Hi Shanita, nice to see another walk in Calderdale, an area in which I've only really tipped my toe. You got some great shots of that heron. Marmite sandwiches, yummy! 😋I love Marmite too. Endless Circles was a very bright score, enjoyed that one very much. Hope you both have a great weekend 👍
Lovely comments Patrick. Thanks for watching. Good to hear I have a fellow marmite sandwich fan. Not many people like it! Pleased to read you liked my 'Endless Circles', as this was a change of pace from usual slower tracks. Hope your weekend goes well for you too.
Hi Shanita! I'm really fascinated by the canal system, so I enjoyed this little adventure with you both (but I enjoy them all!) The musical piece was really upbeat and 'sparkly', I can still hear it in my head, even when the video has finished, it's quite catchy. 🥾🎶🎵
Hi Andee. So nice to read your comments. Yes that piece of music 'Endless Circles,' is upbeat so wasn't sure of response to something different from usual slow music. Must admit I had the same in my head feeling after playing a few times.
Thanks Chris. Hoping to return and follow canal into Halifax next time. I was lucky to capture the heron so close up. I think I've seen it before on that section of the Rochdale/Hebble Navigation canal. Very tame to approach.
Your video inspired me to go on a canal walk today along the Rochdale canal around Todmorden, it was a great day. Nice music Shanita with those various layers of sound and pizzicato strings. Noticed the slow motion bit near the end. Does that tripod not get heavy by the end of the day?
That was quick Steve with Rochdale canal walk today. Glad you enjoyed yourself. Thanks for the music comments. It was a change from usual slow tempo. No - Its not heavy to carry because it is a monopod so not a tripod with 3 legs just the one. Also Michael kept filming me before I had time to fold up to quite a short length. Thanks for watching and support.
Looks to be a good day for a walk. I like the music, Shanita! Well, right about now, think I'll stop and get lunch as well 😎😎Walk On!!!
Hi Plaid. Thanks so much for your response and comments on music. Glad it went down ok.
A lovely relaxing canalside walk...walks along a towpath are hard to beat.
Thanks for comments. Makes a change from other types of walks we have done.

Refrreshing and relaxing view of the place to walk around thanks for sharing
HI Jeff. Thanks for watching and your comments.
lovely video shanitaall this industrial heritage on our doorstep.
Hi Ken. Agreed. We are so lucky to have so much on our doorstep. Often missed as places to visit.
Thanks for watching and commentating.
Hi Ken. Good to read yiur comments. It seems this canal walk was popular for others too.
@@CountrysideWalking used to deliver linen to the premier inn where you and Micheal where at.
One of my many kayak routes. Nice to see it from the footpath for a change! 😁
Yes. I can imagine different view from footpath than canal. Thanks for comments.
That looks a lovely section of canal walking Shanita. Once the Rochdale Canal goes past Luddenden Foot I don't know it very well at all.
