That's just not true tho lol. The people that did that damage test were wrong as they were comparing a 4k Atk Jiaoqiu to a 3k Atk Guinaifen. It's literally impossible to have a built Jiaoqiu have only 4k attack. His minimum Atk with his trace at full blast is higher than 4k and that's without any Atk% pieces or sub stats. On the set up that Guinaifen has 3k Atk Jiaoqiu has 6.5k Atk. With those numbers, Jiaoqiu outclasses Guinaifen in DoT damage at E0. His damage amp at E0/S0 is also higher than Pela's. His damage amp is a multi debuff with all other damage % buffs. 50% Damage Amp is near equal to 70% Def Shred, Pela max's out at 56% with the sweet LC. Get him his LC as well and he by far surpasses Pela as a debuffer. If you're playing with E2 Acheron you need his LC anyways or you won't have enough debuffs to get her relic set maxed out. He's > Pela and Guinaifen put together at E1/S1 all their buffs included. At E2 his debuff becomes the most powerful one in the game clocking in at over 60k with just his debuff alone. (With buffs from BS.)

@@mizukie_4now He would be a good upgrade, also Bronya is better for Acheron than Sparkle is since it's not all about buffs but stacks as well. The full extra turn helps her gather more stacks. Sadly he got nerfed a bit more for PF but he'd still be rly good. He allows Acheron to get 3 ults per cycle in MoC while she's E2 when teamed up with Bronya even without a sustain applying debuffs while providing more than double the damage buff that Pela does at E1/S1. Calcs wise, Bronya + Pela is around 242% while Bronya + Jiaoqiu at E1/S1 goes to 351%. It's a significant increase overall. Just think, if Acheron does 150k with her ult vs 1 enemy at base, with his buffs along side Bronya she'd do over 500k per enemy that's 2.5m vs 5.

There is a showcase comparison between jiao and pela you can find the video in KEI4GAMES channel based on that video Pela provides more ult Dmg. Seems like 2.4 will be the EASIEST skip we will have hoyo just fked up this time
He is basically "jack of all traits, master of none" He won't be better than Guinaifen since she is made AS a DOT unit and JiaoQiu was made to be a support nihility. From the damage comparison between him and Pela, as you said, it wasn't far off and the only difference that he can make is help Acheron get her ult faster. Personally, I thought Hoyo was cooking with how well they made JiaoQiu in V1, but with this "changes" that they made to him, he'll probably be one of the most lowest selling banner of all time. V1 JiaoQiu was fine, the only complaint was that his e2 and e4 should just be in his Ascension trace, also people were complaining cause he was supposed to be a 5* version of Pela and the damage increase with him in Acheron's team was just a little bit higher than that of Acheron with Pela. I hope they change it again since the change is just so disappointing.
He wasn't supposed to be anything tho when you look at leaks and people say that it's so weird to assume such a thing when the character is obviously not even ready yet. Like this is all information we are not supposed to even have access too. Managing expectation is something you can do yknow. He was more of a 5*Guinaifen anyways since he doesn't shred DEF. He isn't even that bad tbh the nerfs he received were almost entirely personal damage nerfs which isn't even why you played him in the firat place. They didn't change his actual debuffa at all which ahould be the main reason you play him especially now that he is actually a viable replacement for RM at e0 in doT teams enabling the 4 piece DoT set easier and having his own Dot which actually improves his personal dmg paired with kafka compared to before the change which previously required e2. He is also much simpler to build as crit is now useless on him prioritizing Atk% SPD and EHR% where as before optimal Jiaoqiu wanted crit on top of these other stats kind of like Pela in that regard. I think a lot of this is blown out of proportion Pela is already such a strong character making a better version of her is basically asking for Powercreep. His main utility was always giving Acheron faster ultimates which he does to perfection and improves her damage so much more.

I dont get why they decided to nerf him even further when even his v1 version was basically just slightly better Pela. I hope v3 makes his debuff be damage vuln+crit rate boost to whoever is attacking the enemy cuz thats the only way they can save him.not bad to have a skip banner tho
@kademaxwell6025 I was really disappointed I wanted him a lot and I still do but honestly it makes me lose motivation since I was hoping his multipliers would stay high so i could use him as a sub dps but it just whatever now im just disappointed and sad especially when his debuffs aren't even that good enough to justify taking away his personal damage
UPDATE: V5 changes are here. He can only give a max number of 6 debuffs to enemies during their turn in the entire duration of his ULT. ONLY 6 max. Not even a full charge on Acheron's ULT. You need to ult again to reset the counter.
What are the devs thinking? They made changes to the wrong unit. Yes, they nerfed Yunli too, but that wasn’t the glaring issue with her kit. Her kit is near identical to Clara's, so it would’ve been nice if they reworked her entire thing.
With the leaked future roster of xianzho characters im having second thoughts on him cause my e2s1 acheron with pela, sw, trends preservation already slaps hard content well. His kit is having an identity crisis for me like for me he should be a dot support that sustains alittle bit as shown with his design and lore. Heck why add the whole yinyang hotpot if the not spicy side heals us, why add the dmg reduction in his e4 if he doesnt heal. Overall it sad that he became like this
I saw a comparison of jq in a dot team , he was 1% better than guin....absolutely a waste of pulls this guy. And he is useless for my e2s1 acheron cuz i also saw another comparison and there was no difference in cycles

After having so many cracked characters that can one shot enemies or give you whole extra cycle of actions just getting some more debuffs with some DOT on the side sounds mid at best. Nevermind that DOT has fallen off right now compared to Superbreak and Followup so making mid DOT unit is not actually helping DOT right now. DOT need a new Kafka not another Guinaifen. I don't even speak of synergy with Acheron because she literally already cracked beyond belief she doesn't need Jiaoqiu at all. Jiaoqiu is coming out at the worse time possible honestly he doesn't improve DOT, he barely improves Acheron, he is outdone in followup meta, hypercarry meta, and superbreak meta. Jiaoqiu doesn't have a single unique feature worth having right now ult dmg vulnerabiltiy is the worse debuff they could have gave him where is all type res pen? Hoyo making him a flop on purpose and they know he will still sell since whales will E6S5 all characters anyway if not get their Sig LC 100 times.
What are you talking about? All the stats for fastest clearing teams for MOC include DOT teams. Of course superbreak teams will be on top, since they are selling firefly.
We don't need a new Kafka. Do need more DoT utility units are, though. Kafka is the bread and butter of DoT teams, and I would bet my account she will be until the 2nd anniversary, if not beyond. I run Superbreak FF and Kafka DoT for my main. Literally clear everything right now with no problem. Have a fun time doing it too

I said it before: If he was meant to be a DoT unit since very start, I wouldn't mind it as much, but he was not. He was meant to be 5* Pela and that got destroyed in first beta. Despite the changes, he was still alright, and now he got turned into weird DoT unit, that isn't even that much good in that job. Making him weird all around because he is now made more with Kafka in mind over Acheron (his original unit that he was designed for), except he isn't a must for Kafka either. To put this into a perspective: Everyone knew before BS was even out that she was meant to be DoT unit that will bring value to Kafka. This is the type of unit that she was always meant to be. Now imagine upon her arriving in beta, they kill her DoT for some reason, and make her into some sort of Pela unit, except she isn't even better than said Pela and feels like huge luxury unit at best. She would be DOA! Not only would she be killed for Kafka pullers who waited for her, but other units wouldn't care that much about her either because she just feels like luxury Pela that isn't even overall better than said Pela. This is the thing that they basically done here. They had an interesting and clear kit, then they messed it up, and in the final version they completely killed it and turned it into whatever this is.
My speculation is that any amount of healing above "laughably small" made it too easy for Acheron comps to go quasi-sustainless with a Harmony in the 4th slot. And then with the healing utility gone, they didn't want to just make him Super Pela because again that would be too much of a buff for Acheron that she doesn't need. tl;dr I blame Acheron making it hard to design new nihility characters
@jamesrochester2459 That was the idea behind him originally for Acheron - to give E0 Acheron's an opportunity to use harmony more comfortably. While his healing wasn't made for solo sustain (it was said to be FX tier by original leak), it was enough for Acheron team. That being said, healing wasn't his main appeal. At least not for me. Aoe def shred was. Aoe def shred that he applied through multiple sources, made them stay, forced everyone on the field to have it with no chance of removing it, then transferring it to next wave, and then buffing team's damage... was the thing that had me interested because this here was good for every possible team that could exist. Alas, this got sent to hell. I fully expected said nerfs due to how stacked this kit was. However, my expectations were between his healing being removed, perhaps how def shred stacking worked, or even his whole buffs... not that his whole kit will get killed, so he becomes a DoT unit that nobody even asked for, or wanted. This is the biggest wtf beta change by far.
@kooweijing9061 Ironically, and originally, he was meant to have a unique DoT. By that, I mean his so-called DoT was his def shred. Aka DoT that everyone could benefit from. It was done to give Acheron more stacks outside of his turn, but it still was a thing that everyone could benefit from as well. Even said DoT team could've benefited from his def shred og kit even though he didn't have "traditional" DoT for them, on sole fact that def shred was good for everyone. Of course, can't have said unique DoTs in this game that aren't green + pink + red = glued to Kafka only. Nobody won with these changes. Those who wanted him for Acheron lost, those who wanted him for their overall account like me lost, and even said DoT simps hardly won considering that they got premium Gui that isn't even that better than her from showcases that I saw.

Knowing HSR’s history by the time she reruns there will be something better already lmao (heck many consider FF to be that rn) I have her E2 and yeah she’s strong but also having E2 dhil and E2 FF I can tell you its not as game changing as these are. But of course if you just like her then get it it’s also decent.

I waited in Genshin for 2 or 3 reruns to finally upgrade my Raiden from C0 to C2 (actually got ridiculous luck and got her to C4) and I didn't regret it even alongside C1 Neuvillette and C1 Arlecchino.

Unfortunately, I was going to go for him to improve my Acheron team. But now I'm not too sure. So, I think I'll wait for Ling Sha Since she will improve over Gallegher hopefully.
Lingsha is our savior. If she continues with the original idea of being a Healer focused on Break, my Gallagher will be able to return to my Acheron's team. Let's hope she's actually better than Gallagher and not just a 5-star Gallagher who's only 1% better than him, like Jiaoqiu and Guinaifen.

So his A2 "when its enermies turn they take fire dmg which = giving archeron more stack" is now gone??? Because that is the quickest way to give archeron even more stacks. And they removed it? Then there is no reason to pull for him.
That fire dmg earlier didn't inflict any debuff when enemies take their turn, it's just additional dmg. The one that giving Acheron more stacks is his ultimate ability that has a base chance to inflict vulnerability debuff on enemy's turn.
when i heard that he would be able to heal, i was super excited for him. i honestly really love him and I'll still pull for him, but now that it looks like he wont be healing anymore, I don't know how he'll fit into my team. currently, i have robin, dr. ratio, bailu and herta and i was really hoping to be able to replace my bailu with him since he would heal AND debuff for my ratio, but now it looks like I'd need to see if he does better than herta in my team. either way im saving up for him and will pull for him since i already love him.
If he isn't a huge upgrade to Pela or Guinaifen, I can cheerfully skip him and aim for the second barefoot Physical lady. I lack solid physical cover 🤔
I'm currently working on going for a Acheron Team. And for that I need Jiaoqiu and Acheron. I'm quite new to the Game, but I got my Breakfly Team. So yeah, going for Jiaoqiu first and then Acheron might be the best Option for me.

I'm still getting him regardless of what others say. Im a husbando collector and he will fit well with Dr Ratio. Ratio is my most used unit so its a no brainer for me unless they DESTROY his kit in v4. I dont have any 5* lcs so Im gonna use Pearls on him and he'll be just fine for Ratio
I may just save for E2 Acheron now. He only interested me because he was able to provide heals as a Nihility unit, without that, he's just a sidegrade now

I don't think you should pull for him. He'd be replacing your SW but she can offer additional gimmicks (like vulnerability). Also FX can be preferable to HuoHuo as she can use a Trade Market light cone and generate stacks for Acheron this way. Still, if I were you and had to choose only between these two, I'd go for HuoHuo. This is actually what I'm planning to do (as a proud no sustain Welt user in Acheron's team, I'd rather have someone who can sustain better than Welt for no sustain teams and Jiaoqiu doesn't fit the bill)
The only thing jiaoqiu would add to my acount would be the garentied slightly faster acheron ult charge and nothing els. If the rerun banner on jiaoqiu is blackswan or kafka then im going for them instead. I aldready have an aventurine with universal market so i already get charge on npc turns if i get lucky. When i think about it the only real thing i am missing from my acheron team would be pearls lc for pela (i have played hsr since 1.4 because console release and still dont have)
From what's been leaked, it's going to be BS. You can pull her without fear. And as a form of protest, get Jiaoqiu's LC for her 👊😎 (by calculations, it's the new BiS for her). As for the Pearls LC, don't worry, I've been playing since 1.0 and I've only got 2. I also only have 1 DDD. Gacha LCs are really hard to get. Usually the ones you need are promoted in the limited LC banners of characters you don't want, it happens, it's normal.
I hope jiaqiou is exclusive unit for acheron. Then mihoyo made him for kafka instead 😂. Easy skip for me Trash mihoyo, always make male character trash and mediocre

Just use gepard and trend market lc. Whenevef he gets attack by enemy, Acheron can get stacks much faster. Also, add nihility units in acheron team and gallagher. I will not spend that much on character with simple design. For me Acheron stands more than Midqiu. I am okay skip this dude. Initially, I though he will be the next debuffer like silverwolf. But nah. Thank you next.

he needed the dot synergy to not be an eidolon, so thats good, but you aren't replacing BS or Kafka for this. so your only option is ruan mei, previously if you got him the e2 he did do overall more damage than ruan mei at e2 (including buffs from ruan mei) but she offers speed, break effect, break extension, and break efficiency so overall i thought she was too much better than him. Now you STILL need e2 to compare in damage and they lowered his base damage numbers so as far as i see these changes are actually just a nerf overall.
I actually hate what they've done to him. The dot in his kit is useless to me. I'm going to pull anyways but damn 😭 I'll run him as an Argenti/Ratio support ig
I do think the problem with jiaoqiu is his lack of uniqueness. Acheron is a unique character from gameplay perspective. I do hope his ult can interact with archeron. For example: in his ult every time our unit using ult will trigger 1 time of his DoT but for acheron, she can trigger 9 times or something.

You still could go for acheron, Jiaoqiu, harmony and 1 sustain and it will still work unless you're going for 0 cycles no sustain which is practically useless other than for flexing. The healing is still useless considering how low it is, barely Natasha level so it changes nothing. Better off remove it

My E2S1 Acheron Team is Sparkle E0S0 , Aventurine E2S1 , Pela E6 . My plan is to replace Pela with E1S1 Jiaoqiu. Is this woth it or not? Some it is, some say it is not....

jiaoqiu + pela is still a direct upgrade to sw + pela in multi target situations, with his field inflicting debuff for every new enemy appearing he'll be cracked at PF Also, a direct upgrade to trend because he'll inflict debuffs on every enemy actions Don't listen to the doomposters, he might be just okay for every other comp, but for Acheron he still will be BiS

Improbable. Kafka, Fu Xuan and Aventurine were secondary Banners, and in Kafka's case the primary Banner was Blade (who is currently a very off-meta DPS). If they sabotaged the secondary Banner on purpose, these characters wouldn't be as strong as they are. It's easier to believe that conspiracy theory that MHY sabotages the male characters, but that's quite rare in HSR. As I mentioned, Aventurine exists.
Yeah he can maximize his traces skill where he can convert EHR to attack as well as add a dmg to his DoT. So if you have it you only need to put short amount of EHR on his relics and focus on getting spd and atk
It was one of the things that made him unique, so now his ult animation of a hotpot is half used. His only unique thing is having his field persist through waves (similar to Black Swan) BTW there is a simulated universe Nihility blessing that heals when DoT damage is taken.
@LeftyPencil respectfully, it's not that serious bc again he can't use Abundance LCs and I personally don't need my debuffers healing. Houhou, Lynx and Gallagher all exist for that and can cleanse.

That's just not true tho lol. The people that did that damage test were wrong as they were comparing a 4k Atk Jiaoqiu to a 3k Atk Guinaifen. It's literally impossible to have a built Jiaoqiu have only 4k attack. His minimum Atk with his trace at full blast is higher than 4k and that's without any Atk% pieces or sub stats. On the set up that Guinaifen has 3k Atk Jiaoqiu has 6.5k Atk. With those numbers, Jiaoqiu outclasses Guinaifen in DoT damage at E0.
His damage amp at E0/S0 is also higher than Pela's. His damage amp is a multi debuff with all other damage % buffs. 50% Damage Amp is near equal to 70% Def Shred, Pela max's out at 56% with the sweet LC. Get him his LC as well and he by far surpasses Pela as a debuffer. If you're playing with E2 Acheron you need his LC anyways or you won't have enough debuffs to get her relic set maxed out.
He's > Pela and Guinaifen put together at E1/S1 all their buffs included. At E2 his debuff becomes the most powerful one in the game clocking in at over 60k with just his debuff alone. (With buffs from BS.)

@@mizukie_4now He would be a good upgrade, also Bronya is better for Acheron than Sparkle is since it's not all about buffs but stacks as well. The full extra turn helps her gather more stacks. Sadly he got nerfed a bit more for PF but he'd still be rly good. He allows Acheron to get 3 ults per cycle in MoC while she's E2 when teamed up with Bronya even without a sustain applying debuffs while providing more than double the damage buff that Pela does at E1/S1. Calcs wise, Bronya + Pela is around 242% while Bronya + Jiaoqiu at E1/S1 goes to 351%. It's a significant increase overall. Just think, if Acheron does 150k with her ult vs 1 enemy at base, with his buffs along side Bronya she'd do over 500k per enemy that's 2.5m vs 5.

He is basically "jack of all traits, master of none" He won't be better than Guinaifen since she is made AS a DOT unit and JiaoQiu was made to be a support nihility. From the damage comparison between him and Pela, as you said, it wasn't far off and the only difference that he can make is help Acheron get her ult faster. Personally, I thought Hoyo was cooking with how well they made JiaoQiu in V1, but with this "changes" that they made to him, he'll probably be one of the most lowest selling banner of all time. V1 JiaoQiu was fine, the only complaint was that his e2 and e4 should just be in his Ascension trace, also people were complaining cause he was supposed to be a 5* version of Pela and the damage increase with him in Acheron's team was just a little bit higher than that of Acheron with Pela. I hope they change it again since the change is just so disappointing.
He wasn't supposed to be anything tho when you look at leaks and people say that it's so weird to assume such a thing when the character is obviously not even ready yet. Like this is all information we are not supposed to even have access too. Managing expectation is something you can do yknow. He was more of a 5*Guinaifen anyways since he doesn't shred DEF. He isn't even that bad tbh the nerfs he received were almost entirely personal damage nerfs which isn't even why you played him in the firat place. They didn't change his actual debuffa at all which ahould be the main reason you play him especially now that he is actually a viable replacement for RM at e0 in doT teams enabling the 4 piece DoT set easier and having his own Dot which actually improves his personal dmg paired with kafka compared to before the change which previously required e2. He is also much simpler to build as crit is now useless on him prioritizing Atk% SPD and EHR% where as before optimal Jiaoqiu wanted crit on top of these other stats kind of like Pela in that regard. I think a lot of this is blown out of proportion Pela is already such a strong character making a better version of her is basically asking for Powercreep. His main utility was always giving Acheron faster ultimates which he does to perfection and improves her damage so much more.

With the leaked future roster of xianzho characters im having second thoughts on him cause my e2s1 acheron with pela, sw, trends preservation already slaps hard content well. His kit is having an identity crisis for me like for me he should be a dot support that sustains alittle bit as shown with his design and lore. Heck why add the whole yinyang hotpot if the not spicy side heals us, why add the dmg reduction in his e4 if he doesnt heal. Overall it sad that he became like this

After having so many cracked characters that can one shot enemies or give you whole extra cycle of actions just getting some more debuffs with some DOT on the side sounds mid at best. Nevermind that DOT has fallen off right now compared to Superbreak and Followup so making mid DOT unit is not actually helping DOT right now. DOT need a new Kafka not another Guinaifen. I don't even speak of synergy with Acheron because she literally already cracked beyond belief she doesn't need Jiaoqiu at all.
Jiaoqiu is coming out at the worse time possible honestly he doesn't improve DOT, he barely improves Acheron, he is outdone in followup meta, hypercarry meta, and superbreak meta. Jiaoqiu doesn't have a single unique feature worth having right now ult dmg vulnerabiltiy is the worse debuff they could have gave him where is all type res pen? Hoyo making him a flop on purpose and they know he will still sell since whales will E6S5 all characters anyway if not get their Sig LC 100 times.
What are you talking about? All the stats for fastest clearing teams for MOC include DOT teams. Of course superbreak teams will be on top, since they are selling firefly.
We don't need a new Kafka. Do need more DoT utility units are, though. Kafka is the bread and butter of DoT teams, and I would bet my account she will be until the 2nd anniversary, if not beyond. I run Superbreak FF and Kafka DoT for my main. Literally clear everything right now with no problem. Have a fun time doing it too

I said it before: If he was meant to be a DoT unit since very start, I wouldn't mind it as much, but he was not. He was meant to be 5* Pela and that got destroyed in first beta. Despite the changes, he was still alright, and now he got turned into weird DoT unit, that isn't even that much good in that job. Making him weird all around because he is now made more with Kafka in mind over Acheron (his original unit that he was designed for), except he isn't a must for Kafka either.
To put this into a perspective: Everyone knew before BS was even out that she was meant to be DoT unit that will bring value to Kafka. This is the type of unit that she was always meant to be. Now imagine upon her arriving in beta, they kill her DoT for some reason, and make her into some sort of Pela unit, except she isn't even better than said Pela and feels like huge luxury unit at best. She would be DOA! Not only would she be killed for Kafka pullers who waited for her, but other units wouldn't care that much about her either because she just feels like luxury Pela that isn't even overall better than said Pela.
This is the thing that they basically done here. They had an interesting and clear kit, then they messed it up, and in the final version they completely killed it and turned it into whatever this is.

My speculation is that any amount of healing above "laughably small" made it too easy for Acheron comps to go quasi-sustainless with a Harmony in the 4th slot.
And then with the healing utility gone, they didn't want to just make him Super Pela because again that would be too much of a buff for Acheron that she doesn't need.
tl;dr I blame Acheron making it hard to design new nihility characters
@jamesrochester2459 That was the idea behind him originally for Acheron - to give E0 Acheron's an opportunity to use harmony more comfortably. While his healing wasn't made for solo sustain (it was said to be FX tier by original leak), it was enough for Acheron team.
That being said, healing wasn't his main appeal. At least not for me. Aoe def shred was. Aoe def shred that he applied through multiple sources, made them stay, forced everyone on the field to have it with no chance of removing it, then transferring it to next wave, and then buffing team's damage... was the thing that had me interested because this here was good for every possible team that could exist. Alas, this got sent to hell.
I fully expected said nerfs due to how stacked this kit was. However, my expectations were between his healing being removed, perhaps how def shred stacking worked, or even his whole buffs... not that his whole kit will get killed, so he becomes a DoT unit that nobody even asked for, or wanted. This is the biggest wtf beta change by far.
@kooweijing9061 Ironically, and originally, he was meant to have a unique DoT. By that, I mean his so-called DoT was his def shred. Aka DoT that everyone could benefit from. It was done to give Acheron more stacks outside of his turn, but it still was a thing that everyone could benefit from as well. Even said DoT team could've benefited from his def shred og kit even though he didn't have "traditional" DoT for them, on sole fact that def shred was good for everyone.
Of course, can't have said unique DoTs in this game that aren't green + pink + red = glued to Kafka only.
Nobody won with these changes. Those who wanted him for Acheron lost, those who wanted him for their overall account like me lost, and even said DoT simps hardly won considering that they got premium Gui that isn't even that better than her from showcases that I saw.

The fact that Black Swan rerolling is more hilarious because Blacks Swan can literally do almost everything he does but more DMG. If u want her to be more useful outside DoT, just roll JQ's sig LC. I have E1S1 Acheron, and I feel like it wouls just be better (and cheaper) to pull her E2 on her rerun than get him. Then I can also use Sparkle.
Knowing HSR’s history by the time she reruns there will be something better already lmao (heck many consider FF to be that rn) I have her E2 and yeah she’s strong but also having E2 dhil and E2 FF I can tell you its not as game changing as these are. But of course if you just like her then get it it’s also decent.
@Radiant450 I have E2 Firefly. It is pretty much an E6 disguise. You might be right about the powercreep, but we'll see. I waited in Genshin for 2 or 3 reruns to finally upgrade my Raiden from C0 to C2 (actually got ridiculous luck and got her to C4) and I didn't regret it even alongside C1 Neuvillette and C1 Arlecchino.

Unfortunately, I was going to go for him to improve my Acheron team. But now I'm not too sure. So, I think I'll wait for Ling Sha Since she will improve over Gallegher hopefully.
Lingsha is our savior. If she continues with the original idea of being a Healer focused on Break, my Gallagher will be able to return to my Acheron's team. Let's hope she's actually better than Gallagher and not just a 5-star Gallagher who's only 1% better than him, like Jiaoqiu and Guinaifen.

So his A2 "when its enermies turn they take fire dmg which = giving archeron more stack" is now gone??? Because that is the quickest way to give archeron even more stacks. And they removed it? Then there is no reason to pull for him.
That fire dmg earlier didn't inflict any debuff when enemies take their turn, it's just additional dmg.
The one that giving Acheron more stacks is his ultimate ability that has a base chance to inflict vulnerability debuff on enemy's turn.
I mean having one more pela won't hurt. Just like having kazuha and sucrose.
The problem isn't having two Pelas. The problem is that the second Pela has the rarity of 5 stars. Just rarity, not strength.
when i heard that he would be able to heal, i was super excited for him. i honestly really love him and I'll still pull for him, but now that it looks like he wont be healing anymore, I don't know how he'll fit into my team. currently, i have robin, dr. ratio, bailu and herta and i was really hoping to be able to replace my bailu with him since he would heal AND debuff for my ratio, but now it looks like I'd need to see if he does better than herta in my team. either way im saving up for him and will pull for him since i already love him.

I'm currently working on going for a Acheron Team. And for that I need Jiaoqiu and Acheron. I'm quite new to the Game, but I got my Breakfly Team. So yeah, going for Jiaoqiu first and then Acheron might be the best Option for me.

I'm still getting him regardless of what others say. Im a husbando collector and he will fit well with Dr Ratio. Ratio is my most used unit so its a no brainer for me unless they DESTROY his kit in v4. I dont have any 5* lcs so Im gonna use Pearls on him and he'll be just fine for Ratio
I may just save for E2 Acheron now. He only interested me because he was able to provide heals as a Nihility unit, without that, he's just a sidegrade now
Increasing multiplier means adding 300%, not multiplying by 4.
So it would be a 480% ATK DoT, not 720% ATK
I dont reccomend anyone to pull for him, its better to go for e2 acheron than e0s1 jiaoqiu

I don't think you should pull for him. He'd be replacing your SW but she can offer additional gimmicks (like vulnerability). Also FX can be preferable to HuoHuo as she can use a Trade Market light cone and generate stacks for Acheron this way. Still, if I were you and had to choose only between these two, I'd go for HuoHuo. This is actually what I'm planning to do (as a proud no sustain Welt user in Acheron's team, I'd rather have someone who can sustain better than Welt for no sustain teams and Jiaoqiu doesn't fit the bill)

From what's been leaked, it's going to be BS. You can pull her without fear. And as a form of protest, get Jiaoqiu's LC for her 👊😎 (by calculations, it's the new BiS for her).
As for the Pearls LC, don't worry, I've been playing since 1.0 and I've only got 2. I also only have 1 DDD. Gacha LCs are really hard to get. Usually the ones you need are promoted in the limited LC banners of characters you don't want, it happens, it's normal.

Just use gepard and trend market lc. Whenevef he gets attack by enemy, Acheron can get stacks much faster. Also, add nihility units in acheron team and gallagher. I will not spend that much on character with simple design. For me Acheron stands more than Midqiu. I am okay skip this dude. Initially, I though he will be the next debuffer like silverwolf. can you please make calculations about DOTcheron teams (Acheron, Kafkaa, BS, andaventurine) against the Acheron hypercarry team (Acheron, Jiaoqiu, Pela, Aventurine)? i would love to see how my fav acheron team fairs against him.
Short answer: DoTcheron better for AoE and HC better for ST.

he needed the dot synergy to not be an eidolon, so thats good, but you aren't replacing BS or Kafka for this. so your only option is ruan mei, previously if you got him the e2 he did do overall more damage than ruan mei at e2 (including buffs from ruan mei) but she offers speed, break effect, break extension, and break efficiency so overall i thought she was too much better than him. Now you STILL need e2 to compare in damage and they lowered his base damage numbers so as far as i see these changes are actually just a nerf overall.
I actually hate what they've done to him. The dot in his kit is useless to me. I'm going to pull anyways but damn 😭 I'll run him as an Argenti/Ratio support ig

I do think the problem with jiaoqiu is his lack of uniqueness. Acheron is a unique character from gameplay perspective.
I do hope his ult can interact with archeron.
For example: in his ult every time our unit using ult will trigger 1 time of his DoT but for acheron, she can trigger 9 times or something.
They removed his heal that made him unique. Skipping.

@@GreenhouseGoblin nihility requirement is 2 extra characters unless you're E2, realistically not everyone has E2 acheron. You still could go for acheron, Jiaoqiu, harmony and 1 sustain and it will still work unless you're going for 0 cycles no sustain which is practically useless other than for flexing. The healing is still useless considering how low it is, barely Natasha level so it changes nothing. Better off remove it

If I have E0 Acheron with Boundless Choreo S5, how much will Jiaoqiu help my account? My team can get the ult pretty fast because Aventurine is on trend and I also have Gallagher. I'm just missing the relics. So I'm kind of having second thoughts aftter the nerf.
jiaoqiu + pela is still a direct upgrade to sw + pela in multi target situations, with his field inflicting debuff for every new enemy appearing he'll be cracked at PF

Improbable. Kafka, Fu Xuan and Aventurine were secondary Banners, and in Kafka's case the primary Banner was Blade (who is currently a very off-meta DPS). If they sabotaged the secondary Banner on purpose, these characters wouldn't be as strong as they are.
It's easier to believe that conspiracy theory that MHY sabotages the male characters, but that's quite rare in HSR. As I mentioned, Aventurine exists.
Is his LC that much better than other f2p alternatives?
Yeah he can maximize his traces skill where he can convert EHR to attack as well as add a dmg to his DoT. So if you have it you only need to put short amount of EHR on his relics and focus on getting spd and atk

Idk why anyone wants him to heal when he can't even use Abundance LCs. Like, that heal isn't worth all the fake rage. All he needs is better numbers.
It was one of the things that made him unique, so now his ult animation of a hotpot is half used. His only unique thing is having his field persist through waves (similar to Black Swan)
BTW there is a simulated universe Nihility blessing that heals when DoT damage is taken.

Only if you want to use Acheron in PF. In MoC and AS, SW is great, there's no problem with her being single-target.

I don't know why everyone's saying he got nerfed when he has just got some multipliers moved around and his debuffs didn't change.
Its just his numbers, he wasn’t that much better than pela in the first version but cutting his ult dmg in half rlly hurt him, since he can only barely suffice as a sub dps now and that’s what most ppl wanted. He seems fine but rlly underwhelming rn bc of all the hype around him before he was announced about him being a nihility healer and making Acheron so much better ect ect, also debuffers just aren’t that good anymore, the five star harmonies r so fucking broken they make units like sw and pela seem kinda redundant unless u rly need them.
