I just received a Wing Sung 601. It feels heavier, more solid, than pens like the Hero 616 that I tried about 15 years ago. This pen is so much easier to disassemble than a Parker 51 Vacumatic: clear and logical. Thank you, SBRE, for this useful video (and commentary).
If they didn't come with your pen, look for it on ebay, relating to tool for wing sung 601 and 601a. If I recall, you get two for about USD 1.90 delivered.
Appreciate your Platinum disassembly's, i hope for a Procyon disassembly video. Thank you, fountain pen reviews are easy to find, but you're disassembly Videos are a rarity indeed.
I am very frustrated about the disassembly. Looks very easy in this video. I wanted to swap the original nib with one I had bought from Bobby (with the upturned tip). I am no novice but the nib would not budge however hard I tired. I will stop there because I do not want to damage the original nib (which is not a bad one anyway). However, I wonder what the trouble is? I also wonder about the praising comments, these people must be magicians. Please advise.
any reviews of that pen? have been thinking of getting this one for a while now. don't now if it is worth its price. used to write with a hooded nib pen in school (some kind of chineese clone of parker 51, as I assume now). was kinda feeling nostalgic and thinking of getting a pen like I used to have. but cant' figure out which clone of parker 51 is good
The newer version is 601A and I think SBREBROWN already did a review. There are a few more on youtube. I like mine, though the nib is a bit super-fine compared to what I am used to.

This video was very helpful and also got me chuckling. Love your sense of humor. You crack me up. Cheers
I was wondering how to do this. Just carried out this process for the first time and it worked a charm. Thank you.

In top form today I see 😂 suprised you didn't call the greese a lubricant for better screwing of the pen parts 🤣 lovely accent today
Love the disassembly instructions. All this talk about haggis, though, has me a bit uneasy.
Where Can I get the tool to unscrew filler system, please ?

@sbrebrown zie ik dat goed, heb je de brede gleuf in de collector aan de onderzijde in plaats van de bovenzijde (in het verlengde van de punt)?
Ja en dar zou wel eens verkeerd om kunnen zijn
Brilliant!
Can you please tell me from where can i buy this end open tool, as it is not shipped in india by any website
I don't know, mine came with the pen.
It's being sold on Aliexpress as wing sung 601 disassembly tool
It’s not the size that matters except when it does..... 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
We will see this slogan in meetings and rallies
🤣🤣❤️👏
Fun! Love your accent.
I've missed these videos!!! Awesome that you brought them back! Thank you! Edit: Now… is it possible to disassemble a Jinhao Shark?
Thanks for demo. That tubular wrench fitting design idea beats the tar out of using special tool.
What kind of Multitool was that?
Looked like a Leatherman Signal.
Yes, Leatherman Signal
