This was written in 2015, when they were attending the 5-week summer program at Berklee College of Music in Boston. Dany had an assignment to write a song. Night before it was due, she was drawing a blank, feeling very homesick, and this is the result. Her sisters and parents were there too, but she missed her home, cats, and friends.
You gave me a huge gift in bringing this song to my attention. I took a huge step in my life yesterday that had to do a lot with openly presenting myself to the world as I am and as I have never done before. The pain was so mind-numbing, but at the same time there was such an immense urge and happiness to move forward. To struggle through it, screaming inside and going insane with frustration and anger, but at the same time welcoming what was happening with open arms and knowing that I was moving forward in a vital direction. The song embodies that so perfectly with the lyrics full of frustration and loneliness in lack of understanding, but at this same time the incredibly uplifting power in the music.

The line late in the song, "nobody knows about the hole in my soul when I'm alone". If you have ever been truly alone, you will relate to that feeling.
I felt this one in my soul. This song touched me more deeply than any other song I've covered by anyone. She has something special, and her ability to convey a feeling in a song so strongly? I was floored by this one, and I did my best to do it the justice it deserves!
One of my favorite things about Dany is her incredible voice but what I like the most is that she can play anything on guitar but she never overdoes it because she is always willing to let her sisters shine. This is my favorite band on the planet. ⚡⚡⚡
I've really noticed that about The Warning. No one is out to outdo the other. They're tight, and each member is crucial to this band! That kind of synergy is rare!
I think the arrangement which puts Dany front and center, solo, just her and her guitar, transforms the meaning of the song. Despite it's original meaning, it is now about being on stage, performing and having the spotlight all to herself, and perhaps being on tour.
the all-female rock group , called The Warning, for my taste is a rare mix of legendary rock groups like Suzi Quatro, Joan Jett and the black hearts and Heart. greetings from Mexico.
