Well, I am so proud of myself for fixing my battery problem myself. I only bought the new key fob a year ago and was appalled that it wasn't working. As a 70 year old widow with modest income, I badly needed to discover your videos as I am so tired paying out huge amounts of money for small repairs to my various cars over the years. I followed your instructions and now my remote control is working perfectly. I will be following your website from now on. I wish I had known about it before. Many thanks.
The battery in my Yaris key was a CR2016 which I didnt have but the CR2025 which I replaced it with works just as well and will last longer. Hope this helps!
Hello, I have a remote from a yaris 2005, almost identicle to this one. It stopped working and when i put in a new battery the led blinks itself for about 30 seconds then stops working. Do you have any clue? I tried with batteries from another manufacturer but the result is the same :(
I checked with a multimeter and the 2 micro switches looks to be working ok, but for some reason led won't show and it does not emit signal. Thank you for your help.
I have a problem. My lock button locks the car but my unlock button does not unlock car but when I press it the red light does show. What could be the problem?

The battery in my Yaris 2 key was a CR2016 like saw on video
What size is the screwdriver ph000?
Noted 👍
The internals of my Yaris key are completely different... smaller battery, the buttons stay on the transponder unit and the battery cover is circular.
Also my keyblade doesn't say Valeo on it. (2000 Yaris 1.3 CDX)
Hi, thanks. Could you send video on your key?
can you show the location of the remote control receiver module in toyota yaris mk2 please
Do you have to re-code the key after changing battery or will it work the same as before?
Hi, it works the same as before.
Thank you
could you please tell the size of the screwdriver, which is written on the side of the screwdriver - but its not so visible... is it PH000?
PH00

It sounds bad... could the circuit board have broken in the key. You can get a new key from your Toyota dealer.
Thank you so much for your reply, i’m gonna check to some local locksmith if i get a better price perhaps.
I bought a 2000 Yaris, the owner had only a key that has no fob.
How can i buy new keyless fob and program it?
