  • @Sinvare
    @Sinvare ปีที่แล้ว +30

    Instead of building pumps to move water up hill so some grass can be grown in a desert, maybe look at trapping rainwater/flood in cisterns and flooding farms planted with crops that can handle the surge to rejuvenate the lands and refill groundwater. Humanity has been doing cisterns and controlled flooding for thousands of years, though recharging groundwater is a modern idea. Japan is doing a modern version of flood controls in major cities with what are basically cisterns.

      When you are in a drought and need water and then it rains and snows you lose some trees, some buildings and more than a few cars but I don't think many of us consider it "bad" weather. We’re only in droughts because, the ones in power for the last 50 years rejected plans for many more reservoirs proposed back in the 1970’s. The population has dramatically increased since then and there have been no reservoirs built. There will and always has been cycles in our weather systems that cause dry spells. It’s not “climate change” or “global warming”. It’s an easy fix if we build more reservoirs, especially in Southern California that take so much water away from Northern California and dry up their reservoirs. So much water wasted in these rains seasons.

Those today, like yourself, in society that use these terms without any merit to debate or dispute another, are nothing more than brainwashed puppets that do not even realize that they are being controlled.
      I guess those smart meters in Colorado during last summers major heat wave, where many residents got locked out of their own thermostats in their homes that were being controlled by the government and power companies was just a conspiracy, heh? Yes, they signed up to save money, but do you think it’s a good idea for the government to control anything in your house and tell you what temperature you’re allowed to be at? This is how it starts and they use “climate change” to justify their authoritarianism actions. It’s all about control, money, and power. I’m sorry you do not have the high intellect required to critically think about all the evidence and pieces to place them together to find the truth. Most people do not, which is why so many are easily conditioned and brainwashed, where they throw around the empty zombie term “conspiracy nut” while omitting a rational intelligent argument.

    Far too many people have forgotten that all of the reservoirs and the water supply system was built because of the frequent droughts that they have in the region. They were built specifically to store as much water as possible from the rain and snow melt and during wet seasons for the specific reason of providing water for the people when the dry season starts and during longer droughts.
    All you are seeing are the natural variations of the region's natural climate cycles. But people whose religion is politics and whose church is government depend on people not remembering and believing the lies they tell.

    if you live in this area put in rain water collectors on your gutters. This is FREE water for you. You can filter it, use it for watering yard, drinking etc.

    • @maxsdad538
      @maxsdad538 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      Not true. In some parts of California, "rain water runoff" belongs to the state and it's illegal to collect it. It's used to replenish the aquifer.

    • @jansmith3158

      @@maxsdad538 obviously you have not keep up with California rain water laws. You can get permits and now california is encouraging rain water catch. Look into this with your county permit office.

      Because fish don't deserve a life right. Also this area has nothing to do with fishes. Must be conflating the propaganda talking points. Why doesn't the Mississippi river get stopped up so y'all don't send water to the ocean... Oh yeah it's a shipping lifeline just like some of our Rivers in California. I'm sure you mean like the San Joaquin river which helps feed the Delta. But it also helps feed the Stockton Port one of the Largest inland ports that helps Farmers get their goods out of the Central valley. But I'm sure you don't really care because it doesn't align with your thought process of California.
