Your children are a testament to how good a parent you are, not only are they looking after the little ones they’re able to go and preserve food for the family for future eating. I don’t know how many people would be able to do both things by that age confidently and independently because like you said you’re always there sleeves rolled up leading them so can help if they need it. You’re doing good momma bear so inspiring to all who meet you be it in person or through here xx
All your kids are a Blessing but your older daughters are amazing...the one doing the canning and freezer job is superwoman for sure...your family is so loving and caring...God Bless...
You’ve obviously taught them well. Never seen so much food. I had 5 children and it was a lot of food. Glad people are helping you. Hope baby continues t improve. Lots of love and light. My Daughter gave birth to her 1st baby a few days before you, Ava was born on the 19/9 so your story hit my heart. Sending you all love and light. 💙💙💙
Yummy blueberries!! I love them, but my blood sugar doesn’t. Your daughters did a great job! Thanks for sharing! I hope you have a generator in case of power failure. Or you could have a few coolers that you could fill with ice. It would be terrible if all that food thawed at one time. My grandma always told me that to have lots of stored food is to be rich. She canned jars and filled her freezer all her life. I loved her jams, jellies, pickles, and apple sauce. God bless
What a gorgeous sight to see that many jars of blueberries DONE! Yea for her to get them canned and looking so pretty. I kept thinking about all the things I could make with that much on hand and so happy for you! I just re-watched Jessica's video on making gummies and kept thinking that would be a great way to use the juice from some of your jars. So easy your girls could get it done in no time. Just need some plain gelatin powder. I'm getting excited about the pantry challenge and all the things I'll learn. It is so inspiring to watch what you do in the kitchen.
I am very inspired by your kids! I'm 33 and I've never water bath/pressure canned. I watch canning related videos all the time, because I find it interesting. But I think I'll take a swing at it before the new year. Thank you for posting this, they make it look easy!
Thank you for the video. I not only enjoyed it but also found it very interesting. You have taught me a few things with all that you do at home. Wow. you are an amazing family. God bless you all. Prayers continue…❤
Thank you MommaBear for amazing videos that you're providing us with, even in this crazy season of yours. You are truly a blessing. I'm waiting for the butchering video! There will be huge amount of work but I'm sure yall will get though it
Knowing that your elder daughter can take care of daily life on the homestead must bring you great peace of mind. Not excluding your husband, who else knows your home, the land, your resources, the daily routine, different dietary requirements and most importantly, knows her siblings hearts and minds, tends to their emotional and physical needs and loves and cares for them with a pure, wholesome and willing heart? Although it isn't possible for you all to be in one place at the moment, it is clear your family is deeply bonded by love and God's word. Have a blessed day 🙏❤️❤️❤️🏴
Hi momma bear good to see you!!! Your children are great they know the ropes good for all of you !!!! Love the freezer meals I've learned a lot from you thank you
I’m so thankful that y’all were blessed to have people come help y’all butcher your food. So thankful that y’all are going to have extra meat to be able to provide meals for your family. God is good all the time!🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Praying daily for Azariah & your whole family 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I hope your children that are sick get well soon! Thank you for your videos! I really enjoy them all!❤
Mmmm blueberries. I love Blueberries.lol. They look so Yummy. So many good uses. I am glad your daughter is able to help you out! She is very special. What are you doing for the Holidays? I hope all of you are able to be together during this advent season. Hugs💗
Holy cow! They pressure canned over 50 jars? I'm just impressed that they pulled that off given they're young. That's a good life skill. If you can pressure can, you can eat even when there's nothing left to buy at the store. Edited to add: Waterbath canning still counts... Edited one more time to add: I've had more lid failures than I like to admit since the change. I'd rather have the old ones but they're impossible to find.
Only LORD JESUS is Holy! That was one of her older daughters who has probably been canning for a long while!! My daughter is 14 we haven't ventured into canning yet, but she can run a kitchen very well! She can cook a full course meal and do the clean up no problem...don't under estimate young people :) 3 rivershomestead recommends lids I can't remember the name, but if you go to her channel it would be on one of her recent canning videos! LORD JESUS is KING of kings and LORD of lords!
What a HUGE blessing!! Those berries could come in handy later!! Your daughter is doing a great job at being a woman and stepping up to the plate and getting it done! LORD JESUS is KING of kings and LORD of lords!
Boy I thought I had alot of blueberries to process I have 5 gallons of blueberries and probably another 5 gallons of blackberries to turn into jam I also have a couple bags of tomatoes and I have another 30 pounds of potatoes to can and 15 pounds of sweet potatoes to can. I qlso need to make a bunch of turkey broth and ham broth to get the bones out of the freezer I think after the holidays are over I will get back to canning great job I can't wait for the butchering video i don't have animals to butcher but I still find it interesting my mom butchered lots of animals as a kid farm animals and wild game deer, rabbits, squirrels and whatever else my grandpa brought home nothing ever went to waste it went in to the stew pot and you didn't know what meat was in there it was just stew. I would have been a hot mess😂.
It must have been hard not to be in your home in Maine but you have raised your daughters to be able to take care of things even when you don’t have propane! All of the jars of blueberries will be great to have🫐🫐🫐🫐🫐🫐
great you have a wood burning stove too so when no gas to be got, you are not stuck for cooking , all them skills you thaugt them mommabear coming in handy and they great to all help out ,
I’m sure you’re relieved that is done. I was thinking, can any of what needs canning like the meat be packed in ice, and be brought to your other house raw, along with the pressure canner, jars, funnel, etc.. and be canned there instead if you need more time or space? I was thinking about the pipes freezing when you said the propane ran out. Did the water get turned off before they left to drive back? Winter in the north is such a difficult time of year to leave a house. You’re wise to stay back if there’s sickness. It’s really going around. Praying! ❤️🙏🏼
Not to be rude, but for safety reasons, you might try taking everything out of your freezer. It has so much built-up ice all over the inside. This isn't a safe situation for all that food you're storing in it.Also it can't safely freeze all that. Before putting anything back into it I would suggest cleaning it out with bleach also. Looked pretty nasty. Just seems it would keep everyone from getting sick. Good luck with filling your freezer after that.Better safe then, sorry.
It's well used not nasty...I've had freezers for years. That is just how it goes when you take things out it is always a mess at the bottom and on the sides. LORD JESUS is KING of kings and LORD of lords!
Your daughter reminds me of how The Bible talks about how we are to honor our Godly parents. You have trained your children up well and now they are not departing. She is a blessing no doubt. I pray for her and that God blesses her and your other older children. What a beau Christmas gift they are giving to you and your husband.
Yes and mama bear and her husband are doing the other half of that verse of being an example of being HONORABLE ❤ So that her children want to honor them 😊 they set really great examples for their children !
Your daughters are great! They are hard working women and they love their family.

Your freezers are in bad shape and some food looks freezer burned. Glad I don’t have to clean all that mess up. Ugh. 😢
Hi honey.
