We stayed there back in the fall of 2019, lake view on the 6th floor dedicated 2 bedroom. It was very nice. The one thing I will say is the blinds on the sliders do a fabulous job of blocking the sun light in the morning. Room was completely dark. I eat breakfast on the balconies when we go, the sun is so strong there it was nearly impossible to sit on the balcony even with sunglasses on first thing in the morning.

We're planning on buying a resale contract and have written off Grand Floridian as too expensive, but man this looks nice. We may have to save a few extra pennies to make it work
Have you ever been able to test the level of comfort of the pull out beds from the sofa, I know the grand villa had one in the movie room. Wife and I will be sleeping on one in a few months
I saw the sign in the hallway that said Open House, but do all the DVC resorts have Open Houses that are available for the public to view rooms at any time? Do you have to make an appointment?
All the DVC resorts have at least one room they show for a tour. Some show the Grand villa and others just show a 1 br. If you’re on property via walking or Disney transport you can just stroll on up to the DVC desk and they’ll let you know when the next available time is(one party at a time is the only thing). If your a local driving 100% make an appointment by calling DVC preview center because otherwise it’s a cointoss to park any given day.
Disney will never again put the quality of building materials into a DVC that they put into the grand floridian dvc villas. It is the only property at Disney that truly rivals the Four Seasons.

The Grand is our favorite. And even though it's not our aesthetic, there is just something about that resort!

This is my home resort and we stay in a 2 bedroom. I love it!
We’re staying at the DVC tower in a one bedroom suite in September. We’ve never been able to get into the GF until now. Have owned since’07!
I really want them to build another Epcot resort. There’s plenty of new DVC around bay lake

I've always thought of GF as being a "stuffy" resort, but these rooms tours are making me question this opinion! I would totally stay here!

The pull out sofa beds are decent - not as comfy as the hotel beds but they do the trick. Tested in the BLT grand villa
Is it weird that I like the decor of the bathrooms better than the rest of the suite? The rest looks like grandma’s house.
