And yes, vocally, and in all ways, 89’s and 90’s….as they are the epitome of power metal, but up a bunch. So turbo metal, and super epic as a result
Especially as a country artist, I'd be really interested in your thoughts on the song "Metaphor" by In Flames - a traditionally melodic death metal band, but they'd changed a lot over the years by this song. Country music is the thing I feel that it's closest to, but maybe not the "pop country" that we're more used to seeing nowadays.

Yeah, he does like a younger Weird Al to me as well. But I’ve been a Weird Al fan from the jump, so any comparison to him is a compliment.
dont overlook the drumming he gives dave lombardo of slayer a run for his money.

I get what you’re saying, in general about guitarists…but Herman and Co are the man. Epic, and gove solos like no one else ever could, they took power metal, multiplied it by at least 100 times, it’s now turbo metal, no one credit me for the phrase of turbo metal please, it’s an adaptation of a phrase of Mr Tex, of the Black Pants Legion, or BPL, they have a podcast/do stuff here on YT, related to games, sci fi, battle tech. No I’m not part of them, just love their work, but Mr Tex and Co brought about the turbo designation for things, as far as I know, I credit them for it, it can just sound so good and right, especially now. All credit goes to Mr Tex and the BPL.
That comment about the singer was made about Fabio Lione by another TH-cam lol because of the curly hair I guess
