I have a weird theory that the Ryan Reynolds Cameo is because they wanted Ryan Reynolds in the movie but he couldn't do it for whatever reason so they got the next best thing which was him and I think it makes perfect sense cuz I feel like this role would actually fit Ryan Reynolds so well
Exactly, Brad Pitt also made a cameo in Deadpool 2 which was directed by the same guy who directed this movie.
and ryan couldnt show so they got brad pitt, just like their respective characters as carver was supposed to take the job, but ladybug got stuck with it instead!
It was a favor between the actors. Pitt cameos as the vanisher in deadpool 2 and ryan cameod as carver in bullet train
IIRC, Brad and Ryan both did their cameos in this movie and Deadpool 2 as a favor to each other. Think they both got paid the minimum wage allowed by the screen actors guild for each role too
Fun fact: when i watched for the film the first time; I realized the american assasin killed every person using theyre own weapon

This movie is so over ridiculous and fun at the same time. The premise is amazing, the action absolutely insane and all the twists and turns completely ridiculous yet amazing and believable. It’s very much a “wtf is going on this is amazing!” Movie.

Most exciting action movie since year but confusing as hell
I felt like this movie took heavy inspiration from Jojo because when I realized it has the same plot and character as Jojo (2 assassin's, daughter of a boss etc) it was the moment I can guess the direction and everything that was gonna happen in this movie but up until to that point it is a great movie and definitely should've watch it
That's even crazier because I don't watch anime, but this movie was based off a book and I read it before watching this and the only things that really got changed were small aspects of characters that turn them into what you've described.
So they took the original plot of the book, tweaked it enough to become JoJo, and turned it into a movie.
