    Rachel, you have a lovely, soothing voice, and I enjoy listening to you. I also am happy that I found someone like me who has a bunch of different projects going on at the same time. Right now I have two crochet projects, a granny square afghan and a filet crochet Halloween table runner. I have several quilts in progress, both hand and machine, and a cross stitch project as well. You are quite an inspiration to me! I love your channel. Oh, and the mouse cross stitch pillow turned out beautifully. Your sister will enjoy it very much.

    That QAYG project is still one of my favorites. Great low volume fabrics! Look forward to seeing your Liberty sawtooth stars. I don't cross stitch or do much crochet, but enjoyed seeing those other projects of yours. Blessings.

      I think the QAYG is my favourite too, so easy to pick up when you fancy stitching.

    I started a quilt as you go rectangle because I seen your videos. I am making the rectangles just a couple a day. Haven’t seen them together yet. Thank you for teaching this method.

    I would love a tutorial on your hand sewn quilt block. I’m intrigued, because I always thought that it had to be paper pieced. I’m fairly new to quilting. Lovely projects on the go.

    Oh Rachel I soooo want to learn how to knit socks! I have tried many times and just cant get on with a circular needle, I find it complicated. Practice, practice and more practice I suppose. Yes I also find it very sad that small independent haberdashery's are having to close. There's nothing like having a good nosey at all the 'bits and bobs' they sell and the friendship you make too of course. Good luck with the baby blanket!!🤞x

    • @stitchwithrachel
      @stitchwithrachel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I hope you manage to master them! Have you tried magic loop method instead of the small circular needles? I agree about local haberdashery shops... even just the smell sometimes! Xx

    Love your 4” striped project. Suggest the background strips be a different width to the stripes.
    VERY cute baby blanket!!🎉. I think you’re halfway-newborns are quite tiny!!

      Thank you, oooh maybe I could do 6 inch background strips instead then. Thank you for the tip x

    Nice to see what you’re up to! Looking forward to seeing how your stars quilt turns out as it comes together :). It really gives me an itch to start making stars as well, but I’m currently trying to be a “good quilter” and finish all the blocks for my bow tie quilt I am making using Liberty Emily belle colors and a low volume white. Normally I start all the things but that also means nothing really gets finished, and that is a shame.

    • @stitchwithrachel
      @stitchwithrachel  ปีที่แล้ว

      I am exactly the same as you, love to start new things but recenty I've been finishing things and its a nice buzz.

    Oh no! Why is your local quilt shop closing down? That makes my heart sad.

    • @stitchwithrachel

      I know its so sad! Her husband sadly passed away 18 months ago and she needs a job with a guaranteed income as she is now the sole income. She has another job and was trying to juggle both but she can't anymore, so sad.
