Don Mouth Naturalization and Port Lands Flood Protection Project

Presentation by Waterfront Toronto on the Don River Mouth Naturalization and Port Lands Flood Protection Project. Fascinating presentation about how the Don River is being re-routed at its mouth to a more natural water flow route and how the project will prevent the flooding that has occurred in the past. In addition it will reveal the beautiful nature trails, and parks that have been created. This project included the creation of a new Island that will have housing, park land and event space . Presentation explains the process and includes photos showing progress to date and renderings of how it will look once everything is completed.
