Last part was amazing. I was doing hours researching how often to water my Lupines Texas Blue Bonnets and everybody was saying something different. Water every 3 days, water once a week, NEVER WATER... I didn't know who to listen to! But now it's clear that I should let rain do the job but if they seem like they're withered for a while, give them a little drink. You helped me out so much, I'm sure they'll turn out great! Much love from central TX
One thing she did not mention. When the green pods dry out they split open explosively. That means that if you don't have the pods in a covered container, they will be all over the room of your house, and you will be picking them up off the floor.
ive been practicing finding wildflower seeds. you have to retrain yourself to look for the dead brown stuff, not the pretty bright flowers ... thank you for this video!
I've been working on a patch of bluebonnet for a few years and live in Ohio. We get more harsh winters. I get decent results planting in spring and just understanding that the hard shell might not split for a long time.

Excellent information, thank you!
I am doing an acre of bluebonnets, it won't be practical to pull all the plants, could I just mow down the plants once I see the seed pods opening up?

"Wooshed the seed"
Is she saying "washed the seed"?
She means the rain carried the seeds away.
