- We went to pick up a marriage license at a county clerk office. We decided to do the legal marriage first before we have a wedding because of many reasons. We went there to just pick up a marriage license, but little did we know that we decided to just marry then and there.
After the quick ceremony, I kinda felt bad that my kids were not there. Even though we will do a real wedding with all our friends and family, I felt like I was betraying my kids and not include them in this moment.
However, this is super exciting because this is now a new chapter of our life and we are officially and legally a married couple.
In the next video, we will show you the girls' reaction to our marriage.

Something about rush and spontaneous marriages I don't trust😬...
You all can call me a hater if you want to. But I'm observant, and I listen. Chris is a bit controlling and Lilly is naive and should research what she doesn't understand and not just taking her man's word for an explanation. How have you been married before Lilly and not know about the marriage license process? Chris full well came with the intentions of getting married that day, so this wasn't as spontaneous as some of you'd like to think. He almost let it slip twice, one when they were pulling up he said here we go...this is where we're going to do our(almost said do our marriage)...you know...get our marriage license. Then he said who wouldn't feel good when you're getting marriage(almost said married) license? It's indicating rushed, you just got engaged a few days prior. You explained that the license only last 30 days, but when you told the girls in the next video, you said the wedding would be next year(really 2024 since this was the end of 2023). So why would you get a license if you didn't intend on getting married within the 30 day time-frame?? Because you went in planning to get married that day. You didn't want to step away to talk and put Lily on the spot where she was afraid to protest to wait and come back in front of the lady. I hope I'm wrong and you really are a good guy and don't break Lily's heart.
I completely understand where you're coming from because I feel as though everything was rushed. But they're in love and they both love each other, i just hope that this lasts because I don't want to see her hurt again.

@@trishalachell & not trying to hate on Chris but he just gives me a funny vibe. Like in the beginning when they announced that they were dating; he was hoping that she’d get pregnant. Their relationship is nothing i should worry about but everything is just being rushed. Nor am I prying on their downfall but if any was to get hurt the most outta that relationship it would be her and her kids.
But what I do see is two people who love each other right now and I hope nothing but the best for them.
I didnt notice those slip-ups but I got the same overall feeling, that he intended to just get married that day. I feel he intends to drive a wig between her and her daughters and going behind their back to marry does that.
@suse9313 Right, because truth be told, they could have checked them out of school early to be a part of it. But that's not what he really wanted. It's all about him, and he should understand having been married twice w/children, and the story about his mom remarrying and how he felt(if that's true) that Lily needed to discuss this with her girls. And prepared them for the name change before, not after doing it. It was selfish and insensitive on both their parts. And I didn't like once they shared their feelings about the name change, he goes into you can call me dad or Chris is still fine, but if you want to say hey dad that's fine. Like no, right now they're calling you some other things in their head. Stop trying to take advantage of their father not being there, slow down, and let things transpire naturally.

Tbh at the start I was really sceptical of Chris. So far he has proven hes right for Lily, good to Lily and great with the kids.
In the small time they have been together compared to the EX I have seen more happiness, fun, laughter, communication,support etc for each other in this relationship than the other!.
