It is a decent knock off of our jack. Pro Eagle builds our own jacks in our own Pro Eagle factory. Not talking bad about that one, just clearing up that question.
Nice way to throw people off HAHA......what you SHOULD say is "Pro Eagle builds our own jacks in our CHINA factory"? Let's be transparent here, because I am sure you know that is the number 1 question on most peoples minds.
I pay more to buy USA Ok to buying things from China. We have to do it, but calling yourself pro eagle and running from being made in China is not real cool
Just picked up the Off road CAT. It looks like it is better built as well. Heavier and all steel construction instead of aluminum. Also the no turning wheels isn't a big deal. The wheels are so tall you can lean it on its side and turn it like a bike.
I got the pro eagle, looks exactly the same as that but main issue with that lift plate is the little ears will start to bend to the point where the extension won't twist in
Appreciate your video the time you took to make it very valuable information after two years of use can you tell us your feedback about that Jack please? Thank you.
I recently purchased the ProEagle Beast 2 ton jack. Loved it so much I just ordered a 1.5, to carry it with me. I looked into the Cat jack and after careful consideration, I went with PE. Yes, PE price is quite significantly more because, of obvious reasons and my personal reasons. (Supporting American jobs, Cat is simply a licensing product) And yes there is a kit to convert the HF jack to off-road. Too sketchy looking so, no thank you. Excellent video!
You can still get quality stuff from China. For years so many things have come from China. It’s funny how people often comment negatively about made in China, yet more than you think comes from there. Some of the biggest brands in the world outsource manufacturing to China for cost efficiency.
If you read the negative Amazon reviews you would think twice about buying one just to save 150.00 bucks. It's also 90 lbs vs 68 lbs for the Pro Eagle. But there are a few negative reviews of the Pro Eagle as well . . . All I want are the wheels to put on my regular jack because I have a rough driveway and I want it to roll easier.
Dang I would've chose the cat jack I love there boots wear them everyday 😍, I wanted a jack that if it break I can just exhange it fast not have to mail anything in or wait for parts just replace the whole thing Harbor freight had a coupon and I just got the Harbor freight credit card with an extra 10% off was an obvious decision. Still want that cat jack might get that one in the future for stay at home jobs and use the badlands for the rugged off-road or bring both 🤔
They shot themselves in the foot. They would be great for bringing cars in and out of the shop while jacked up. Every shop in the country would buy one. But they dont Steer!
instructions on these ofg road jacks say ‘only use on flat, level ground’- which logically, might mean in other words, 😩USLESS SCAMMM☹️. then again, description also says minimal height 5-6”, which judging on the height relationship between jack circle & front 3-3&1:2” wheels, might technically mean - MINIMAL HEIGHT, DUMLY MESURED & UNKNOWN(& hey, maybe if the same fool said flat even useless, maybe they were wrong there too!.

Sucks when companies build a product that’s basically a copy. If can post a video of pro eagle vs the cat in quality and performance would definitely not mind spending the extra cash if significantly better.
I’m not affiliated with Pro Eagle so I don’t know for sure, but I believe their factory is in China. I’ve sourced parts and assemblies in China before, and I can definitely say there’s a big difference in quality between the sweatshops people are usually worried about and an American-owned Chinese factory managed by American expats. In my experience, one can get high quality parts out of China if the company doing the engineering and marketing runs a tight ship at their Chinese factory. I would like to hear from Pro Eagle on this point and get a little more detail. For instance, where is your factory? Thank you.
I have the Pro Eagle 3-Ton Kratos jack, and I am very happy with it. But I will say that, on your own box, it says "Made in China." Please explain. Are you saying that the Pro Eagle factory is in China?
Now a year later how is the jack?
I am trying the Harbor Freight one. We will see!
Harbor Freight is coming out with a Badland off road jack in December for about $299.
Read the reviews of HF jacks even the most expensive. Yuck
I had mine hf 3 ton pittsburg since 2019 no issues until last weekend, need to find a seal kit

Build in china on in US

Yes. Thats important , if they all build in China, why should you pay more more for pro eagle , happy to pay more for US made or Japan.

@@hmoobfire apparently China
What an awesome jack. That spacer opens the jack up to another world. Thanks for sharing.
Definitely saving myself a couple hundred with this one and a full skid plate?!
Thanks for the video and GOD BLESS 🙏

It's not all steel.. frame is Aluminum.
How is the jack holding up ?
bro. it’s possible can you please tell me where can i buy that jack .?
Harbor freight sells an off-road jack now for about $300
I got the pro eagle, looks exactly the same as that but main issue with that lift plate is the little ears will start to bend to the point where the extension won't twist in
We have redesigned the lift plate and changed the material. Since we are the only jack manufacturer to offer replacement parts, you can get a new one.
@@proeagleoffroad can you guys add a led light , always thought of it too. I have a cheap led double taped to my jack

Excellent video!
I mean pro eagle is manufactured in China so you’re supporting very few American jobs compared to power built
Thank you! This video was a huge help. 👍

Thanks I'll look into one.
Where can I buy this floor jack?
Eastwood
Very cool. Thank you for the info. Have a good day.
Harbor Freight has theirs badlands for 300 $
Go BadLands Jack....Tomorrow's Jack Today 💙

They got it listed at 450 now, the site you purchased from is 503.. gonna go with PE for that price haha
I just bought a new 3 ton Jack that was $350, it’s a really nice piece but dang, I would have rather spent that on this thing!
Do you know the minimum height for using this jack?
Hello, good content I like the Jack will have to look into getting one
Dang I would've chose the cat jack I love there boots wear them everyday 😍, I wanted a jack that if it break I can just exhange it fast not have to mail anything in or wait for parts just replace the whole thing Harbor freight had a coupon and I just got the Harbor freight credit card with an extra 10% off was an obvious decision. That jack loos amazing but I don't see any threads sticking out of the nylock nuts on the axles. Is that fixable?
Snap rings, they are replaceable
Whats the weight on that jack?
Pro Eagle is "designed in the USA"
Harbor Freight has their copy on sale right now - $360 I think.
Can you post a link so I can purchase this. I have an f650 flatbed I'm looking for a reasonable jack for. Suggestions welcome everyone!
I think since you posted this video they all out of stock now 😂
nice hat!
Very Nice!!! I Like It!!
damn dope jack
Where is it made?
In China like everything else
Looks like the same as pro eagle.
Yeah but are those big plastic wheels with their pinned "bearings" going to hold up to all that weight? I can imagine those pins just shearing off.
They shot themselves in the foot. They would be great for bringing cars in and out of the shop while jacked up. Every shop in the country would buy one. But they dont Steer!
Hard to call it a Chinese knock off when the original is made in china too.
Not really. It is still Chinese. And still a knockoff.
Whatever makes you happy bud.

Can you share what components are different between the Pro Eagle and Cat? Great to hear it is assembled in house but are parts foreign/domestic?
