Liked the video man. Nice fish on a crank bait. I just subbed to your channel. Keep up the great work.

Try under the Soward Way Bridge. Got a heap of Yebblies mid 30s to 50 cm and a couple of smallish cod (20 and 40) there last week on cheese, yabbies and sot plastics.

Will get down there at some stage for a LBLF (Land Based Lake Fish). I took the kayak down there Sat morning for a paddle troll and didn’t raise anything. A donut for the mornings paddle of a fair chunk of the lake. Was a good morning for paddling even without a fish but I’d be lying if I said the donut result wasn’t a little bit disappointing. 🤣

I find the lake fishes best from midnight to dawn, most reliable time for solid fish that aren't carp or ratfin reddies about 3 inches long. @@OoterOutdoors Shame about the doughnut it happens to us all. :D
I am planning on getting down to hit the wall and skate park area, been a while since I was at that end of the lake. LBG is my go to. Got a nice 70 cm carp, solid fish, off Bowen Park on Saturday afternoon, along with a couple of reddies and a smaller carp, but the wind was terrible and it got horribly cold as soon as the sun hit the horizon.

@@AndrewFishman afternoon has typically been a better return for me as well. Have never been there beyond 9pm ish myself.
I figured I’d give it a crack as it looked to be good weather.
I’ve tried LBLF near the skate park last year but didn’t have much luck. Was running chicken and cheese though so limited my catch variety.
Googong in the morning wasn’t that great for me either but was still a good paddle and I saw some pigs.

I looked at your pig video. I grew up at Burra, so the Tin Hut end of Googong and the Burra Creek and Qbn River were my go tos as a youth. Spent a lot of time in my later teens once I got a licence going down to Cascades to meet friends from Qbn and we'd fish and swim all summer. Some awesome trout down there. It can be a hard nut to crack, but Googong holds many special memories for me. Some of the biggest brownies and Yebblies I have caught are out of the dam or adjoining river. @@OoterOutdoors
