I agree these are just average. I have a medium width foot and found the heel too wide, a bit slippy. Otherwise it was comfortable, but the upper is just ok. It's thin but somehow didn't feel super pingy. I'd wear the Mizuno Alpha, Furon V7, or Puma Ultra Ultimate over these for sure.

Puma Ultra Ultimate heel so wide much wider then the vapor. and the back heel on the Puma Ultra Ultimate feels so bad. but for my wide feet i couldt fit vapors and with the bad heel in the Puma Ultra Ultimate i didnt event try to break them inn. phantom gx is soo good, and atm im trying out speedportal+
@@olanergaard5816 that's interesting. I don't find the Ultra Ultimate heel wide at all. If anything I found it maybe slightly narrow initially. I had hot spots but they broke in after a few sessions.
Phantom GX is not bad but the fit isn't that good for me, and something like the Mizuno Alpha actually has more grip than Gripknit. It's definitely better than the Vapor though.
@@duaneswaby622 like the width in the heel i can fit 3 fingers on the side of my foot. The back of the heel was bad for me felt like my foot would slipp out of the boot if i was runing😅. But the gx for me is insane fit
I have the CR7 color way of these and they feel almost gripless with the ball. I would say the best superfly I ever wore are the 5’s that ribbed upper just feels perfect.

@@cgg8997 X is a close 2nd. Durability was ass but upper and fit was close. I preferred 11 as I felt the soleplate performed better and was more responsive.
@@iReinforcements yes vapor 11 was excellent too, i just prefer that Vapor X soleplate it was so low to the ground and that upper imo was even thinner and softer than the 11s it was probably cause the 11 had ridges on the upper for more grip on the ball but i feel like it took away from being as pliable or as close as the X’s
