Cheers brother!!! Glad you like it! Definitely entertaining to watch you jam out to the songs. Hope to see you at a show sometime when we're on tour! Keep rocking my man!
Hanging out with you out front of the APK in London Ontario before your show for like 40 minutes is one of the best memories of my life. Such a good dude.
@grant love how you guys comment on your reactions. Seen it many times - it is very appreciated by your fans as well. Hope to make it to Brooklyn, but Please come to Philadelphia one of these days!
This has to be my favorite song on the album. I listen to this on repeat on the way home sometimes. This song itself has a story with a beginning, middle, and end. LOVE IT!!!!!
I think at some point your hands were actually shaking while listening to this. I know mine were! What a fantastic song by a great group. As a retired drummer, I want to give props to Scott Buchanan for his work on this song. I get where you think its a fight song, because the double bass work made me think of a cavalry charge! Keep them coming, Mr. Rock and Roll!
Yo, you reacted to the entire Nightwish Wacken show so, I dare you to react to this entire album! I promise, this album will leave you on the floor and out the door so many times! Apex is, simply put, an absolute masterpiece.
Christopher Parsons yeah man, best metal album in recent memory for me, start to finish, front to back, it’s nothing but quality, I’ve rocked to this on repeat from the moment it dropped
Good morning, what a great song and reaction. I haven't heard to much of Unleash the Archers but this was excellent. Thanks for sharing have a great day.
This song and a song, “The Wind that shapes the land,” on the other album in this story, “Abyss,” are my two favorites in their entire discography. They both tell such gripping narratives
You should really look into the story that encapsulates this album as well as continuing on to the next. It makes everything even more intense and meaningful
Yes! My favourite Archers song! If I listened to this in my car other road users would have to look out. You should do the whole album now it's awesome 🤘
I would have to be in an American M4 Sherman, just so I can listen to Manowar, Iron Maiden, Sabaton, and Unleash the Archers. All so people would have to look out for ME. LOL
these extremely gifted musicians can make music like this and makes folks feel like they can take on the world with the very uplifting elements they incorporate much 80's synth with that phantoma album is really something and will pick up steam and when it does
Power epic metal with speed/operatic/symphonic elements is what you like more. Add some AC/DC vibes and we are done !!! Nice done! Cool video! WISH YOU THE BEST FOR 2020 m8!!!! Cheers
The entire album is, in fact, a concept album. The song 'awakening' follows the story of the ancient immortal that has been sleeping for 1000 years and now has to follow a new master's command and journey to the top of the mountain...the APEX.
I want my next extreme rollercoaster to be an Unleash the Archers themed coaster. Their artwork and music would be everywhere. Their artwork and music take me back to when I was a kid and winning Iron Maiden mirrors at the fair.
Thank you metal bro, i find now new band listen to!! 🤘🖤🤘First time hearing this band, and what a song and voice!! This was so good!! 🖤🤘🙂 And happy new year Mr. Rock N Roll!! 🤘🎇🎆
So glad you did this one, it’s my favorite UTA song. This is EVERYTHING Power Metal should be, just EPIC, I love it, fell in love with it from the first few guitar cords the first time I heard it.
I love this album. I purchased it the moment I first heard awakening. The whole album is amazing. That's awesome how she sent you a care package! She's one of my favorite singers.. I've met Tatiana already.. now I just need to meet Brittney and Floor then I'll have achieved a bucket list item of meeting my personal Metal Maiden Triumvirate.
This song is a personal treasure for me now. It nurtures all that I see as beautiful and powerful. So epically awesome. 😊 And I agree that art is also gorgeous. I feel like I am that eagle.
I know I'm late to hearing this but holy.. This is so beautiful and I feel the emotion, in your reaction too. And also, this song is so clearly showing influence from Iron maiden! Rock on
This is the last song of the Album with the same name Apex. Which begins with Awakening which you've reacted to (love your reactions btw). I feel like you should give this whole album a listen beginning with Awakening again since every song tells a different part of a story, with Apex being the end of the story. )) Happy 2020 & all the best to you Mr.RnR! \m/
Ive been liking them for a while. But this song really sticks out for me. The composition, execution, lyrics, vocals, all of it. It has a feeling and depth that really projects something.
I find it very interesting that you feel that this song is fight music. Or that it gets you pumped. This is an album I listen to while running, and this song definitely helps you pick up a bit after running for nearly an hour.
yes yes yes, frozen steel and dreamcrusher are their two most underrated probably...with honorable mention to daughters of winterstone and realm of tomorrow
Bro! I just realised: The "second intro," right after the first set of power cords, the guitars are playing the same notes as Brittney's vocal lines! Man...the more I hear from this band, the more I'm amazed! #MindBlown And Heath: Hope the "lockdown" is finding you well! Lastly, got a couple of requests: 1) Dreamcrusher -- THIS song is one of Brittney's best! 2) First Time Hearing: Alga by Ignea, a symphonic band from Ukraine that has a Middle Eastern flavor to it -- think Prince of Persia or Return of the Mummy. I KNOW you'll like this band!

Dude..I HIGHLY recommend anything from Demons of the AstroWaste album! Every album is great but that one really makes you wanna go to war with an axe in your hand!
The song is well-named, as I think it may be the peak of North American power metal. Perfection might not be technically possible, but it also may not technically be possible to get any better than this. Just the moods the song takes you through along its seemingly wandering path. Like a kind of magic. Like Ghost Love Score the first several times you hear it. Transports you beyond the bounds of mortal flesh, if only for a moment. Not many songs have had that effect on me.
Gardner De Aguiar absolutely, this album is front to back quality, it’s the rare album that has no misses, there is no song on it I haven’t listened to 10-15 times, best metal album of the decade in my book
Hey, Heath, my metal brother! Now that you've done Apex, I HIGHLY suggest Matriarch -- especially if you love Manowar or Iron Maiden. It's that...Bloody...AWESOME, I'm telling you! Have a Happy New Year, brother, and here's to more epic reactions in 2020! Note: The line "Can you follow me? Follow me to Apex?" Bro...I, only a few days ago, realized what the line is actually saying: If you have what it takes, Brittney is saying to follow her to the top -- the top of whatever mountain you might be climbing. And through her voice and the music, she'll help you get there. Just don't give up and lose your motivation. Great reaction as always! If you like this concept album might I suggest Coheed and Cambria's album "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Volume One". More rock than power metal but like Apex, every song tells the story as you go through the album. They even did a comic book tie in.
Knew you would like it. Love this song and this album. You have now listened to the first (awakening) and last (apex) songs of the Apex album. Definetly check out some more. Cleanse the Bloodlines, 10000 Against 1 and Matriarch are my favs.
JUST lost a Favorite Nephew to a Motorcycle Accident ,Am Escaping Realty and getting into my FAVORITE Metal band! GOD , WHAT A VOICE, SHE TAKES ME AWAY FROM ALL THIS BULLSHIT!! BRITTNEY KEEP ON ROCKIN GIRL, ILOVE YOUR VOICE!!!
You would probably lose your mind reacting to Tuska20 - The Anniversary Song (th-cam.com/video/nc8YSkGxsGA/w-d-xo.html). Tuska is the biggest open air metal festival in Finland.
The composer's love for Iron Maiden is obvious in the twin-guitar melodies. I've been saying for a while now that if Bruce Dickinson retired, Brittney would be my ideal replacement (because Floor Jansen is comfortable where she is with Nightwish). I don't think many fans would complain either.
Well it's about damn time, lol. This and Cleanse The Bloodlines are my favourites but you seriously need to listen to the whole album start to finish. It's amazing. And you know what I'm going to say next: if you love this, you will LOVE Lovebites - Shadowmaker. Because Miyako and Midori will melt your face. No, I'm not going to give up, lol.

Every time I hear Apex or Awakening I feel we should call them unleash the Riders instead of the Archers, with those galloping riffs. Totally would see it in a charge of the rohirrims haha
You’re gonna love Time Stands still from unleash the archers...same as Battlebeast, try listening to I want the world or into the night, if not straight to the heart (I’ll guarantee you’ll wanna go on a treadmill and run your butt off)
Kobra and the lotus "lost in the shadows" the Canadian answer to stairway to heaven? Once in a rare time a band will make an epic anthom that stays with you..... Check it out.
You should react to the whole album in order. Awakening was the opening track and Apex is the final track. The album in my opinion is on par with the quality of Awakening and Apex.
If you want a different, more melodic UTA song, check out Northwest Passage. It’s a majestic song! I really think you’ll love it and fall even further in love with Brittany’s voice, if that’s possible.
Hey Heath! Think you could be in Detroit on March 18?? Brittney and Unleash the Archers is playing Detroit, at St. Andrew's Hall, LIVE! And the ticket prices are something like $30-50, General Admission! I just found out about this awesome opportunity -- and I'm going to try and make it, if I can!

Unleash the Archers is a criminally underrated band, Britney's vocals are insane.
Dan Moore they’re my favorite metal band of the last 20 years, everyone should know their name, they’re so damn good
This is one of the best album closers I’ve heard in a long while.
Unleash the Archers is the best thing I've heard in months! Only discovered them during the covid issues, love the reactions!
This has to be my favorite song on the album. I listen to this on repeat on the way home sometimes. This song itself has a story with a beginning, middle, and end. LOVE IT!!!!!
Everyone watches Awakening, because it's rightly an excellent song... but DAMN if Apex isn't one of the best pieces of power metal ever written
