Here's what I came up with: Overstreet was the first one I thought would have left her in real life because even though he and his wife weren't working, I just didn't see a man of his stature that head over heels for a broke little artist with other men. Then Mars made the most sense for her. He related to her on the artistic level but I didn't get that he has that free artist spirit that she has. I have not seen the movie, but I read the synopsis online and I also watched an interview with the cast on the breakfast club. The actress is a married woman in real like and she is just making her money. She seem like a good actress. I will watch when I can. Great take on this movie though.

Folks really need to see the original film to understand the series. It was watered down compared to the 1986 original. I was born in 84 so I didn't see the film until I was 8 yrs old which was too young. I watched it for the sex scenes which were graphic.
