If we use gray screen for Epson we can take advantage of contrast that optoma has isn't it? . Contrast ratio is so miss leading unless you see it in real you can't tell which one is better. When you chk reviews online all these optoma models struggles with contrast although on paper it looks great.

      fortunately epson bulbs are cheap.
Also lifespan would be good enough considering eco mode is bright enough comparing to any DLP rival.
Also it would be less noisy and consume less power (100W per 5000 hours is 500kW of energy, which may be costing a lot in some regions)

Hey Akshay, Epson can stream 4K content from OTT as per availability. The best stick is 4K Max or Cube. You can sideload apps. Lan Port is irrelevant in projector as it does not need Internet (Media player would need). No it cannot play any format video file directly from USB. The USB is not meant for any data reading

Dear Tanmay, I had a paid consultation with you on buying the EPSON EH-TW-7100. I am pretty happy with the product, and it is a delight. In the same breath I would like to list the following drawbacks I found with this equipment
Bluetooth: It is Bluetooth version 3. I am not sure whether it will affect the pairing and connection with higher versions. Of late most of the BT headsets are of version 5.0. One thing is sure.
I was able to pair. It shows in the find connected devices menu. The connection fails with an error message: "You cannot connect to a device that is not copyright protected by SCMS-T method." I tried pairing with as many as 4 BT headsets. When we google EPSON gives a message that we should get in touch with BT manufacturer. Best of all this is not mentioned in any of their use guides. I don’t know how to identify or how to search for the BT headset that supports SCMT-T. Added information that SCMT-T is basically for audio CDs to protect copyright. Absolutely outdated protection in the current age where there is hardly any need for copying. Moreover, how can a user copy from an EPSON projector? I have taken the matter up with EPSON, and they sent an engineer. He could not resolve, and he had no clue. I have escalated to EPSON, and I am waiting for their return.
LAN: Another known limitation with this projector is that it does not get connected to Wi-Fi LAN for the purpose of connecting my laptop OR other devices in the same network. Of course, we can stream content from OTT apps. Technically speaking it does not support file transfer, I think. I had earlier used the EPSON HOME CINEMA 2150. I never had any issue with either BT or WI-FI LAN.
It is shocking that the newer version does not protect the existing features. This is what we call regression error in SW products.
I wish and suggest that you bring forth these in your videos. You may pay me a token reward in appreciation for this information. 🤔😚

But, I'm 3 month late to watch this video. Got a projector during / probably just before this video came out. I was looking for differences between Optoma Hd30hdr, UHD33, Benq TK800 and of course Epson TW7100.
Apart from getting spooked by the dreaded rainbow effect in the former list, lense shift became deciding factor for me. Epson 7100 is pretty flexible in installation. In my HT, form factor ruled the function. I could either go with UST projectors or long throw projectors. I'm glad, that I went for Epson for flexibility of installation. It's brighter and I don't have to worry about rainbow effect sensitive kin and kith.
Just, went out of my way to post it here so that your undecided viewers like me get benefitted.
