My electric bill in summer highest last year was 270 dollars considering my wife washes many times during the week is not bad , my temperature is always set to 73 in summer , my wife makes food 5 or 6 days out of 7 days so yeah ofc as she mentioned having a Tesla your electric bill will stack up. We don't have a pool, and our home is 2500 Sq ft. HOA I pay 300 for 6 months includes a large pool and gym . Tool tags depending where you live you might need mainly ppl that work in construction workers needed it ofc other jobs might require. I live in Dallas and haven't use I tool tag in years , air port yes you do pay as she mentioned but I also don't go to the air port every week 🙃. With Taxes , I lived in South Carolina before so use this as a reference , I had to pay State Taxes and property taxes on vehicles and our home as well , so living in SC with my wife we paid 11k in State Taxes, plus 2 vehicles 1.5k in property taxes and the house was 2k in property taxes , in total 14.5k. When doing taxes at the end of the year you would think well i will get some money back payig all this state taxes , well my wife and I with those 11k that we paid only received 5k but including federal and state taxes the government pays that separately 2k in federal and 3k in state taxes claiming 3 kids vs here in Texas we dont pay State Taxes and still receive 3.4k from federal taxes. Living here in Texas with my wife and kids a brand new home 8.5k in property taxas , no state taxes and no property taxas on vehicles, however we do pay registration and inspection for our 2 vehicles that's about 180 dollars for 2 vehicles. Doing the math SC with state taxes vs no state taxas in Texas my wife and I still keep a little over 4k from taxes at the end of the year. Not to mention that the house we had in SC was only 1500sq ft imagine my property taxes on a 2500 probably 3.5k instead of 2k that I was paying 🤦🏽‍♂️

Airport, get dropped off/picked up at the Car rental Center, way cheaper, no toll for airport.

A spray foamed/radiant barrier conditioned attic space house is a must. New construction workmanship is garbage though, get a good inspection.

california is utter shit and paradise at the same time. im born and raised here in cali. the water is three houses from my house. i still live here today. there are bum and junky camps everywhere. everywhere. it truly is disgusting that we as a society allow junky camps to continue in the name of compassion. for the people who dont have junkies in their neighborhoods and their houses are paid for, and live on the coast. then yes cali is a paradise. there is alot to do in cali and the weather is always perfect. 24/7/365. as she mentioned in the video. if you dont fit into that catagory, then cali is shit. in past decades people came to cali to make their lifes fortune. nobody comes to cali now to make their lifes fortune. in fact just the opposite. while we do have a high population here in cali, an entrepreneur is more likely to have life success in a mid sized mid west town than cali.

Stop running away! Clean up YOUR mess at home.

The infrastructure can't support the growth. Esp with developers building further north, and anything west on 380. All these suburbs use the same main arteries, north dalla tollway, 121, Preston. It's already got sometimes worse traffic than Dallas proper, and frisco's streets are wider and newer. With the development of Univeral/Disney/golf course, make my words, you've got a disaster waiting to happen. The crime has been creeping in. It's always novel to take a good thing and turn it to crap.

Flower Mound small town feel? Sorry , I disagree. Flower Mound started growing in 1981 and never stopped. (I lived on the border of Lewisville) Now much like Carrollton, Coppell, Little Elm and many others, it is busy place and very populated. Crime is on the rise, traffic is a nightmare for commuters regardless of which was you go. Ponder, Krum, Aubrey are in the change process with over 5300 homes built built right now. Small town feel would be north of Decatur or Sanger now.

If you don't want people to move to your state, then tell you governor Abbot to stop courting hi-tech CEOs and luring them to your state with lower corporate taxes. There is a negative for every positive in this moving from California. Not only your property taxes are going up, your affordable housing is no longer, your traffic jams, lack of water, environmental issues...but... there are issues with schools, childcare, healthcare... on top of your traditions and values. Local Texans have been suing Elon Musk with his Space X and his Tesla factories. If you don't want them there... then raise the corporate taxes like California did.

If you move to the rio grande valley - is far more affordable, next to Mexico and in the border airport flights are cheap

Mesquite also has the original highway Dallas first had. The highway that goes through fair park is military. Same street that goes from the newly built suburbs to downtown, never have to take the highway and deal with traffic.
