Replacing RV Cabinet Struts

Replacing your RV cabinet struts can be a cost effective way of improving the daily livability of your rolling home.
Our old struts, the original hardware that came with our 1993 Fleetwood Bounder have slowly given out and no longer keep the doors up.
We've replaced our old struts with these:

We also chose to replace the supplied mounting brackets with these:
www.amazon.com...
The struts came with all of the needed screws and instructions. We were able to use the existing holes from the original struts, along with drilling some new ones for the newer, larger brackets.

As an RV owner there's always things to tinker with - nice little upgrades here. Love these modifications to keep the doors secure but safe (the clip of getting hit in the head was hilarious by the way.
