Vinny is buzzing along so beautifully. Yay. Easy for people to say "go buy a new van". It is not THEM paying for a new van. Tell them "send money". As long as Vinnie is behaving and repairs aren't too costly???? My car is an '06 but still doing beautifully....so no complaints. My son drives it. I can't drive any longer.
Hi, you beauties. Vinnie has served you very well. You are comfortable in him, with all of your gear in familiar places. You will be letting poor Vinnie and your viewers down if he leaves the channel! He is part of your family. Go well all of you, from a big fan of yours!
We do really appreciate being back here in Spain and not going to lie, the weather really does make you feel happy.. 30 degrees again this weekend and it’s so lovely after spending the winter up north! Thanks so much for watching..😁
I did a self build here in spain about 3 years ago and you really don’t need expensive power tools. Maybe a jigsaw, sander, drill etc. I agree, its not easy at the side of the road, but I’ve seen the Spanish do just that in some of the small towns near me. Hardest part was finding a decent van, that wasn’t all battered up as they tend to be in spain. If you go down this route, just let me know and ill happily give you all the help and advice i can. I bought everything here in spain, either amazon, local bricos, and some camping stores. Just don’t let vinnie overhear your plans. Great video by the way
Like you guys I tend to hang onto my vehicles until something pushes me over the edge. Like your axle would have convinced me. I drove a ‘56 Chevy station wagon from ‘73-2010, doing a full rebuild in ‘89. My kids loved it and it was pretty reliable because it was a very simple car. The most techie thing was the power windows. I get your affection for Vinnie. Hang in there. I’ve been watching vids of homes in Italy. It looks like a nice place to ride a motorcycle, not so much for camper van touring.
🇬🇧🦋🚐yah sunshine gorgeous beaches ... lovely furbabies and gorgeous couple ... Vinny is doing you both proud ,stands out from other campers , we all have hiccups as we get older ... yes you are rebuilding him ... like 6 million dollar van ... plus you know what is fixed , take care , yes save energy for Benidorm , you will love old Benidorm ... new Benidorm it is like a mini Vegas by the sea think of Margate on steroids .. keep safe lulu and Paul xx 🦋🇬🇧🚐💕
We spent from July 1995 almost all the time between Ondara, Denia, Orba Valley, Calpe, Altea, Albir, Benidorm, La Nucia, Polop, and Villiojosa. We rode on a regular basis between Calpe and Villiojosa. We had 5 years on Cap Negret Campsite which is now 3 Apartment blocks between where you parked at the music centre and Cap Negret Hotel just before the Altea bridge. We did 2 Summer season's doing Karaoke in Benidorm 1995/96 and retired in October 1996. We used to ride to all the repeater stations and there is a nice ride to the Lighthouse in Albir and the Cross in the mountain between Albir & Benidorm. Also Terra Mitica.
you mentioning Calpe & Altea - brings back memories. My Mum and Step-father used to have a "mobile home" (static caravan - could never get my head round that, but I digress...). Visited there loads of times. Calpe's fish restaurants are fabulous. The sea is amazing at Altea - albeit a bit rough - but lovely. And when you said Valencia, I nearly cried. I should've been there a couple of weeks back to visit said mother above. But I tested positive for COVID on the Thursday evening and was due to fly on the Saturday morning. Couldn't go out to them as they are elderly and vulnerable. I was one very upset and p'd off person. Looking for flight at the moment but they are really expensive... Looks so warm. You guys are great and I've been checking all day to see this video. Safe travels and hopefully not long before you're home!! Thanks for the memories xxx
I actually think you are on the site where they're caravan used to be!!! They used to be able to use the facilities at that hotel. It's a popular place for Spanish retirees in the Summer (or used to be). Blooming heck...
Repairs are still WAY more affordable than a new van. New vehicles are made of plastic, entirely electronic, more complex, and require computers and mechanics to fix. I would LOVE to find a hardy diesel van. Vinny is worth gold, guys!
Back on the road on the sunny side, looking at land to buy, and now imagining to build a new van. I am only watching your videos, but I am enjoying all the adventure with you.
We were there back in November. It is a lovely area, not what you would expect being so close to Benidorm. I think Altea was in the very first Benidorm programme as it was where the middle class couple were supposed to have stayed. You can walk along the front from Altea to Albir. At Albir you can walk up to the lighthouse through a national park. You get fantastic views. Also I have seen vans parked up in Albir. The inland villages are also worth visiting. Reminded us of rural Wales!
Glad vinnies brakes are now sorted. A self build in uk starts from £5,000 for a small van, so Spain seems a cheaper option. Just carry on with Vinnie until he's had enough, don't think he's ready to retire 😢. Love the drone footage❤
Hi😊,that little red runner you called bunting is a Toran and they are usually hung above doors and windows,I have one above my kitchen window. Lovely to see you in warmer climes,I'm jell as it is windy and cold in blighty.😮. That meal looks 😋 yummy.xx
It took me 3 years to find my van. Each one is so entirely different; with it's own character. Once you bond with em' (young or old) you'll fight tooth & nail to keep them going. They really are 'part of the family'.
Hello beautiful people ! Totally understand why you prefer retro van, these motorhome look at some cold room on truck☹️ (i hope what you sée what i mean). Vinnie give me memories, in the past with my man. We had a Ford transit in 90' and travel with it and our 2 dogs. See you next week lovers 😘
Hi guys, My Vaneroo is 52 years old and everyone told me to get rid of him but over the last 10 years I’ve slowly got him fixed up and now most things have been done .. things go wrong in new vans especially with all the electronics! I’d do what you want to do but you’ve invested in Vinny and he’s invested in you 😂❤xx
Hi guys, unbelievable that weather, what a change in temperature. Now, Vinny is definitely part of the family. I think he's wonderful, and you're right Nick, "better the devil you know" Enjoy Benidorm guys. xx
I love chestnuts! I recently had truffle oil and mushroom ravioli with chopped up chestnuts and I made a sauce with pumpkin and carrot soup. It was delicious 😋
Hi There Nick and Sarah and Doggies Hope you Are well , Great video and Great drone filming , It looks lovely there ,And wow 25 degrees there its starting to warm up , Nice dog friendly beach , so Thanks for sharing , Take care All , 🌞☀🌞.
Aww it is so nice to see the sun. I live on the East Coast of the US in New Jersey and I am dying for some beach weather. Happy Travels so glad Vinnie and Nick are feeling better😘
I just started watching the video but I think it’s really exciting that you guys are almost to 60,000 subscribers now. Yay! It’s about darn time. You know I love your channel. I never understood why others didn’t follow along faster. 🥰 I am with Nick the devil you know is is better than the devil you don’t know. The price of new vans and new homes nowadays is absolutely ridiculous.
You should keep Vinnie, look at some of the other Vloggers who have nearly new vans with MAJOR and expensive problems. We have an 08 Vivaro and have fixed a few things, but the older the vans the simpler they are and easier to fix and they usually get you there. You have no turbo/intercooler, no electronics, all of which go wrong, just accept you will have a few things to fix from time to time.
and having a laugh (and cry) about hell on Spain. I had to check out the party town on Corfu as well and was so glad that that was a tiny section of the island
Hi loves such a lovely video 🎉 so glad you’re now in the sun☀️ Am taken back 50yrs when we stayed in Altea !!! There was only the beautiful beach, our villa was up near the mountains. I would walk down through the village to the one basic shop for bread in the mornings. I hardly recognised the built up areas there now. It was lovely great spot for sunsets. Best id ever seen. Enjoy your park up. Doggies looking happy 💕🐾🐾💕🐾🐾💕 Hope all goes well with your check up Nick 🍀 am very fond of Vinnie & it’s a huge expense for you to replace him. He’s doing so well & getting you travelling safely. 💙🚐 💙 Take good care & enjoy 🎉 hugs 💗💙🐶🐶xxxx
With a self build you can make sure it is properly insulated, which is for us ( full timers ) one of the most important things living in an extreme climate, New Zealand, as your travels are as well.
You are right motorhomes are really expensive ours cost us £75,000 pounds, the main reason is that I have a bone condition called none sclerosing bone remodelling, it's a rare side effect of osteoarthritis that started in my thirties it causes huge bone cysts that then cause the bone to break. I've done my right ankle twice my left once and the worst one was my femur, which just snapped when I turned round, leading to eight weeks in hospital being shunted from one to another hospital while they got a diagnosis, it resulted in a hip replacement it's horrible when you are younger and you get this, my spines not good so less of the pity party, I just need a really comfortable home on wheels hence the price. Your travels look fantastic, love all the scenery and the doggies look happy. Hope you get better soon Nick safe travels all of you. By the way Iove ethnic stuff our motorhome is full of it and our house.
Great to see you in lovely Spain once more. I'm leaving for Malaga next week after 4 months in frosty Cornwall - cant wait to see the sun. Love your dear little dogs!
I live in Edinburgh and I saw two different people building their vans on a street in Edinburgh outside thier flats I guess . It was quite exciting to watch them build and see the progress over the time.
Foresty Forest did his self build in carparks and i have seen similar self builds on YT, personally i was going to buy a second hand camper for days away hill walking in Scotland but have been priced out of the market so i now sleep in the back of my Duster, seats folded enough room to get a big thick piece of foam and a sleeping bag mind you first time out -5 and frost in the inside , but warmer weather is coming soon so that shouldnt be an issue, cheers from Scotland, and keep up the awesome vlogs👍
Just a thought. If you did want to build a camper, I built mine by buying a caravan that the body was no good but the interior was great and use the caravan to build the camper. My camper is like walking into a caravan.
Wow . That Costa Blanca coastline is just beautiful.. and the village area... I need to win a BIG lottery. Haahaa. All in all.. time to re-charge at home sweet home guys. Time to heal.
Hi guys, what a lovely video yet again. You have been to the places that we go to Altea is so beautiful, they have a great candle shop there, they make them in the shop worth a visit. You made us laugh about going to Benidorm we still haven’t been and been going to Spain for a many years 😂😂, we also say shall we go today we want to go but still haven’t perhaps one day eh!!!!. Anyway thanks for sharing this with us, take care
From Deb…Highly recommended Foresty Forest TH-cam channel!!!! Simon lives in cleverly self tricked out van, great cook, crazy stunning video of hikes in snowy mountain ranges and deserts with his adorable Jack Russel terrier. Breathtaking epic footage…No exaggeration! Wowza!! Love you guys ❤.
Hi you two. Only just found you recently, enjoying your travels. We only about 45mins to hour away from you in this video. Beautiful part of Spain, our home for the last 17 years. Take care, safe travels . Patricia ❤️💙
Hi Nick Sarah, I just seen your latest vlog very nice, lovely sunshine. I'm sure you love it, great drone shots nice one Nick 👍Totally agree with you with regards to vinny, I reckon he's going to be a new van anyway soon with all the parts you put on it, no need to buy a new van in my opinion 👍 looking forward to the Benidorm visit😊 keep up the good work. Safe travelling take care❤ Steve back in Wales now🏴, bit of a shock to the system rain and cold weather😢 Loved my two months in manilva👍🇪🇸❤xx
You skipped the beautiful coastline of the Costa Azahar, in the area behind the coast are so many nice places for you to explore. And many places for sale! Enjoy the sun! 🌞🌡😎
I agree with you. I've been living in my van for 6 months - Sicily and Spain. I must say I saw Benidorm from a distance and by-passed. I have another 6 months in the UK before returning home. Enjoy x
Nooooo! you can't get rid of Vinnie!! Transit vans have ears you know! He'll have heard every word........lol, Lovely place you're staying at at the moment, those beaches are like WOW! enjoy.... :)
Like us and other motorvaners this 22/23 winter you have the costa blanca bug. We loved it. Came back 10 days ago. Like you it was hot. I only had jumpers. Luckily I did have some lacey vests with me. We stayed in the many motorvan sites in this area. It is wonderful up in the mountains behind too. We will be going back. Already booked a site for xmas. We loved the area, the busy in winter bit (despite the fact we are loners) the weather. We just loved it. Not for the summer but out of season good. And the amount of north Europeans, crazy. And all the old towns as well, just like Andulucia.
Regarding updating your van.The only major issue with the van you have is rust underneath. The engines are bulletproof they are well known for doing 300 k miles plus 👍
Wow what a beautiful place that is 👍 iv been to various places in Spain over the years . Ps . Definitely keep Vinny,he will keep going for a long time now you've had those problems fixed 👍👍 Iv had my old 03 plate Vauxhall Astra van for 13 years apart from a few wear n tear items it's been as good as gold ,I do all my own maintenance and repairs which helps with cost
Most of the time it is cheaper to keep what you have and fix it when needed. It is just inconvenient. Remember you can have trouble with a new van also.
I think I would give Benidorm a wide berth, like the peace and quiet of the places you seem to find. I've been watching since the time you camped out on the roof your place in Adulicia😂, you looked then to have such lovely time. Take care, fuss the doggies for me.
Nice, I used to love going to Altea, quite cute village. Yes boys not impressed with the dog beach, they do like to roll and chase each other and couldn't do it there. Glad you are having a good time in the"hot " weather whilst we have quite a lot of rain now. Take care all of you.
Looked lovely there and nice to hear you say you feel like you are on holiday. I can’t imagine how frustrated you’ve both been with the breakdowns and waiting.
Ah I was hoping you guys would stop in javea. Next costal town to denia. Stunning little place. Been here 23years. We will be off on our travels across spain shortly. Love your content. We really enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work and enjoy
Charlie and his ‘tippy head’ whilst listening to you guys talking ❤️ he is just adorable 🥰🥰🥰
Little Charlie is like a hug on four paws.
He’s the sweetest little doggie ever! 🥰.. Thanks so much for watching..😁
Vinny is buzzing along so beautifully. Yay. Easy for people to say "go buy a new van". It is not THEM paying for a new van. Tell them "send money". As long as Vinnie is behaving and repairs aren't too costly????

Sun, Sea, Sand 🌞 🏖 Lucky you ! It’s cold and windy 🌬 here in the UK ☹️
No wonder you guys left the UK lol 😂 👍
They are one lucky couple , if only we all could do you same 😢
Same in New England also. (((Brrr)))
We do really appreciate being back here in Spain and not going to lie, the weather really does make you feel happy.. 30 degrees again this weekend and it’s so lovely after spending the winter up north! Thanks so much for watching..😁

Charlie listens.....and understands everything you say......
After so many [spooky] empty villages along the way... it's really nice to see some normal activity going on & sunny beach life. Like, a big relief!
Oh yes! We totally agree! Thanks so much for watching..😁
Repairs are still WAY more affordable than a new van. New vehicles are made of plastic, entirely electronic, more complex, and require computers and mechanics to fix. I would LOVE to find a hardy diesel van. Vinny is worth gold, guys!
Nick and Vinnie need MOTs and then off again ! Thanks for sharing guys.
That is a beautiful coastal place. Loved the blue sea. 🥰🥰
😊😊
Part of your charm is vini... It will be fine..carry on..love long and prosper..Sid.
Spain looks beautiful. Love the doggies.
I'm loving seeing all the new places that I otherwise wouldn't see so thankyou xx
Those little cameo shots of your little doggies are so cute to watch : D
🥰🥰
Always a joy to spend time with you. Glad you're so much better.
awwwww, Thankyou☺️☺️xx
Love the slowmo Charlie strut down the dog beach!! 😍
❤❤
Don't get rid of Vinny!!!! He's part of the family!!!!! Vote for Vinny! He's got lots of adventures left in him!!!!
I really like Vinnie! He has a lot of personality!
Love the look on Charlies face "who are they talking to ? there's no one there" made me laugh
You really are a great cook, such imagination 😋
Nick !! KNOCK the door before ripping it open on Sarah. The graces which vanish when a male lives together with a woman.
Ah- a dose of sunshine and smiles ❤
One thing after another with Vinny and they only use it to go to their local shops in Spain, Portugal, France,Britain etc etc etc 😃
Winter, the algarve, spring autumn, south of france, summer the UK. Love you guys
Glad vinnies brakes are now sorted. A self build in uk starts from £5,000 for a small van, so Spain seems a cheaper option. Just carry on with Vinnie until he's had enough, don't think he's ready to retire 😢. Love the drone footage❤
Spain isn’t a cheaper option. The 400-700 euro is just for paperwork.
awwwww, Thankyou.. We will! ☺️☺️xx
Wow the colour of that sea was amazing ,looking forward to the next video 💖💖
😊😊
Hi😊,that little red runner you called bunting is a Toran and they are usually hung above doors and windows,I have one above my kitchen window. Lovely to see you in warmer climes,I'm jell as it is windy and cold in blighty.😮. That meal looks 😋 yummy.xx
We really enjoy watching your vlogs. Glad your feeling better nic..love Cosa blanca, enjoy your travels x
Loved the video, those bikes are so perfect. You found some beautiful places in between the madness.
You know what you got, and with all new parts ..... 😀
It took me 3 years to find my van. Each one is so entirely different; with it's own character. Once you bond with em' (young or old) you'll fight tooth & nail to keep them going. They really are 'part of the family'.
This is so true! Thanks so much for watching..😁

Costa Blanca is phenomenal….. we spend the winters down there. Enjoy.

So glad you are safely home guys. Bet the doggies are pleased as well. Good luck with Vinny next week. See you Thursday 🥳🎉🍷💕
I love chestnuts! I recently had truffle oil and mushroom ravioli with chopped up chestnuts and I made a sauce with pumpkin and carrot soup. It was delicious 😋
Love that doggy’s nose!

Thanks so much for watching..😁
Thanks for your vid 😇💟💟💟 Love and bless you guys.
I love the outdoor culture. Cold places you huddle by the fire but when it’s warm, everyone spills outside, especially in the evening.
😊😊
Talk about leaving us on a cliff hanger! Looking forward to seeing Benidorm with you both.
and having a laugh (and cry) about hell on Spain. I had to check out the party town on Corfu as well and was so glad that that was a tiny section of the island

I live in Edinburgh and I saw two different people building their vans on a street in Edinburgh outside thier flats I guess . It was quite exciting to watch them build and see the progress over the time.
Yeah I guess we could manage to build the van parked on the street.. Would be E better to have a driveway though! Thanks so much for watching..😁
Would miss Vinny hes such a big character like you guys , keep in trucking Vinny!👍🏻💕
Long Live Vinny!! 😊
yay!😁👍🏻
I love VinnyI think you should keep any for as long as you can he's been good just a little bumps in the road but he's amazing

Thankyou so much Patricia. It really is such a lovely part of Spain, looking forward to exploring more ❤️ x
Safe travelling take care❤ Steve back in Wales now🏴, bit of a shock to the system rain and cold weather😢
Loved my two months in manilva👍🇪🇸❤xx
You skipped the beautiful coastline of the Costa Azahar, in the area behind the coast are so many nice places for you to explore. And many places for sale! Enjoy the sun! 🌞🌡😎
Nice to see you both loved woching please never give up
I agree with you. I've been living in my van for 6 months - Sicily and Spain. I must say I saw Benidorm from a distance and by-passed. I have another 6 months in the UK before returning home. Enjoy x
Nooooo! you can't get rid of Vinnie!! Transit vans have ears you know! He'll have heard every word........lol, Lovely place you're staying at at the moment, those beaches are like WOW! enjoy.... :)
Love the chill music!!!
Another great vlog I look forward to them.
Another great video guys scenery was beautiful look forward to your exploits in Benidorm take care Nick hope your looking after yourself xxPat
Thankyou so much Pat ❤️ x
Regarding updating your van.The only major issue with the van you have is rust underneath. The engines are bulletproof they are well known for doing 300 k miles plus 👍
Great too see you all back in the sun, save journey home ❤
Thankyou so much ❤️ x
Finally …I’ve been looking forward to you two heading home to that beautiful house….the terrace is waiting for you to get it ready for summer
awwwww, Thankyou☺️☺️xx
Wow what a beautiful place that is 👍 iv been to various places in Spain over the years .
Ps . Definitely keep Vinny,he will keep going for a long time now you've had those problems fixed 👍👍
Iv had my old 03 plate Vauxhall Astra van for 13 years apart from a few wear n tear items it's been as good as gold ,I do all my own maintenance and repairs which helps with cost
So good to see you in summer warmth. Dinner looks yummy. I love toasted bread with fresh tomatoes and olive oil too.
Going with the flow not a bad way to live guys, enjoy.
Thankyou so much ❤️ x
Lovely video 😊thank you 😊love Benidorm 😊
Nice, I used to love going to Altea, quite cute village. Yes boys not impressed with the dog beach, they do like to roll and chase each other and couldn't do it there. Glad you are having a good time in the"hot " weather whilst we have quite a lot of rain now. Take care all of you.
Thankyou so much, yeah the boys definitely prefer sand over pebble beaches! Sending love to you ❤️ x
Looked lovely there and nice to hear you say you feel like you are on holiday. I can’t imagine how frustrated you’ve both been with the breakdowns and waiting.
It’s all good! Thanks so much for watching..😁
Excellent stuff get yourself home and chill for a bit bless you looking forward to the next one x
Cart beat the old transit they just keep going 👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧
