THE OCBC guy describes retirement very well. It is not just money but also the activities that keep one occupied and fulfilled.
P>S>Reggie, next time when you have a shoot at nice air con places like the swanky OCBC pl at Wisma, you can post it on social media and people like me will love to be there to witness the live panel discussion !

Depends on your lifestyle. I am retired, 50 yrs old, sole breadwinner. 3 Dependants wife + 2 children, 100% self made, current monthly expenses $13k-15k. So how much do you think i need?

Totally agree that the mindset of retirement needs to move away from just financial. I organize a talk last year and it was shared that retirement planning now encompasses financial health , cognitive health, physical health and even social health. Great content as usual! ❤

Human need to stay active to live healthy! We will quit paid job when we are financially prudent but should never retire from the active lifestyle..

Each and every financial experts that I see on news or videos inevitably only know how to advise the same thing , save as much as possible , and then a little bit more. What type of advice is that ?
And ALL of they forgot to factor in the most important thing.

Not a very good host to totally sideline the poor lady. Might as well don't invite her to the panel.

Summary on point 👌🏻 but you essentially become reliant on the financial markets or property markets or which ever asset group that derives that income for you? 😆

Chicken rice is a real problem for us. Singaporeans? Better stay home, survive on cup noodles, and follow healthySG.

This episode is not useful at all to me, perhaps to others, yes. Do these young people know what is in the mind of people at retirement age? And it’s so one sided assumption, at least first half of the episode, that rich people and wealthy professionals all exchanged their health for money, are you sure? Are you making an assumption that people who are average are healthier because they work lesser?
There are many factors why people are not healthy, the type of low nutrient hawker food out there, bread and luncheon meat or kaya as breakfast, cheap imported vegetables that contain lots of insecticides and pesticides but still at non fatal level, hormones fed meat protein, fanciful sugary drinks, lazy to exercise, how about not so rich people also have stress worrying for retirement etc. I personally find the host and guests here did not understand the topic deep enough
