      It's good to be back but only bead content will get me demonetised (again) due to "repetitive" behaviour. Learned that the hard way on my other beading channel, therefor diverse it will be :-)

    I just absolutely love your tutorials!!!! I have been able to make gorgeous rings thanks to you. I totally agree that if you are in a negative head space results will be bad. Been there done that. But with a great teacher like you there is no guessing or trying to figure out on your own. So thank you so very much. I look forward to watching all your tutorials. Take care

    Wanted to make sure I "thank you" for this tutorial! I always end up having trouble with the right tension and your method allowed me to have the correct tension and my rivoli 14mm fitted into the bezel nicely. I used the method with the tutorial I am following and my bezel was to big. I had to redo it and used 34 on the 14mm, but using your method I used 36 and it was a better fit right away. I recommend this tutorial to anyone needing the extra help. Good job using different colors for the rounds...!!!

    Thank You so much!!! I finally "got it" with your tutorial! I did have to go through the back of 15's twice but I finally made a pair of earrings that came out right. I have ripped out so many bezels because it just looked sloppy or the bezel would keep falling out. But with your tutorial it came out perfect.

      this is a "master it once and for all" vid I made for a beading community :-) I also did CRAW step by step :-) Happy to say the lights went on by each and everyone whom were frustreaded by CRAW :-) You just have to take your time. Make sure you slept well and tune our everything and everyone before you take a complicated stitch on to master. After you master it everyone one goes "wasn't that difficult". :-)

  • @janahunter429

    This is great! I have bezeled quite a few rivoli's following pattern directions and yours is the only one that puts 3 rows of 11/0's! The patterns I've used also add the 15/0's to the top then put the rivoli in and go to the bottom to do the 15/0's. My rivoli's move all over the place when I am trying to do that bottom row and I have to keep squishing things around to try and get it centered, I think this method is MUCH better! I think I can actually get them to look a lot straighter this way. Also, does the beeswax help with getting tighter tension too, as well as help with the fraying? I am making a beaded box that requires super tight tension, but my thread won't stay after I've pulled it tight. It just slips back. Could the beeswax help with this? Thank you!

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It will get tighter when you decorate beeswax helps with fraying and thread breaking. I think beeswax doesn't help tension. however if you need to keep tension you can always move back through the beads and forwards again.

    • @janahunter429
      @janahunter429 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      B4Pbakup yeah, that usually works except when working with all super duos. It’s very difficult to go through them all a second time because of the angle, their shape, and how tight they are against each other. That’s the problem making this jewelry box. However, I used beeswax this morning and I think it is helping to keep the thread from sliding back some. Unfortunately, I did have my thread break yesterday and I couldn’t find the end. The beads seemed okay, so I added new thread and kept going. Sadly, a huge chunk of beads pulled up from the row below. I ended up taking everything apart and will start the lid over again. The good thing, though, is that I’m going to use your bezel technique this time! It’s an extra row of 11/0’s than the pattern (actually she uses mraw which I find a lot more difficult!) but since it’s the center of the lid I don’t think it will matter. I think it will end up looking better.

      @@janahunter429 all superduo to bezel or for decoration?

    • @janahunter429
      @janahunter429 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@B4Pbakup Sorry, just saw this. I finished the box. I wish I could show you a pic! The box base is made with all superduos, except for the rim where I added 11/0 delica's and some 1.5-2mm in each corner. The lid is made with a bezelled rivoli using Delica's and 15/0's then you add on the superduos until the lid is the correct circumference and then add in beads in the rim as in the base. I ended up starting over, as I'd said, using your technique. It wasn't working and I then realized that you can NOT use 15/0 delica's in place of regular 15/0's. They are a tad longer. So I redid it again with regular ones and it came out beautiful! I was so happy not to be fighting with the rivoli being centered or moving around. Thank you so much!

    • @B4Pbakup
      @B4Pbakup  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The answer is in the video.... All you need is your stone, and some delica's and fireline and a day where you won't be disturbed for an hour or two and start the video and you will master the bezel.... :-)
