Great video, as usual. I was surprised that G3 Catty Noir was missing from your list, especially after you had such a beautiful moment with her during your unboxing video. I do you remember, along with other collectors, that her outfit could have been better, perhaps that's why she was missing? I agree the outfit was sub par in comparison to Venus, who I also loved, but the face was so pretty and her curvy body type was a great contribution to the G3 line. Yeah she was a contender for this list FOR SURE but it was def the clothing that kept her off. I’m hoping so so much we get another doll of her that can focus a bit more on clothes cause I still love her 🥹 happy new year to you too!

Honestly, same. I feel like the original bodies are good for repaints, but I love the thicker body mould for G3. I have a couple of monster highs for repaints, but I might buy one of the g3 ones to keep as is as they are a big improvement imo.
Same. I’m beginning to own the creeproductions of g1 because their designs are soo amazing but after owning the Wednesday doll. The body type isn’t my favorite to hold and play with. It’s like playing w an insect

I love the MH Core Refresh, the Fear Book, G3 core Venus, Spectra and Jinafire, but the top, the best, and the most gore-geous doll is the Fang Vote Year of the Dragon Jinafire🎉

I was broke at the time of the fang vote Jinafire so I missed out big time especially since Jinafire is one of my all time faves but as of right now I just purchased 4 new MH Gen 1 dolls and I couldn’t be happier! They’re all in box too and found them at a local store. So today’s a good day :D
Yes, you do need to keep looking at Barbie more. There's been some pretty good improvements over the last couple years. Even some hidden gems nobody talks about.
Spectra...I didnt know the G3 was coming & her Haunt Couture was on sale, so I got that doll. But then right after that, her G3 doll releases. Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered getting the HC version. Her G3 is close enough.
Wasn't a Fang Club members when Jinafire was being voted on, but I so wish I was & got her. I'm a member now, but doesn't matter..lol. she's sooo good ! I hope i can get her from a reseller some day.

If this list was done for 2 years ago or so there would've been many more doll brands making the top 10. It's honestly sad to see how many good doll lines we have lost or are nearly loosing. But love how MH has killed it this year same with Barbie 🎀💀
I wish I liked g3 fearbook more I was initially excited for Drac, Twyla & Toralei but I don’t know when I saw them in person at Target I wasn’t vibing with them I might eventually try 1 or more if I find a good sale. Love refresh Lagoona I don’t have refresh Cleo yet but she’s tempting me cause she’s only $12.99 right now. Love Venus. My complaint with Abby was the poly hair so I did reroot 1 of mine since I think I ended up with 2 of her. I do want to get a spare Venus, Spectra, Catty & Jinafire to reroot I actually already did a reroot on Catty before getting a spare. Definitely agree fang vote Jinafire would win my top list of 2024 as well. G3 I also picked Jinafire for my fav but Venus would probably get 2nd. 🖤🖤🖤

It's refreshing to see your fondness over the Filipina godess barbie and I love that! Your adoration to her design is valid and i also value it since it's personal and authentic. It's nice to see your passion to her! Unfortunately this doll got huge backlash in the Philippines, when I say backlash, it started an uproar and discussions surrounding the doll. To be honest, IT IS a creative interpretion of Filipino Culture. But accuracy and design, it kinda failed at what specific culture of the Philippines focused on. It's a hodge podge design of various design, that came from indigenous groups. It didn't also helped that the design was made by a filipino-american, which locals believed that this is the reason why the design is alienating them. Anyways sorry to rain on your parade but I hope u can get a bigger picture on this doll cuz it has its spotlight and controversy.

I could not make a Top 10, as I only liked 3 dolls in 2024, he he! And those 3 dolls are G3 Spectra (absolute perfection), G3 Jinafire (great redesign, truly stunning) and Fearbook Twyla (she ate and left no crumbs. Best Twyla ever, all generations put together). Honorable mention to Fang Vote Jinafire (but the side glance is a huge no no for me.

100% agree about Jinafire. Both Jinafires top my list this year, though fang vote is obviously the best. The ones that I had on my list that weren't mentioned here were UF doll's cat TV dolls, the antu deer centaur dolls, and petwork's Ruruko little devil dolls.
