Outstanding video. Thank you for lying out the pros and cons of living in Southlake. As latino myself, I don't see diversity as a con but as an opportunity to be more successful in life.
My wife and I went to the area to check out school and houses during last year's 4th of July and, we were amazed by how friendly the community is (people everywhere telling us to move in lol). Even thou the house prices are similar to the ones here in CA, you get a bigger house and amazing school district which is a plus for a family.
Quick question, how are the property taxes nowadays? I saw that they may get reduced due to a bill signed by the governor but not sure how that would work. I have some friends that moved to Frisco and they told us that property taxes are ~22k per year (I think that may be the escrow which includes insurance lol).

Just choose Southlake and the School district, then the amount of the property. You are right though, amazing school district and Southlake is a close community.

PS: After checking out the website, the property tax amount seems fair. I think there's a discount from the Carroll ISD as well that I saw a while ago that may be taken into account as well. Thank you again for your help!

I think the biggest con is older homes that need remodeling.
Thanks Darrell for watching and commenting. Line Highland Park where the homes are land locked and being in a desirable location many have bought homes and either completely gutted them or even torn them down and rebuilt since the land is so valuable. This is happening in Southlake as well.
