I've started training 2 of my cats. Thanks for the pointers. I also watch the videos about Yoshi and Eevee. Their mom's trained them to do things too. Like twirling one direction and then the other. So cute.

Wilbur and Milo are used to it. But Silas is 4 months old this is s his first and he is like 'hey Dad, the door to the screened in deck is closed and all the shades are down ( we have those bamboo shades that roll up and down. I told him "Si, it's going to be getting cold soon and you'll be glad the shades are down and you can't get out there. Here's a treat, go find your brothers." Off he went. To nap ontop of the cat tree.
Bravo Dexter! You learned so quickly. You are a welcome addition to the family of Fuzz Babies. I would have been disappointed if I didn't see Buster and hear his theme song.

Buster is the best actor of them all and so easy to work with, so I prefer to choose him 😸 Freya already knows the paw trick, so I couldn't teach it to her.

I tried teaching my MC girl paw tricks, but now she just thinks treats are called 'Paw'. So whenever I say "paw", she wants me to throw it across the room so she can chase it down ( ͡º ꒳ ͡º)
Yeah, that's how I taught my cat to give paws. He then suddenly decided to give me a gentle paw and I was so glad I gave him a treat. Huge mistake! He now chases us around to give us paws at all times of the day and night. Be careful what you teach your animals, they might learn it.
I look at Dexter and seeing him sitting next to Buster give a good idea of how big Dexter is getting. He is a tall boy now, he is going to be a very big boy.....he has another 1 or 2 years of growing to go?
