This was pretty amazing! The first of this Deadpool speed challenge and the King of it, this fight sequence was pretty amazing! I just recently did my speed challenge too with Deadpool, to be honest with university and all, it kinda killed the passion and I was on the hiatus, the challenge which you made trendy really tempted me and pushed me back to my passion and out of my comfort zone after uni! So thanks for that! At first when I was doing the challenge I was pretty not thrilled about it because I was pretty rusty and the time limit was a real pain however while putting the video together... dang. SUGOI! LOVED IT!
Hey I just found your channel and love this concept and format. I’m getting back into Stopmotion and love your setup. What equipment do you use? How do you keep your figures in place and/or hold them in the air? How do you edit your pictures in order to erase the supports Any help you can give is greatly appreciated
Sorry for the late response, I meant to respond like a week ago. I felt like the best way to answer your questions was to show you rather than try to put it into words so here’s a response video, sorry for how long it is. th-cam.com/video/ihcLnh3Wj8s/w-d-xo.html
@@AnimationBreak Oh no i appreciate the time that you put into making it and that's before I even watch it. Now I'll show you one of the things I was working on when it's finished so that this doesn't go to waste cause I was feeling overwhelmed before I saw this post.
This is absolutely amazing just subscribed gonna go through your catalog. I think there’s a lot of things here that can help me out. Where did you find those buildings and if you made them do you have a tutorial on how to make them or link to buy them?
Greetings, thanks for sharing your videos, they help a lot. One question... With the video that took you 1 hr, for example, do you write something about what you are going to record or do you accommodate them as it occurs to you at that moment?
Okay so how I did the 1 hour one (and all the other ones too) is just by kind of thinking out what I wanted to happened and what would look cool before I animated it, now I don't know everything I'm gonna do, for example with Deadpool VS Godzilla all I knew that was gonna happen before I started animating was Deadpool pointing at the camera like that, the rest I thought of while I was making it. I kinda just dive in blind, but like partially blind because I kinda know what's gonna happen. For the 1 hour one I know the intros for the characters were gonna be how they were but nothing else until I started animating. For longer videos I sometimes write a script or play with the figures to get an entire fight scene in my head and other times I just wing it, depends on what I'm feeling. I know some people storyboard swell but I haven't tried that yet. Thanks for the comment, and I'm sorry for my essay long response.
Yep! Just upgraded tripods recently but the Stikbot tripod is really good and has been very reliable for many years, except there was one that broke… RIP 😔
Thanks! Great to know you’re enjoying them! The body of the Tomato Man is the Storm Collectibles Scorpion but without his ninja suit on. I don’t have the figure and don’t know how it works so I don’t know if you should be taking the ninja suit off, and it’s pretty expensive to just used the body. I used my brothers cuz he had 2, one with the suit on, one with off, because his scorpion broke and when he tried to get a replacement they just sent him a new one without taking back the broken one.
Great to hear!! if you make a stopmotion challenge that I have done before, like the speed challenge, you could @ me (@AnimationBreak) so I could see it when you release it!
I just call it the Deadpool Revoltech (ver. 2) figure but it’s actually called Marvel Amazing Yamaguchi Revoltech Series No.025 Deadpool (Ver. 2) made by Kaiyodo. You could probably call it just revoltech, kaiyodo, or amazing yamaguchi and not need all three. I also probably could’ve ended this comment after the first line but I already typed the rest. Sorry for the long comment. Bruh I’m just making it longer, I’ll stop now.
Hey man i was really confused on how you did the one minute one with the arm falling off i know you used a rig but how did you do it? Sorry also what rig is that?? Sorry!
Yeah so I put sticky putty on my rig to hold up my figures and such, here’s the rig I have: www.amazon.com/Soldering-Flexible-Flashlight-Magnifying-Aluminum/dp/B085958VNK/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?crid=63702ZK830CU&keywords=helping+hands&qid=1690086697&sprefix=helping+%2Caps%2C132&sr=8-9
I don’t know if I’ve asked you this before but what editing software do you use and where did you get that clicker that takes a photo when you press it
It’s basically a remote yeah, it uses volume to take pictures so basically when you click it it’ll turn your volume up which takes a picture on camera apps
sorry for the late response.. the tripod I used in this video is a stikbot tripod which comes in some of their bundles which you can find on amazon or zing.store But the tripod I currently use, which I didn't use in this video, is this one www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06XKX4DPJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
Great question!! You’ve just gotta be very careful and try to hold down the body while taking the head off or the forearm while taking hand off. If moved try best to return it to the same spot. Best time to switch is during movement frames because the figure is already moving, it doesn’t matter as much about moving them out of place cuz it’ll be moving anyways, just switch it before moving the figure to your next pose otherwise you may mess it up and needta pose it again.
@@AnimationBreak I also have another question, does your figure have any loose joints? Ot os it the perfect deadpool 2.0? And if you had to fix anything how? And pls do more deadpool it was so fun to see him talk and explain everything he seemed so human, like of the toy was alive. Super fun
@@MarbassD thank you!! I’d love to do more Deadpool animations but idk when I’ll be able to do one with my animation schedule / line up right now. Though I may have a secret cameo with Deadpool releasing this summer… shhh 🤫… but that ain’t a big role it’s gonna be super small. My Deadpool figure does have kinda loose knee joints, not the worst I’ve seen but not ideal either and sometimes his weapons / patches fall off too. I know of a couple methods but haven’t experimented enough with them to feel comfortable recommending any to someone so I can’t tell you any way yet but I do know there are some TH-cam videos claiming to fix the loose joint problem that I’ve seen I just don’t know how reliable any of them are or if they have any negative effects. Also I am planning on doing another speed challenge this summer, not about Deadpool but now I may add him in as a little side character or cameo, no promises but if he’s in there that’s all thanks to you.
@@AnimationBreak im exited about the cameo now jaja, and my deadpool figure has the exact same problems, ill try to find videos for the knees that are just a little bit loose, and depending on the solution maybe ill try it out, thanks. Haven’t arrived home yet but im also exited to animate my deadpool
The stuff on the feet is sticky putty, many animators use something sticky like putty or double sided tape to hold their figures up, sticky putty works great for me!
I wanna do a 10 hour one eventually, I've never animated for that long before so I think I'll work my way up starting with 3 hours then 5 until we get to 10.
