You sure don't get that same knowledge, let alone effort, from most doctors and specialists. Many enjoy the extra 🤑 from surgeries, statins, and more scheduled appointments. My goal in physical therapy is to get my patients to build body armor against disease (muscle), heal their gut, and protect their liver. Oh and to reduce their stress 'cuz we have fun!!

      Hi.
sorry to hear about your husband.
Yes many young people are in this state in the world and the immediate environment doesn't help.
Its good that Dr. J is doing so much and taking time to explain everything (the difficult to understand pathophysiology in medicine ) in simple terms and THAT YOU WOULD BE AN ADVOCATE will save many lives am sure. please keep it up.
I am a doctor myself and it is difficult to convince patients and people around to change and I can't explain as Dr J is doing.

I had all these symptoms aged 51. Then depression hit me like a sledgehammer out of the blue - I was over 300lbs. I felt desperate not knowing what was wrong with me or why I was suddenly depressed because other than being physically wrecked my life was great. Thank God I didn’t go to the Doctor for SSRIs but found myself asking a simple question “what’s this depression trying to tell me”? Immediately I knew: I’m fat, I’m eating shit and I haven’t worked out in 20 years. I switched to strict keto diet and 2 months later I have lost 40lbs, I work out for over an hour a day, every day, I’m building muscle and I feel fantastic- no depression and most of my other health and anxiety problems have melted away. It’s like a miracle cure.

Most mainstream doctors will tell you that seed oils are good for you and that leaky gut syndrome is a myth. But I couldn't help but notice they had no answers for me when I got stent after stent due to a rapidly progressing form of atherosclerosis. I was even on what they considered a healthy diet. I've been following Pradip's advice and it has been 4 years now and not one stent when before I'd need a stent every 9 months to a year until I ended up with 6 stents ending in 2019. I now take colostrum for the gut, don't consume those seed oils in canned nuts and now eat whole foods and nothing processed. BTW, my BP is 98 over 60, 35 triglycerides, no inflammatory markers anymore, and no more prediabetes. My money is on Pradip and to hell with Harvard and Mayo Clinic.

I know the feeling with this bad stuff is happening. After eating very consciously timed, infrequent meals of whole real foods - I can tell if i go to a restaurant or eat someone else's food cooked with garbage oils or such. I can exactly feel my gut getting really irritated - instead of sending me the happy feelings from real food. Once you give your body the high quality foods at the natural frequency (once or twice a day, no snacks) - you absolutely notice how terrible you were treating your body BEFORE GETTING INFORMED. The mass ignorance of feasting and fasting and addiction to processed foods WILL eventually bankrupt America. You cannot outrun your own health, it will eventually catch up with you. Do yourself a favor and learn these critical details about human physiology.

Healing the gut! Fasting and not feeding the inflammatory bad guys. What do the good guys want? Fiber, lots of broccoli? What are the best fibers that don't include carbohydrates?
All this Destruction has a common theme. Eating frequently, processed food, an overload of carbohydrates, sugar feeding everything that wants to kill you, stress.

After my brother had a heart attack at age 67 ( one year ago ), we found out that we have some hereditary problems in our family.
One is Lipoprotein (a ). Nothing you do ( diet, exercise, statins ) can get rid of it.
Also hypercholestremia, which makes sense to me because I developed high cholesterol at 50 years old. I was 112 lbs. and had just passed my NLS Lifeguard. I was put on a statin and have been on it for 20 years now.
We also found out from my brother that we have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy in our genetic makeup. All these things were found out after his heart attack.
I have been tested for both ( all 8 siblings were advised to be checked ). I found that I have Lipoprotein ( a ) but I do not have Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy.
I also went for a Stress Test that was normal.
However, from age 61 to age 64, I started to become weaker and weaker. At 64, I became bedbound for about four years. This was very
difficult to accept because I had been an athlete. But there was nothing I could do. Apparently what I had was called ME/CFS - Myalgicencephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
It has not been accepted by the Medical Community at large. But with the high incidence of “ long COVID “, which has the same symptoms, more money is going into research for ME/CFS. It is believed to be caused by a virus ( related to the Epstein Barr virus which causes Mononucleosis )
I am now in recovery, which will take a few years, and I was happy to find this channel and begin eating a healthier diet. Being a former RN who worked with Cardiac patients in the 1970’s, I find this information fascinating.
And no, I did not gain weight while bedbound. One is so completely exhausted, that lifting one’s head up to eat is difficult. Millions of people around the world have ME/ CFS but you do not see them. They are invisible because they cannot leave their homes and beds. They ( we ) describe themselves as having lost their lives. And we look completely normal, so that if we manage to get out for a coffee, we look fine. But we will end up flat in bed after even such a small activity.
I was interested in this Dr.’s mention of interferon and T cells, because new research has shown a problem with the body’s ability to control interferon and T cells and ME/ CFS.
Hopefully, a cure will be found.
    Fascinating info!!

Any specific good probiotic culture to consume to improve the good bacteria in the gut? [like yogurt or any other probiotic tablets]
I heard from another research that a person becoming obese or lean is also decided by the bacteria in the gut!
A lean person, received stool replacement from a obese person, eventually became obese the research said!
Any specific good gut bacteria that improves nutrition absorption and increase overall metabolic rate?
Appreciate your research and knowledge 💕

You are amazing, I'm Glenn from Vancouver Canada and I had a mi 70% and 90% blockage in the widow maker, and almost did not make it, and had two stents installed in march of 2022, my cardiologist just treated me with Plavix, aspirin, clopidrogol and atorvastatin, and I have fealt horrible ever since. I have had many side effects but my cardiologist is not hearing me, so I was left to get on the cpu and attempt to research my way into better health. You and Dr Grundy have begun to change my life, and understand what is really happening to me and why I ended up in the condition I did at 50 years old. I was relatively healthy I thought and wasn't obese, rather about 20 lbs overweight, but did no exercises and ate a 95 percent carb and processed food diet. Thank you so much for your videos and excellent personality in explaining what's happening, it's a life changer. I have begun to make radical changes in my diet and exercises and I know this wll extend my life and reverse the plaque in my arteries. BTW I have never gad a coronary calcium score nor had any testing to check my insulin resistance, nor had a CT coronary scan.

And OMAD. I've fixed the following: fatty liver, RA, acid reflux, pre diabetes, Bleeding hemorrhoids, pain, and inflation throughout my body, off 7 meds and 2 injection, and I lost 80 lbs. My labs are perfect, I am a new person.

Dr Jamnadas, I would love for you to make a video on alternatives to blood thinners. I’ve learned so much about vitamin K foods and eating healthy to keep blood thin. My cardiologist is recommending blood thinners because of Afib: Chadvase- 3- age, HTN, female. I had a catheter ablation and was in ICU for 6 days due to complications. I left the hospital with a pace maker (what a shock)) I take an aspirin at night and blood pressure meds in the morning. That’s it! I’ve been feeling fabulous for over 3 years with a healthy diet and exercise . My question is why do I need blood thinners? Is there a blood test to determine if my blood is thin or thick? Then how about blood clots? Please consider making a video. I so much appreciate your videos. They’re so educational, informative and interesting. Thanks a bunch for all your fantastic videos.

Being a physician I appreciate this information being tied together in a congruent whole. The average person will have some difficulties with this material. My one big gripe is that all chronic diseases start in the gut. No it’s starts in the mind, emotions, family and programming of the individual. The mind chooses. It makes choices. Usually programmed uninformed choices. You choose what’s put into your mouth.
