I'm a smart guy but when I here the noise of a vaccum I can clear my head and get the answer to any question on my homework and life, I love vaccum sound!!!!
That's the feeling I get too! Does anyone else sometimes turn on the vacuum cleaner, and then stand by the vent bit, where the warm air comes out. The combination of the cool, chilling feeling the sounds gives and the warm air makes me feel pleasantly sleepy.
I am obsessive of the sound up to the point were I have Mp3 recordings of it to help me sleep or relax. I wasn't a colic baby but all through my child hood I used to go to sleep it I heard the sound of a vacuum. It doesn't make me sleepy in a sense its almost like a euphoric type of feeling that makes me hairs stand on end...
@A9420 Get that, but only after the wonderful skin tingling sensation, which travels up my body - usually, a tiny draft, or exposed skin which is slightly cooler than the rest is the starting point. Had a tape in the 80's +90's (self made) of the perfect vacuum cleaner. Don't know what model, but have been searching many years to get that sound again.
I get that massively, always have done, think I may have even posted a similar question somewhere on TH-cam. Goose bumps and a cold but strangely pleasant feeling?
You should never keep blocking the suction up for long periods of time. Continually doing that, you'll find the motor will eventually burn out. Take care of your equipment and don't try to burn the motor out. Take heed.

Best soun ever! Brings peace to my mind
