How to have the Perfect Weekend in Liverpool, England

- Our UK Rail journey has begun with our first stop in Liverpool.
If you are looking for a day trip from London or just want the perfect weekend here we have tried to see as much as possible in the birthplace of the Beatles.
After catching our train from London to Liverpool our first stop had to be the number 1 thing to see, the insane Superlambanana which has to be seen in person to be believed.
Next up a ride on the Mersey river ferry to see the city from the water, but you know we needed our coffee first and what's better than a Beatles themed cafe called the Fab 4.
A trip to Liverpool is not complete without a pp into Mathew street, where the Beatles were discovered, before popping into some vintage shops as we made our way towards the final stop - the Liverpool cathedral to see the city from above.

I truly enjoyed Liverpool. The people there are the friendliest I have ever met. The love for their city is infectious.

My dad's from Liverpool and I have lots of family in Liverpool, absolutely love Liverpool, the people, the history, have just come back from a weekend up in Liverpool. Watched the Liverpool Vs Norwich game, 2nd time at Anfield. Cant wait to go back up to the best city in the world.

I'm Irish and an Everton fan. Liverpool is a lovely city and the people are friendly and helpful.
Grew up next to Liverpool as a kid, always happy to see it again in videos. I stood in that exact same spot as Stephen almost exactly a year ago next to the statues of the Beatles. Crazy 😅

@@flyingthenest if you get a chance whilst you're in the UK, you should definitely check out areas like North Wales and Yorkshire (such as Knaresborough, Harrogate, York, Llandudno and Conwy) some of the UK's best hidden gems are up north
We do have some future plans to head into Wales!

I'm a true Liverpudlian and there is alot more to Liverpool than the Beatles. We have the two cathedrals which are beautiful and I hope you found Derby mouse in the cathedral.. we have two football/soccer stadiums, Anfield and Goodison and in South Liverpool we have one of the most beautiful old houses in Speke Hall.. You missed quite alot

For anyone getting put off by the mean comments honestly don’t I’ve never been to Liverpool but you never know until you visit a city yourself what someone doesn’t like you might like. Many people told me Leeds was not a good city but when I went to see for myself I absolutely fell in love with it. ☺️ love all your videos !!

I"m Nigerian and I moved to UK 12 years ago, I travel for work and holiday all over the country and Liverpool is the only place that felt closest to home. Felt the most comfortable there, sometimes more than where in live. ItsIt's a great city.

You guys have to visit the Lake District - the scenery is insane at this time of year! You can catch the train to Windermere and get around by busses :)

I travelled with Virgin Trains (some of their trains are now rebranded as LNER) when I went from London to York and back. My mum and my sister went to Liverpool once and when they were there my sister asked my mum why there was lots of Beatles stuff around. My mum then explained that the Beatles came from Liverpool. It was amazing to see all the Beatles spots throughout Liverpool in this vlog.

That “Gotham city building” that you saw is called “The Royal Liver building”. It has the biggest clock face in the UK. It’s bigger than Big Ben.

I would recommend anyone going to Liverpool to go to the Maritime museum to see their great exhibition on The Titanic, and also do the Beatles Bus-top Tour, which is amazing.

Glad you guys enjoyed my home city! But I would say there is SO much more to Liverpool than just the Beatles - the docks are so instagrammable so if you ever come back you have to go there. Also the Baltic triangle is the hipster area to go so you guys would really love it.
This is my hometown and I'm glad you had a good time. If you ever come back, I'd visit The Baltic Market. There's loads of stuff to so round then ways and the food in the market is AMAZING!
