for movies at the moment. I do collect a lot of Blu rays. I’ve pre ordered Chaos Walking Blu ray and Snyder Cut. They sold out on the steel book so I couldn’t get one!😭
@@jackrobins8756 Yeah, some steelbooks sell out fast, but I don´t stress over missing out, it will always become available of Ebay or other platforms if you really want it, and they normally come down in price a lot of time, the important thing is that you enjoy the movies you pick up, thanks again Jack, you should upload a few videos showing off your collection!

Yeah I do agree that it would be nice if the slipbox & amaray covers were different in the HMV Premium editions, but nevertheless they do releases the forgotten classics which the newbies should watch & consider collecting.
“The Time Machine” I’ve actually not seen since I was a kid 😬but know I was entertained with these movies, fine unboxing buddy 😎👍

Nice unboxing Benn and a great classic movie (much better than the remake). The scenes with the shop window mannequin are absolute genius and the time machine design is superb. I hope you enjoy(ed) watching it.

A brilliant classic Benn. Back when I was living at home, this movie was always playing on the TCM channel. I never got tired of watching it, although I did watch the remake with Guy Pierce, but you can't compete with a classic. Another brilliant film I discovered whilst watching the TCM channel is the old b&w The Picture Of Dorian Grey starring Hurd Hatfield (in the title role), George Sanders & a very young Angela Lansbury. If you haven't seen this Benn I definitely recommend it mate, it's based on the Oscar Wilde horror story (the only story he ever wrote), and so atmospheric, another classic...in my eyes. Predictably they did do a remake with Ben Barnes & Colin Firth but it was no way in the same league as the original. Any good choice of movie Benn, I'm looking forward to going back into HMV, it's been a long time. Take care buddy 😊👍
Really had fun watching this. I enjoyed the remake a lot, think it got too much hate, but yeah, the original is amazing! Never seen the original Dorian Grey, but I saw the remake and hated it, so boring. Will have to watch the original which I am sure I will enjoy. I wish I could go to HMV, miss it so much! @@blu-raybenn4854 Busy...well I've taken a bit of a break to talk to you, the remake of Dorian Gray was a big disappointment for me as the lead actor Ben Barnes was so wooden, Colin Firth tried his best but that wasn't enough. There are lots of actors who when playing second fiddle to the main star, they really excell and fit the part like a glove, but as soon as you give them the main lead, they fail miserably, they lack that persona, that screen presence to carry off a film. Another actor who springs to mind is Chris O'Donnell, acting along side a legendary veteran like Aliens Pacino is no easy feat, yet in the fantastic Scent Of A Woman he is brilliant, and holds his own with real ease ( which is even more remarkable when you consider how early on in his career he was given that role ), but try and put in a film as the main lead, it just doesn't work. I enjoyed Circle Of Friends but he lacked that screen presence. Although I shouldn't feel too sorry for him as he's doing really well as the side kick in the long running CSI series. But going back to Ben Barnes he played second lead in the brilliant Seventh Sony and I absolutely love that film and recently he starred in the Netflix series Shadow & Bone and again as a side character he was real good in that too. @@ajlomas7185 Yeah, I know what you mean, I liked O´Donnell is The Chamber, at least I think it is called that, with Gene Hackman, he plays the main role there, have you seen it?
@@blu-raybenn4854 No mate, I haven't seen that movie, perhaps I'll check it out at some point. I think it may have come out at around the same time as Tom Cruise's The Firm.. I think. I dug out an old film I haven't seen for ages...Ghost Ship, it's such a brilliant film, it reminded me of the John Carpenter classic The Fog, although John did famously say it was the least favourite of his movies, and when the studios asked him to direct the remake, he declined the offer. Although I really enjoyed the remake, a lot of things in the original that didn't make much sense, they actually had some really good writers who worked on the remake and the story actually was better. Both films are good in their own right. Feel free to drop me a message Benn, it's always nice to hear from you.
