Isaac theorizes on why Cassandra wasn’t seen at Rapunzel’s wedding! Could Cassandra be the daughter of Mother Gothel? Or did she settle down in Old Corona? I go through all of the possible fates of Cassandra to determine what I think will happen to her.

Hello fun people! I don’t know about you, but I wish I could have had the chance to go to Rapunzel’s and Eugene’s wedding. It was so massive, gorgeous and even had souvenirs! But there was one question I had: if the day was truly perfect where was Rapunzel’s best friend Cassandra? In Tangled: The Series, Cassandra was introduced as Rapunzel’s lady in waiting, which meant she acted as a personal assistant and companion to a woman of royalty, and throughout the series the two girls become very close, but if they became such great friends in the two years Rapunzel lived in Corona before getting married then why isn’t she present for one of the most important days of Rapunzel’s life?

I have to agree that Cassandra is a Guard. It's the only way to truly clean up her missing. Though it is clear that she just wasn't created at the time the wedding short took place as production of Tangled the Series didn't start until early 2015 more likely before it was announced.

It was announced in 2015. So it was greenlite and the basics were introduced. After that it took them the next two years to finish it and then it aired in 2017. It's okay don't worry about missing anything.

I think they should do a remake of this short in the style of the show with a few additions:
- Varian running late due to a project and ending up chasing the animals in an attempt to save the rings and falling trough the roof
- throw Rudiger, Fidela, Owl and the crow in with the chasing animals
- Varian realising that Fidela and Owl being there means Cassandra is near by
- Cass walking in to the room late only to catch Varian all messed up crooked goggles and all
- Cass asking what did I miss?
- Varian half groggy proclaiming CASSIE!!! very loudly when he lands in her arms and hugs her
-Both blushing in embarrassment as the crowd turns to them
- Cass giving a pissed red faced look at varian with a raised eyebrow
- Varian asking wait did we miss the entire ceremony?!
- Cass facepalming in response to Varians question
- cameos from characters from the series (lance, red/katalina, angry/kira, quirin, king Edmund, the castle staff, the former captain of the guards, monty etc...)
- and offcourse Cass should be wearing her outfit from the series finale along with the cassandrium necklace and Varian just his season 3 outfit

I haven't gotten a chance to watch the series yet (but I'm going to)! and I've gotta say, Cassandra being Mother Gothel's daughter actually has me really excited. It offers Gothel's character a sort of "redemption" through her child. She can protect and look out for Rapunzel in a way her mother never did. And they look so alike it's uncanny- Disney does nothing without thinking about it first. It's pretty much canon to me at this point. :)

Connor Plisga turned to dust because she was extremely old, and when rapunzels hair was cut, meaning it lost its power, it also took away the spell (or whatever it is) that caused gothel to remain young for so long

One thing I love about Tangled Everafter is the voice acting. Its GOOD. Like, for a TV show for kids. Typically we see cheap actors (Ie: Lion Guard (Personal opinion dont stab me), and I cannot STAND that type of voice acting. This, I love.

Gothal was born poor and before was actually a good women who always wanted to look young and beautiful in her young years like the high class girls and one day she fell in love and had a child but still with her obsession of beauty, she noticed that after giving birth to Cassandra she started to have a impact on her youth and cast her husband and daughter away and she just went mad and ran away to learn witchcraft and basically find a way to keep her youth and well the story branches out from there to Tangle,
Since Cassandra was abandoned when she was a baby, it would be explain why she doesn't remember her mom and why her dad wouldn't tell her it, would be like "Your mom left you because you cause her to look older and she hated you for that and abandon you" ....lol

I personally consider Cassandra as my favourite character in the series. She's tough, smart and practical, exactly what I like. She's also much more "realistic" (i.e. similar to persons in real life). On the contrary, Rapunzel is a bit too kind, caring and naive. There's rarely any people in the real world like her.

We totally thought that Cass was Mother Gothel when we first saw screengrabs from Tangled: The Series 😱 But we've loved seeing how Raps & Cass's friendship has progressed so far! 💜 They have their differences, but they really care about each other and would do anything for the other! It'd be cool to see who Cass's parents are, especially if her mom is actually Mother Gothel!!
Plot twist!! I haven't seen the new series, but I'd love to see Cassandra possibly be Gothel's daughter. That'd be an interesting twist! Neat, plus, it'd be really interesting to see Cassandra's character change or react to the news of being the long forgotten unknown daughter of the enemy.

I know Cassandra's character was created after they produced Tangled; Ever After, but she still could be in the audience at the church. There's a lot of people there and for a six minute video it mainly focus on Pascal and and Maximus getting the rings. I like to think she eventually comes back someday.

Easy, her character didn't exist yet when the wedding mini-movie was made. *lol* especially seeing how Rapunzels hair is STILL brown and short and still looking like it had been hacked off with a sword, like it didn't have time to grow out the NORMAL non-magical way, after days/weeks/months before her wedding to Eugene.
I DOUBT Cassandra is Gothels kid. Seeing how they look like they are the same age, exactly WHEN did Gothel get pregnant without Rapunzel noticing that her 'mom' getting fat? Especially seeing how FAST Gothel ages without getting her usual magical fix from Rapunzels magic hair, theres no way she could handle a pregnancy with her constantly rapidly aging body.

Gothel lived for at least a few hundred years, right? Meaning the magical golden flower was around for that long. But then the flower's magic was transferred to Rapunzel. Does that mean Rapunzel, when she possesed her magic hair, was immortal? And if she wasn't immortal, would the power of her hair had died with her had no one ever cut it? So maybe Gothel could only live as long as Rapunzel did? (Again, if her hair hadn't ever been cut)

I dont think that how it works. But, before I get into that. Yes, I do believe in some way the magic of the flower WOULD be passed down to her children.
Now, the only reason repunzel got the powers was because she was in the womb and the magic infused with her only. There is speculation that a bit of the magic made the mother age a bit slower. But, the magic wasn't passed down geneticly. It was given to her from birth. Literally.

Holy crazy I forgot to answer. I personally believe the magic would slowly drain from repunzel after she dies. But something like that might take years to happen. Possibly until repunzels body turns into a skeleton and regarding the magic, that in it self might take a very long time.
How to not make Gothel immortal:
Step 1: make sure no one cuts Rapunzels hair cause like the healing properties are good
Step 2: get her arrested and thrown into a jail cell for at least a day
Step 3: make sure Gothel can't touch Rapunzels hair
Step 4: just leave her in cell to disintegrate
Step 5: vòila! No more Gothel!

Eugene, Rapunzel and Lance are my favorite. It's a really fun series and reminds me of the Little Mermaid/Aladdin shows that used to air when I was a kid.

My favorite character is definitely Cassandra!!
Not only was she a good swordsman and friend to Rapunzel but I love how she still had a code of honor and never betrays a friend's trust even when she gets into disagreements with Raps and Eugene in some episodes. I also really enjoy the relationship she has with not just Rapunzel, but also Eugene, her adoptive father (The Captain of the Guard) and Varian during the first season and I can bet we'll see more of her character development evolve further down in the next 2 seasons.
Lastly, she is voiced by Eden Espinosa who previously played Elphaba in the Los Angeles production of "Wicked" and I got to say, I really dig her singing voice especially during the song "Ready As I'll Ever Be" in Secret of the Sundrop.
Can't wait for Season 2 to come out. :D

Wottso Videos , I was wondering when watching the video. In Tangled Ever After the Crime Brothers are chained and sitting in the crowd. While enjoying watching the wedding of the two people, but mostly Eugene they hate in the movie and series. One of the brothers even crys at the wedding.
My question for you is..... Why are the Crime brothers; even at the wedding while enjoying it when the series and the movie shows us they hate mostly Eugene and Rapunzel????
