easily the best sounding rhodes since the mk1 and 2. sounds right on the money and has a lot of great features. wish I was good enough to justify the purchase.
Wow not only is it a Rhodes, but it's a Rhodes 75 year anniversary edition. Limited run of 75. I don't know how people got their hands on one. The all black keys is KILLER
Hi Kait, big fan. Thanks for all you do. Just wanted to touch base as I’ve had a lot of issues with mine, was curious if you’ve experienced anything similar. Was getting quite a buzz from mine, had assumed it was 60’s cycle type issue at first, but when compared side by side with my Wurlitzer, or any other instrument for that matter, the Rhodes Mk 8 seems to be the only one with this buzz issue. Also noticing sound isn’t coming out of the keyboard very well if at all at times - all the lights are on however even the headphone out isn’t producing any noise. Trying to get to the bottom of this, just figured I’d ask other owners since there aren’t too many.
The new Rhodes MK8 will be more stable too. Not like the older Rhodes breaking down. I worked for a music booking agency that had to supply each band we booker for with two Rhodes because at least one of them would be broken every time.
One of the most beautiful sounds in the world. More of this please!

You sound great, funky chops.

I got to borrow one for a little while! I don't actually own one 🤪
It's not a 75AE. Looks very similar, but 75AE has gold trim on knobs and the fx panel.
Sounds great! For home studio. Not sure I'd want to leave the Nord home and wrestle this guy into my car and schlep it to gigs.
Yo at 12 $13,000 it would not leave my house😂
Taking rhodes to gigs is so worth it, don't get why people whine so much about it. All you need is a handtruck, they're very cheap
I just realized, this may have been where the term “Rhode-y” came from.😂

Thanks for doing this! The Mk8 is super cool!
Nice Demo !
Thanks!
Beautiful sound, Kait! Emerson would have been proud of you.
Let’s see (hear) the “beast” at work! New songs coming?
Hey thanks for the demonstration

Groovin’!
I'm a guitar player...couldn't get by without my BBE Ben Wah pedal!
Piano tutorial: Just play the white keys and you won't sound bad...

Nice!

Wowowowowow...

Never broken a single piece on a Rhodes personally and I abuse my current mk2.
Do this require an amp for the sound to be heard?
Is that the 75th anniversary edition?
How Much was it?
it was loaned to me to demo so 🤷🏻♀️
$12,000+
Why would someone want all black keys?
It looks cool
@@Danilo8208SSall fun and games till you can’t discern your keys at all on a dimly lit stage 😂
