I like the flavor here.
You couldn't heal by playing notes, making girlfriend absolutely _necessary_ to winning this fight. Whitty kept breaking free from her strings, and only due to the incredible consumption right at the very end with the hypnotic swirl was Whitty's eyes forced shut.
The way the health bar changed when GF started singing was a great touch. Good one.

@DazeDazeDazz Who knows! If he doesn't fully uncorrupt and make his fuse subtle, he *could* go nuclear. I mean, the Corrupted already lit a massive fire; Whitty could run into it and theoretically go off, and the Corrupted wouldn't have much to do about it.
This remaster was AMAZING! The new Detonation went way harder than before, and the instrumental was sick! The new sprites here made this a ton better, GFs sprites in this week might be my favorites. The new BG characters mixed with the fire from the car really gave the feel of no hope. The new cutscene here too was one of the best I’ve seen, especially that shot at the end with all the characters. Incredible job on this, Renx, and everyone else that worked on this did a FANTASTIC job here! Can’t wait to be able to jam to this song on loop lmao

I'mma be honest the old sprites had more glow to them but these ones are really good too. (Mostly whitty since the rest of the sprites are definitely a upgrade)
It's really gorgeous how Whitty put all his best to even try to get away from Corruption, not to mention destroying it. And the final part of the song really displays it, giving you an absolute amount of health drain.
A great rework of a great finale, with it's... inevitablity.
This was an incredible remaster of this song. The intensity that is given off here is off the charts! After rewatching a few times I picked up on an interesting detail. Whenever it was just Whitty and Evil BF singing, BF's bar didn't move at all while it was his turn. Yet it did move up only when Evil GF joined in. Hmm? That is odd. I guess it goes to show how much of an impact GF had being present in this retry against the bomb guy.
Across the three days. It felt like she had a overarching presence, if that makes sense. With her being there to ensure there are no more mistakes this time, coupled with how she was staring at the player in Day 1 and 2. Here this gives off the sense that they are in control of the situation and they wont let anyone escape their clutches.
I assume this is what you mean, but in all the comments talking about how your health only goes up when girlfriend is singing i've seen, none of them said that it's because girlfriends notes are filling your healthbar, not yours. Your notes don't ever gain you health, hers does it for you.

I greatly enjoyed this little mod.
The music was fantastic and enjoy the whole concept of Corrupted BF breaking the fourth wall and screwing with the game and just “Hey,here’s a second week where we corrupt your ass.”
It always did seem like CBF had fourth wall awareness even in the OG mod too such as looking at the player and even getting angry with the player in their miss poses,so it was cool too see that used in a story way.
But yeah you and your team did an amazing job!
Whitty might have failed, but his attempt must have brought hours, if not, days to any remaining survivors.

If I'm not wrong, this takes place right before Lament, meaning there were no survivors on the entire planet besides Daddy Dearest. So essentially Whitty did nothing at all.

I have a *lot* to say about this.
First, everything visually is a direct upgrade. It looks amazing, from the new sprites to the background, and I love it.
I will miss Whitty pulling at GF’s strings whenever he sang, I really liked that detail, but him breaking them is pretty cool too.
The song’s remaster is also really sick, but I do take issue with BF’s voice. It’s kinda odd, both in how it sounds and how this is the only song to have it, and it’s easily drowned out by Whitty and GF, even blending in with GF a bit too much.
Overall though, this is an amazing remaster. Hats off to you and the team.

Yeah, that’s a glaring issue honestly. It makes me just want the original vocals with the new instrumental, or for there to be a legacy version of the mod as well.
Looking back, I’m also not a big fan of GF’s new sprites. I appreciate the effort they put in to redo everyone, but I think it ultimately wasn’t necessary, and in GF’s case it wasn’t worth it.
Yeah it definitely feels a bit like the finale took two steps forward but a few back especially with bfs vocals causing me to kinda dislike the song as everyone’s vocals kinda flow in a sense where every note is a continuation of the last but bfs definitely didn’t feel the same if you get what I mean

I find that boyfriends voice is most prominent, while whitty always had a voice that could blend in if you didn't put some of attention to it. I feel like bf and gf vocals bleeding together was intentional. Infact in the og if bf and gf sang together it would sound mixed, and not bled. Like if you put the og on in the background, if bf and gf sang you would have hardly a indication that it was two vocals

It has been such a journey, man. I remember watching the original week and being super impressed with everything. But now that you guys remade the whole thing, it just amped everything up to 11. The art is amazing, the music is amazing, and the people behind this mod are amazing. You, sir, deserve a medal.
I am adding to the many things that have already been said about this day(sorry if it sounds like a repeat). My little theory is that Gf was there to do one thing specifically. She needed to keep Whitty's fuse corrupted. throughout the entire song, you can see that whenever Whitty broke free from her strings and started singing, he is trying to go ballistic and light it. Boyfriend may have brought the rest to back him up so whitty can't run, but I believe his memory from his first run let him know that, once whitty goes ballistic, no amount of corruption can stop him from nuking everything around him (Best example is how he was able to match the corruption on the first round hence the swirl never appeared on screen, his ballistic mode was to powerful). Awesome stuff. 10 out of 10 gonna re-watch again

My jaw was dropped at this part holy, I love how whitty seems more resistant to fight back against corruption than old one, which it's good, also I loved that detail where the string actually breaks when whitty resists, it truly shows that whitty will not go down without a fight, and also how strong he was even he was controlled.
Overall, I like the cutscene, the sprites, the details and the background, this is single handedly the best corruption mod yet
I loved the detail when, looking at GF’s face every time she breaks them, it shows legit genuine shock, which is a great expression. Kinda gives off the vibe that if it was anyone else in that position they wouldve died several times over, but Whitty kept fighting
This was epic. Still sad to see the homie Whitty go out like that but Hot damn, easily the best corruption mod out there. The new voices really hit hard and resonate with each other. You can really feel the effort that was put into this. Great job as always.

The breakage of the strings really shows that GF wasn't just puppeting him and that he had some control
(i'm so sorry for this overly dramatic comment and that i missed the premiere, i love this video so much and i had to let my inner philosopher out)
i am legitimately left speechless.
i don't get amazed or get chills very often, but DAMN this one was just absolutely incredible.
the details of the opening cutscene,
whitty breaking away the strings to free himself,
that ending rush he pulls to catch you offguard and free himself. (he nearly does, too!)
but most importantly, i feel like this one has proper closure on whitmore.
i'm upset he very obviously suffered the same fate,
but the ending dialogue being respectful yet somewhat cryptic and obviously still malicious made it feel like what he did wasn't pointless at all. (i can't find the right words to describe it.)
hell, even the corruption ITSELF could not comprehend why whitty never gave up, it couldn't understand at all why he refused to bow, and fought despite there being no chance of winning. all it could do was admire his courage and ask itself... why?
it really made it seem less desperate and more of a heroic final stand, fighting against all odds, refusing to get on your knees... just because it's the right thing to do.
*this* is what i wanted, and the complete opposite of how every corruption mod i've seen so far ends. not with desolance or sadness, but a respectful farewell. yet still with that malicious comment at the end that takes away your sulking emotions and sparks you with rage again, because of the lives that have been taken, and what we just witnessed of what happened to whitmore right in front of us as well. he was the only one who could've saved us, and he did! in another timeline, though.. and that ending wasn't the perfect ending we wanted either, too. and now he's gone.
i'm sure the same rage that was sparked in some must have been the same fury whitty must have felt as well, i'm sure.
whitty put up one HELL of a fight, he won once, but got cheated and was caught off-guard and tag-teamed. yet with all these disadvantages, he never bowed down. he stood strong on his feet and resisted the pain, and kept singing and fighting until he could no longer, all for the good of the world, as he had nothing else to lose anyway. i'm sure his efforts weren't in vain in the slightest.
it's funny. a doomsday device created by a doomsday cult being hunted down by a top secret organization because of his dangerous tendencies despite his own intentions of not wanting to harm anyone at all and is the fault of his own biology... was the world's last hope against an apocalyptic entity.
he never wanted to hurt anyone, and yet... he finally found a use for his original purpose. for good. he found his meaning.
you were the flame that fought against the darkness, who lit up the world, when it was at its darkest. who gave hope, faith, and protection to all who crossed your shining light.

Okay this is peak corruption content new cutscene displaying the hopelessness in fighting corruption and Whitmore unable to go ballistic perfectly set up. The new vocals are exactly the kind of despair like feeling corruption would emanate Renx you and your team blew it out of the water with this. Can we talk about how CBF was literally unable to make ANY significant progress on the health bar unless he used that soundwave attack or Whitty was stringed along by CGF?
Whitty was basically surrounded by warnings that this world is dead/dying and there's no point in fighting to survive. He was nearly completely taken over by the corruption and was clearly in immense pain, but he. still. fought. Heck, he probably would've still beaten CBF despite the retry if they hadn't taken every possible precautions this time around (e.g stringing him, crashing the car, actually taking this seriously). Everything the corruption did to bring Whitty down was COMPLETELY NECESSARY, none of it was over kill as shown by the fact that Whitty fights back even with all the corruption's cards laid down. I think had even one of these precautions not been used, Whitty would've scraped out a victory.
He might not have the strength to turn the corrupted people to ash with an explosion in this hypothetical neutral ending, but he could've gotten away and found a new hiding place.
This was an awesome remaster Renx

I liked the song and every bit of it i can understand how hard it must be to actually put up with the currotpion seeing how many people falled to it's grasp, and seeing it actually talk words is another thing to actually bring down those people more, lioe for an example if someone powerful as whitty tried there best to fight but at the end they get overwhelmed and tired then at the end the darkness talks to them and says one good thing but then go's ahead and then says about bad things and then thats it, there will probably be more problems if more stronger characters get currotped but i wonder how will they take down tricky the clown or shaggy maybe even some other strong characters

through out the remaster of this week it showed that without GF's Assistance BF would've NEVER stand a chance against Whitmore this is even Shown with the HP bar where hitting the notes will not have you regain HP only through GF's help can you fight back against Whitty, even with the ability BF has it wasn't even enough, and the end part symbolized GF's final Ace the corrupting Iris as I call it, she couldn't use her strings during it because they would easily be unable to bind around Whitty's body and limbs and also the Fire in the background symbolized Whitty's fighting Spirit and it went out at the end showing that he couldn't keep fighting, even if he somehow managed to beat the two he was surrounded on all sides by corrupted people so what could he do.
Over all this remaster of Inevitable Fate was Amazing Renx I hope you keep up the amazing work

A good ending I have is that once everyone has been there. Corrupted would occur the week of soul bf as the original corruption
its never the end someone will find hope and bring a stop to this corruption and save the universe from a fate worse than death. I know this cause once they have a hold its not easy to control what they do to you, soon you will find yourself subcomming to this sence of needing to give up but don't let that wear you down! keep fighting for the world you love and don't stop till your last breath! NEVER GIVE UP AND FIGHT TO SAVE WHAT YOU THINK ITS RIGHT!!!
