Thanks 👍 I believe it depends on your monitor or mine eheh in the C Log 3 samples my skin looks more natural (even if I should desaturate it a bit)...C Log tends to make my skin look more unnaturally yellow.
C-log 3 looks better, I like when the colors pop a bit more. There is a green/yellow tint in the normal c-log that is not very flattering. Both looks good though.
hi dan the reviewer ppl on social media say the clog3 10bit video from canon (I think h265) are not smoothly playable in most computers? im worried about this bcos i was planning to upgrade to r6m2. but if the codec is giving headaches then thinking to swtching to sony. but my mind stil want to stick with canon colors. also would u mind sharing some sample clog3 10bit footages (need maximum jst 20 seconds duration)?
Yes, there's an option in the settings called View Assit. so that you get to see some contrast and color on the screen when you film in C-Log and C-Log 3.
Unfortunately it's not possible to download C Log or C Log 3 on the Canon M50...however you can download a flat profile called Technicolor Cinestyle (for free) which is the closest thing to C Log for the Canon M50. I made quite a few videos about it. Thank you for watching and have a great day!

Si, sigo utilizando la 90D también, claro...de hecho he grabado un video hoy mismo en Toledo con las dos camaras (R6 y 90D) con la colaboración de otro TH-camr (su canal es en español). De verdad 20mp me van de p. madre...hasta que no se "crop" la imagen demasiado (algo que no hago) todo está muy bien. De toda forma nací en Roma pero soy de Estados Unidos con orígenes de Francia también, llevo 4 años aquí en España. Gracias por tu comentario y por mirar mis videos!

I tend to expose for the shadows....so the highlights look overexposed...quite a bit...but then I can recover everything in post without any problem. If I expose for the highlights it would be difficult to recover the shadows without getting digital noise. Thanks for your comment!
Regular C-Log has a more yellowish tone and C-Log 3 is more reddish.

I have an iMac with M1 processor and it works perfectly with the files of my R6.
When you record in c-log , c-log3 , can you apply lut for display? Is there lut available in canon R6 ?

There is no "better" profile. It all depends on the purpose. For vlog and comedy movies, saturated colors can be better. For realistic movies, no.
